Meder Resort 5 * - rest in Kemer
Rested family (2 adults and a child) from 06/14/2008 to 06/25/2008, all "inclusive" 5 * by fortune.
Skidded to Meder. We thought 5 * in Kemer is not 5 * in Alanya. But….
The hotel has a strict distinction between Russians and everyone else: if you are German, French, Italian and others, you are treated with reverence, if you are Russian, then they will serve you as a favor (if you don’t find a common language with one of the waiters). When you make it work once, then it seems to be better.
First impression - a large, fairly modern hotel. But as soon as we entered the room, we looked at the "balcony" and its size for the width of one foot of an adult, tried to turn on the non-working air conditioner - the mood deteriorated... The room was changed to the same one, but with a working air conditioner.

Sleeping on the bed is not comfortable, the mattress constantly rolls off the base. The minibar, which, as written, is updated twice a week, was updated 1 time in all the time. .
At the reception, they practically do not speak Russian. In poor English, German and French we were able to get answers to our questions.
The room has 2 armchairs, 2 single beds put together (like one large bed), which constantly had to be connected, as the mattresses were moving apart, 1 single bed for a child, air conditioning, mini fridge and TV. There is also an electronic safe - paid and only in the room ($ 3 per day).
Restaurant. If you do not come immediately to the opening, you risk being left hungry.
Food, quite varied (fruits every day, fresh pastries, meat and fish dishes). The fish are mostly river. There is practically no seafood. Tea and coffee only in the morning, and in the afternoon and in the evening you had to go to the bar for them, or when you call the waiter, then wait until he, His Majesty, brings it. There is also a problem with alcoholic beverages - white and red wines or very young or not natural (white with sediment), there was no Turkish cognac at all, they tried to shove brandy instead... Beer is not bad. And they have vodka, you know what kind...
Beach. Meder does not have a beach as such. The beach is urban, and the hotel has its own small part of it - 15-20 meters wide strip of beach on which there are 38 umbrellas and a super mini bar - a tent with water and a powder drink. The bus transportation of vacationers to the beach declared by the hotel every 30 minutes is a lie. The bus runs when you come up and ask - where is the bus to the beach... There is no schedule for transportation to the beach - people walk on foot, you can walk in 5-10 minutes (800 meters), but if the bus ran regularly, people would travel more. There is sand on the beach, the entrance to the sea is 2-3 wide pebbles, and then sand again, the water somehow stank of something.

The territory of the hotel, this is the hotel itself. All. Before the hotel 150-200 meters wasteland planted with sunflowers. Behind the hotel there is a road, small buildings, mountains and a forest. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Kemer. So the view is awesome! Concert venue class - mini. Although the animators tried their best, there is little that can be done on a tiny piece of the stage. The daily children's program did not shine with variety - the same program every day...
Conclusion: the hotel for 5 * clearly does not pull. If you choose it as a haven on the sea, we do not definitely recommend it.
