Finally, I gathered my thoughts and decided to write a review about our vacation in Turkey this summer at this hotel. I wrote a lot, don’t hit me hard, I wrote everything as it is, maybe it will come in handy for someone.
Rested with his wife in early July 2011, the peak of summer. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon at 3 o'clock, they checked us in immediately, no one carried our suitcases to us, we had to carry it on our own, well, we weren't embarrassed. I got a corner room on the ground floor just above the entrance to the Hamam bath and near the stairs (then this staircase did not let us sleep peacefully - ladies clicked on it with their heels day and night), the balcony overlooks the pool. The room had a small ordinary TV, a chest of drawers with a mirror, a wardrobe, individual air conditioning (everything worked properly). In Crane (well, maybe not only in it) there is one feature - they save on electricity.
Firstly, there is a special keychain on the key that, when entering the room, must be placed in a special pocket on the wall, and only after that everything will work and the second air conditioner is turned on only when the door to the balcony is closed. We did not know this, so we had to disturb the service staff at the beginning to explain everything to us and show us how to work with it. In general, the staff is friendly, but sometimes it seemed that the guys were very tired either from tourists, or from their work, or from the heat, and therefore all their positive emotions and smiles were strained.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, although small. For cleaning, we only had figurines on the bed at the time of check-in, on the rest of the days they only made the bed for us, although at first we left a tip, but then realizing that this situation would not improve, they stopped leaving.
They clean every day, take out the garbage, put everything in order, straighten the bed, to be honest, they didn’t notice if we changed the bed. Everything worked in the bathroom: hairdryer, faucet, shower, toilet. There was always water, but you just need to keep in mind that in the hotel hot water is heated from the sun in tanks on the roof and, accordingly, early in the morning it is either not there, because someone used it before you or not yet because it did not have time to warm up.

The food is rather weak, but normal for a 3*. The common table is like everywhere else - you choose and type what you want and how much you want. And as it was correctly noted somewhere below in the review - everything that was not eaten for breakfast will be processed into salads and served for lunch or dinner, and so on in a circle every day. Eggs, pasta, meat is not enough, sausage is tasteless and some kind of paper, one soy, all dishes mainly consist of greens and vegetables. Of the fruits, we had only watermelon, there were few sweets, and if they appeared, they were immediately snapped up.
A couple of times there was a barbecue - the cook went out into the hall and cooked small pieces of meat and fish on the fire - that was delicious. In general, we have never been hungry, but if you are used to borscht, potatoes and an abundance of meat, your stomach will get bored there!

Along the beach: the distance from the hotel to the sea in the catalogs and on the site, to put it mildly, is slyly indicated. There are far from 600 meters! To be objective, somewhere around 1-1.5 km. So get ready to either shell out for $3 auto delivery from your hotel or kick your feet through the streets of Kemer to a public pebble beach. At first, such walks caused only delight, but then, passing through the rows of sticky sellers who are ready to look into your mouth and get into your ass if only you bought something from them, they began to get tired of it. From the hotel for the money they carry to the paid Moonlight beach, it has a sandy shore. There are public free beaches, but there are pebbles and it is impossible to walk on them without pain in the legs.
We went into the water in flip flops, took off our shoes there and left our shoes closer to the water so that it would not be so painful to go out later. Friends who were before us in Turkey in Kemer told us that we should take Czechs to the beach with us, but we didn’t pay attention to this and didn’t take what we later regretted. Another unpleasant feature of the beaches of Kemer is that there is a large boat and yacht station nearby, and yachts are constantly being drained into the water, sorry, every city. but which then comes ashore, to the beach. The water itself is perfectly clear and salty, but we ourselves swam periodically, surrounded by cigarette butts, paper, some suspicious dark pieces and lumps. And this applies to both free public beaches and paid ones - there is only one coast. We concluded for ourselves - if you need a good rest in the Kemer area, a clean good beach for swimming - you need to take a tour to Goynuk or Beldibi hotels.
There are no such yacht stations and the water is the purest, so it is better to swim and sunbathe there. By the way, advice: if you want to get a good, beautiful and even tan, be sure to visit the hamam bath. You can the one in the hotel itself, it is also not bad. There, for 10 bucks, they will help you wash off all the accumulated and migratory dirt along with the old dead skin with the help of rough mittens, they will give you a massage with foam, then they will wash you, dry you with a towel, make a mask, give you a drink of delicious cold tea and sunbathe on the beach. We VERY liked it, we visited the bathhouse immediately on the first day and coolly relaxed after the flight and the road! They say that after the bath, the tan already lies on the new skin and will then last longer and look more beautiful.

Russians and Turks rest in the hotel, we did not see other nations during our stay.

Moreover, the vast majority of Turks young guys rest solely for their own pleasure, "shooting" free girls who came for such adventures for carnal pleasures. It is a little unpleasant to look at all these "sticky" and "errands" for girls, drilling undressing and lustful eyes. Well, we came to rest and especially tried to ignore these things.

In the pool - the water is always clean and stinks of chemicals. The volume of the pool is small and when there are a lot of people, you won’t especially run away to swim. Either they strive to dive or emerge under you, or someone splashes or jumps into the pool nearby, so that the water overflows the banks. There is a children's section, but almost no one swam in it because, like children, there weren’t really any in the hotel. They will just get bored there. There is no animation, neither for children nor for adults, at all.
Several times in the evening at a spontaneous disco local Turkish bartenders danced their folk dances. I liked it the first time, but then when it was the same again, it was no longer interesting. In general, there is no animation. The bar tried beer, gin, tonic, gin and tonic, red and white wine. To be honest, I didn't like anything. But they chose the best from the worst and drank only beer and tonic sometimes. The bartenders brought beer in kegs and how the jester knows how it is diluted there, but the purchased EFES beer that we took nearby in their supermarket (rather a minimarket) was much tastier and better!

Speaking of their mini supermarkets - one right next door if you exit Crane to the right and at the first crossroads to the left onto the main street, you will immediately see sliding doors. There are also good markets near the fountain square, where the clock tower is the center of the town of Kemer.

There is also a fruit and vegetable bazaar across the street from the fountains on Mondays. On it you can buy any fruits and vegetables: cherries, victoria, peaches, watermelons, melons, various sweets are much cheaper than in shops around the city. On Tuesdays, the clothing market comes, but it is located in a different place, closer to the hotel: if you exit Crane again to the right and go straight past the intersection, go past the telephone booths and continue straight ahead, a large square will appear and you will see the market. On other days this area is empty. By the way, you can also walk to the sea on foot along the same road to Moonlight Beach, always straight. We went this way for a night swim on this beach, no one is there at this time and, of course, you don’t have to pay for anything. The water is cool and after a hot day to plunge into the night sea is just bliss!

And then on to shopping.
If you are planning shopping, then it is better to go to Antalya to the Migros supermarket, which has everything at affordable prices, or if closer, then to Goynuk or Beldibi to boutiques on the streets like in Kemer. In Kemer itself, the Turks went crazy and insolent, everything is very expensive and they are reluctant to bargain. Rather, willingly, but they don’t particularly want to throw off, they work under the motto - if you don’t buy, another will buy. And so annoying sellers, they climb into your mouth just like annoying flies, we already then tried to walk not along the central streets with boutiques, but somewhere around. They just started getting it. We wanted to buy me some kind of leather jacket for autumn - spring, the prices were such that in Russia in Omsk it turned out cheaper. Then our compatriot neighbors from another room advised us to go to Beldibi, where they took a women's sheepskin coat very profitably. They obeyed, got on their local bus and for 3 bucks from the square with fountains we went to Beldibi.
There, the Turks are more friendly and accommodating, normally unobtrusively offer goods, talk, tell everything you ask. We didn’t even go for a very long time, almost immediately found the right option and agreed on the price without any problems, the Turk threw off from $280 to $150. We took an excellent jacket, the skin is soft, professionally finished, well sewn. Then they looked at us in Omsk - in our homeland we could take the same jacket one-on-one for at least 400-500 bucks. So draw your own conclusions.

Tours. We tried not to miss a single day in an empty one. We immediately learned the prices and directions of excursions from our guide (we went from Teztour) and then quietly went nuts when, on the advice of fellow countrymen, we turned to Ginza Travel. There, for the same excursions, the price is almost two times cheaper, they also make discounts. Ginza can be found if you move along the main street and a little before reaching the clock tower to the right you will see a large inscription GinzaTravel on a yellow background.
In general, from Teztour, we only went for free shopping in Antalya. They took us for free, and we, as it were, had to buy something for it in stores, but we were taken to such stores in which a normal person who understands anything about prices would not buy anything, the price tags are there for millionaires. Then from Ginza we went to Pammukale. By the way, there was one unpleasant moment from the side of the hotel, note to everyone! Because it is very early to leave Pammukale, we had to pack a lunch bag with food, because we did not get either breakfast, lunch or dinner. You had to order a lunch package at the reception. Below is a summary of the dialogue:

We approach and say: Please prepare a lunch package for us tomorrow.

We are asked: who are you coming from?

We say: from Ginza Travel.

Answer: not allowed! ! !
(We are freaking out, we know that in many hotels they don’t even ask from whom and where, they just prepare a lunch package and that’s all, especially since we have everything inclusive and paid for everything! )

Then they say: if they had gone from Teztur, they would have made you a package, but no.

In general, it became unpleasant somehow, but we didn’t swear and prove anything, let them choke on this package. We went to the store, bought water and food, and then took it with us.

The next day at 5 am we left safely for Pammukale. What it is and how to tell it in detail I will not, I will just say cool. We saw this wonder of the world: we looked at the amphitheater, soaked our feet in lime baths, and took a dip in Cleopatra's bath. They collected mineral water from there and even brought a bottle with them to Russia. If anyone also gathers in Pammukale, then I would like to pay attention to how they travel on mountain roads in buses!

We went there more or less calmly, it was early in the morning and everyone was sleeping, and flying back like crazy overtaking each other (I mean other sightseeing buses). When they compete in speed on a flat road, it’s still bearable, but when there is a sharp turn ahead and when you look down from the window you see that there is land somewhere far away and you can’t see the end and you feel that the bus picks up speed and lurches at the turn, you start to slide quietly from the seat, move away from the window and think about the parachute : ) But everything went fine with us, except that before the pass the bus overheated and stopped several times, maybe that's why it flew like crazy after the pass. Then we went to Tahtali - a funicular to Mount Olympos, a Finnish building. Altitude 2365 meters above sea level, above the clouds.
In principle, there is nothing particularly entertaining in this excursion, with the exception of the very effect of ascending and descending on the funicular - it is very high and scary, it takes your breath away, especially when it passes through the supports, the cabin begins to swing at a great height, everyone hoots and squeals. The time of ascent and descent is about 12-13 minutes one way. At the top, there is an excellent view of the sea, Kemer, the mountains - a giant picture, beautiful and unusual. I am very afraid of heights, but still I overcame myself and climbed to the top, which I did not regret at all. Next, we were in the AquaLand water park in Antalya. We went there specifically to see how it is in case the next time we go to Turkey with our kids. Interesting: various water slides, dark pipes, sea waves, riding on inflatable circles. I think it would be very interesting and fun for the kids, but the only thing that depresses is queues everywhere.
And there is one unpleasant feature in this water park - young Turks or Turkish women stand on each attraction and regulate the queue and the descent from the slides. Some are very attentive and polite to all vacationers, and some frankly show their disdain for strangers by pushing and shoving them down the hills and saying something in their own language, and Turkish children and Turkish women are escorted almost kissing in the ass. After talking after that with people who were in other water parks in which this was not observed, they concluded that we no longer went to this park either by ourselves, let alone with children.

In general, summing up some results: we were in Turkey for the first time and left with a good impression. We liked it, if there are no other options, then we want to go with our kids next time. Of course, there were some troubles but not so terrible as to spoil our holiday.

Everything was within reason and humanly. I liked the hotel as a whole, we think it’s normal for a 3 *, but we won’t go here again, and not because we really didn’t like something in it, but because, firstly, it is located far from the sea and secondly , with food I would like better. And if you go with the kids, then you definitely need to choose hotels on the first coastline with their own beaches and large pools on the territory with children's sections and children's animation. And I repeat, I did not like the abundance of Turks scurrying about in search of free girls for love. That's how it is in general. He wrote everything honestly and objectively in the first person. If you go to Turkey on your own, without children, relax on the sea, go on excursions, engage in active recreation, and not stupidly sit by the pool, drink beer and look for flaws, then you can stay at this hotel and come there only to spend the night ...well, more eat.
