Despite the fact that the PALMARIVA corporation is a reputable company, both Gul Beach hotels and Gul Resort are a complete disgrace.
We arrived at the hotel on 12-07-1.12:45 with the operator ERAI-TOUR. They gave us the keys to the room right away. Further not for the faint of heart. When we opened the door, we were struck by a terrible smell of dampness and mustiness, the doors were covered with fungus, plaster was falling from the walls, there was a terrible stench from the sewer, the ventilation was not working. The windows in the room are above the level of the chest, and it is impossible to open them for security reasons, from insects and spiders (see photo). At the reception, the impudent manager Ildir says that all the rooms are full and we have to wait 3-4 days to change the room, and if we don’t like it, we have to decide on the transfer to another hotel through our tour operator. Irina (erai-tour, tried, and took everything to heart, unlike her bosses) started calling the office and so on. etc. And my wife and I sat in the hall for 4-5 hours until they found out something among themselves. THE MAIN THING! ! THE THAT ON THE SIDE OF THE STAFF NOBODY INTERESTED ABOUT US, AND THEY DID COMPLETE IGNORS AS IF WE ARE NOT THERE. The wife began to cry from fatigue and helplessness. No one was going to do anything until I threatened the hotel manager that I would call the management of Plmariva and ask for the phone number *customer service* of this company. Twice he tried to switch the arrows to the tour operator, but when I roared at him demanding to give me a phone, he immediately ran into his room and locked himself. He left after 5 minutes with a radiant smile and promised to move us to a high floor the next day.

We spent the night in a nightmare, together with two spiders and beetles, see photo (No. 1401), a terrible stench from the sewer! Do not open the window, otherwise fresh air is not supplied. The smell in the room is a mixture of sewerage with mustiness and dampness. HORROR!
The next day we were moved to the attic on the 4th floor. Number 2 * with a plus and then with a stretch (No. 1452). But everything smells damp in the room, there is no ventilation in the bathroom!! ! old and falling apart furniture, bad repair. The main thing!! ! the hotel is cheating in every possible way to save electricity at the expense of our comfort. At three o'clock at night, the electricity is turned off for exactly three minutes so that all the switched on air conditioners turn off, and since they do not have a state memory, when the power supply is resumed, the air conditioner goes into standby mode (standby) - i. e. does not work. The first 2 days we woke up at 4 o'clock already swimming in sweat. I had to set the alarm for 03:15. and turn on the air conditioner again and so every night. The same thing happened in the afternoon at about 12.15, 17 hours.
The hair dryer turned off after 30 seconds, and in all rooms the same defect. Receptionist tells us - hair dryer standard. Amateur radio skills and a screwdriver on a Swedish knife helped. I disassembled it and found a problem in the fuse contact, or rather, it was specially bent down so that the hair dryer worked for a maximum of 30-40 seconds. and turned off in an emergency. Returned the contact to its normal position and the problem disappeared. Also helped neighbors in misfortune.
Plumbing is old and everything is kept on parole. The shower-cabin is very small, I had to wash outside of it and then go in for a swim, the water does not pass, . Shampoo was not provided, only soap. The towels are old and gray and smell damp, torn on the sides, see photo.
The linen is gray and with holes, instead of blankets there are only bedspreads with holes.
TV worked but with noise. Be careful!! ! I tried to touch the antenna plug and was shocked by a current of 220 - I think that the ground is acting up!

For 6 days there was never meat, only chicken and attention!!! -KIDNEYS! kidneys are after all food for an amateur, and not very useful, but they cost a penny, and you can call it meat. They also put their soy sausage everywhere and in everything and made everything out of it. Like eating meat. but in reality it just doesn't exist. The rest is all sorts of boiled fried vegetables, stuffed with chicken, sausage, and kidneys. In the evening they also give sweets - Turkish national ones are very sweet and fatty, the rest of the European-type cakes were all made from one custard between biscuits and only on top the cream differed in color and pattern, on the third day it was already impossible to eat! I don’t drink alcohol at all, so I don’t know what it is there, but from the usual ones they only have cola, fanta, and sprite, also chemistry-Yuppi in pouring machines. The bartender always queues, there are not enough glasses. Grill - every evening pleases the nose, but after a huge queue it turned out that there were kidneys, cutlets from yesterday's sausage or chicken legs. There is fish every day - horse mackerel, capelin and mackerel - also an amateur. From fruits there is always a delicious watermelon and unsweetened melon, twice they gave grapes and apricots. Attention !! ! the hotel management uses the leftover food in the following days.
In general, I will say, both hotels are a complete disgrace, and the directorate and small managers are impudence itself . . It's a pity because the hotel has a very beautiful green area 10 minutes (1 km) from the center of Kemer. The main very good coast is a crystal clear sea, the depth is 30-50 meters and at the bottom the stones can be counted. For the entire stay at the hotel, we did not see a satisfied tourist, nor a Russian, not a European, but we talked with many. Everyone complains about the service, food and quality of the hotel. Everyone rated it 2+ or 3 stars maximum. Gul-resort has 2 buildings, old and new. The old building is all damp and smells terribly from the inside, there is no elevator and ventilation. The new one is better, but it's up to four stars on foot from China. In reality, its second floor is the first, but on the minus 1 floor it is as damp as in the old building, although the rooms there are much better.
Although Palmariva teaches both hotels as different, believe me they are the same, with similar service and comfort. Therefore, it makes no sense to overpay for Gul Beach. The Gul resort is just across the road from him, or a tunnel under the road, and to eat, use the Internet, go to the beach, everything must be exactly in Gul Beach.
In general, going to both hotels means ruining your vacation. If you have already paid for the tour and cannot change the hotel, I advise you to get from the tour operator a guaranteed booking of a room above the second floor, since the hotel management calls the basement rooms standard, and all visitors first settle in these basements, and as they arrive, the guests are shoved them higher. I will also say that the staff, unlike their bosses, is quite friendly and helpful, although they drive the poor to the fullest.
