Hotel ratings by criteria:
Rested in Rixos Tekirova family, son 7 years old, in May 2008, a week. Not the first time in Turkey. The hotel is not cheap but worth the money.
The staff is well-trained, polite, friendly, regardless of the nationality of the vacationer. Most speak or understand Russian. The room was standard with mountain view - very quiet. I think that in the villas near the canal, loudly croaking frogs can disturb at night.
The food is excellent, great variety. I was pleasantly surprised by the fish menu - from a sword fish (I read it in one of the reviews, but I didn’t believe it) to lithium. Especially the fish variety in the main restaurant on Friday for dinner! Crabs, crayfish, seafood (cocktails).

The meat is perfectly prepared - I was impressed by the dinner at the barbecue restaurant, where I fried the meat myself. I really liked the "Italian" restaurant and "Onyx". But the "eastern" did not cause much enthusiasm, perhaps because such a menu is not a novelty now and at home. Drinks (including alcohol) - at the level!
Beer as everywhere in Turkey - "Efes".
They hardly saw their son, he appeared only for dinner - a high rating for children's animators, they also took the children for lunch to the children's restaurant "Riksi-mixi" in an organized manner. Although the children's disco leaves much to be desired. The son has earned a real medal "Champion of the Rixos Hotel" in football, which he is very proud of!
Adult animation, as elsewhere in Turkey. Contests, tournaments, shows in a word occupy those who wish as best they can, but without importunity.
The rest was complemented by an excellent performance of live music (a group from Istanbul, in the style of Joe Cocker, a group of "latinos"). Show monks of Shao-Lin.
We went to Antalya to the leather and fur factory. Shopping high quality. Trading is very appropriate! You can bring down the price up to 40%.
From Turkish we only know "thank you very much" - "teshekur ederim" or "teshekyurlar"! But when you thank the Turks in their language, they - both the staff and the sellers - are very pleased! For them, this is unexpected - the driver even blurted out "Danke" out of surprise!
Tipping was given only to those deemed deserving. The lack of a tip didn't make the service any worse. It seemed to me that a tip for them is much more important than a thank-you note at the "reception desk" with girls in national clothes. Apparently their premiums depend on this.
The only "dark spot" on the trip is the tour operator Tez Tour and Ural Airlines. Flight delay - 11 hours. In fact one day was lost.
The hotel itself left positive emotions, in a word super!
We can safely recommend "Rixos Tekirova" to everyone who goes for a vacation, and not looking for any shortcomings.
