We rested at the hotel from May 25 to June 04 with my husband. The overall impression of the hotel is "full delight".
We arrived at the hotel at night, immediately gave the keys to the room in block B overlooking the mountains on the 6th floor. The view is amazing, you can't take your eyes off it! They offered to eat at a night restaurant from the road, which we did. And in the morning began a good rest.
Employees of the guest relations department resolve all issues promptly, clearly, always help and always on the spot. Thanks to the girls Eileen and Margarita for their work, such services are definitely needed in hotels so that guests know where to turn in case of unforeseen situations and just questions.
The room is excellent, everything is in order, everything is clean and beautiful (thanks to our maid Nurjan, who was always friendly and recognized and met us with a smile). The mini-bar was replenished every day, no complaints, even the juices were changed in the assortment so that they would not be repeated.
Food at the highest level. A normal person wouldn't eat that much. From meat: beef, turkey, chicken in various forms. Whole trout fish (fried) and mackerel fillets (fried, smoked), anchovies (marinated), rolls. There have always been fruits: bananas, 2 types of apples, watermelons, melons, cherries, plums, nectarines, kiwis, apricots, grapefruits, oranges. In the morning for breakfast, 2 types of milk porridges: semolina and oatmeal, eggs in different variations: scrambled eggs, fried eggs, roll, boiled; pizza 5 varieties, side dishes: pasta (with tomato, regular spaghetti, in cream sauce), rice, potatoes. There are a lot of greens and fresh vegetables, grilled vegetables. Super desserts, 4 types of ice cream, 3 types of yoghurts in packages. Honeycomb, various jams and chocolate paste. Juices in packages of different types, natural freshly squeezed juices (orange and apple). By the way, it would probably be more convenient to prepare freshly squeezed juices near or in the main restaurant, I think that there would be more people who would like to. In general, food for every taste. There were even rolls and sushi. Loved the lobby bar. Decent drinks: Martini, Baileys, Brandy, Absolut vodka, liqueurs. The coffee is great. The bartenders are quick and polite.
The waiters in the main restaurant slowed down a little (although they tried) due to the large influx of tourists, but we ourselves learned to solve all our problems quickly and without complaints to them.
A lot has been written about the territory of the hotel... I fully subscribe to all the previous rave reviews! The beauty is amazing, the air from the pines is intoxicating... I think that the gardeners in Rixos, led by Shefik, deserve gratitude. Thanks to them for arranging the territory of the hotel. Everything is done with care and love. Lawns, shrubs and flowers are just a fairy tale!!!
The beach is pebble. It is problematic to enter from the shore, without special shoes, but from the pier it is very convenient, no problems. Canoeing (free of charge) almost every day, also very cool! There was a small problem with free sunbeds, but it was solved as best the girls from the guest relations department could.
There is an excellent SPA center, as well as a sauna, a steam room with menthol steam (class !!! ), a hammam. Even after visiting the sauna, we accidentally got into the action of a 15-minute free massage, which was done very professionally.
The hotel has volleyball and tennis courts, a football field, bicycles, table tennis and billiards. There is also a bowling alley and children's slot machines and attractions (for a fee). The gym also deserves attention. A lot of exercise equipment, there are electronic scales (just necessary with so much food absorbed), clean towels, drinking water.
The hotel has a lot of children with whom the animators are constantly engaged. But for a party youth holiday, I would not recommend it, probably it is more family than club. I would like to note that the hotel does not have intrusive animation, but if you wish, you can participate in all hotel activities: archery, darts, bocha, yoga, belly dancing, games by the pool, etc.
In general, only positive emotions and rest one hundred percent. Next year in September is my husband's 50th birthday and we are already planning to celebrate it only at RIXOS. We invite all relatives and friends with us, because we highly recommend it for a holiday.
Oh yes! We got to the Master class on cooking king prawns. The chefs of the French restaurant told everything, showed it, let us cook it ourselves, and then taste everything.
