Well, I gathered my thoughts again and I want to write about our next vacation in Turkey. I'll tell it like it is.

This year we flew to Turkey with our children (as planned). We flew from Pegasus on Boeing Orenair Orenburg Airlines. The flight there was generally without problems, early in the morning they took off like clockwork, a smooth flight without turbulence, and also, according to Turkish time, sat down like clockwork in the morning. And we returned back at night and the flight itself was very difficult: we collected all the rains, winds, turbulence zones, landing in Omsk was very difficult, as it seemed to us, the plane almost rolled over already when it touched the ground, it was thrown aside - in general, experienced that extreme! After landing, the plane was left in the middle of the runway and we were told that we would be towed away and that everyone should remain in their seats.

They adjusted the gangway but put it somehow crookedly, about which the pilot warned us over the speakerphone, we had to jump out of the plane when leaving. While we were walking to the exit from the plane, out of the corner of my ear I heard the flight attendants whispering to each other and saying that this had never happened to them before. I didn’t understand what exactly they meant, but it was clear that there was some kind of emergency (possibly emergency) situation, but the passengers were not informed about this. Well, most importantly they sat down, everyone remained alive and well and thank God!

More about Turkey.

We rested with the whole family from July 21 to July 30.2012 again in Kemer, only in the five-star Grand Haber 5 * hotel. The most season!

The location of the hotel.

Better not think! It is located almost in the very center of the city, a 5-minute walk from the central clock tower, a bit away from the main street. Another couple of minutes walk from the hotel if you walk along the street along the sea towards Moonlight Park, there are the main discos of Kemer (a paradise for young people).
In general, it stands perfectly: and not in the very center right on the noisy streets, but a little on the sidelines and everything you need is right here nearby.

Arrival.

They brought us to the hotel at their time around 10 am, we had to wait an hour for check-in while they prepared a room for us. Then they gave the key and wished you a pleasant stay. The boy - a peddler near the Reception said that he would bring our suitcases. We went up to the room, looked around, took a breath and even rested a bit and were already ready to change into beach suits and, as they say, start relaxing, but the boy with our luggage was not there. I will not go into the details of the adventures of our suitcase, but I will say that it was delivered to us about an hour after we took the keys and left the Reception to the room. Somehow I didn’t like it a bit, I would have known that it would be so, I took it and carried it myself and no one would have to wait for anyone.

Number.

We got the 331st family room for 4 people (the 3rd floor, according to them, it seems, but according to ours, it turned out to be the 4th, because they somehow have the first -1st floor, then the 0th floor, then the lobby, and then the first and next floors, and in the elevator the same way, at first I was confused). The room is a bit small but comfortable. Well, we only slept in it and sometimes rested, and therefore, its size did not cause us any inconvenience. From the balcony, a bewitching landscape opened up to majestic mountains, an amphitheater, a pool with a wolf, a playground, the sea and Kemer itself. Normal room, great view. Depressed only central air conditioning - it is no! I invited specialists from the Reception, they came, changed something, regulated, in the end they said that they had done everything they could and, like, it was very hot outside and the system could not cope. The first night was like hell! In the morning, I myself took up the adjustment of the air conditioner and something I did!
And I did the following: I noticed that the grilles through which it blows are made in the manner of automobile deflectors and are directed upwards to the ceiling and to the opposite wall, in general, the blow was not at all where I would like it to be and cooled the wrong area. Looking closer, I realized that with a certain skill, these curtains can be adjusted and thereby directed where the air flow is needed. So I did, stood on a chair and turned each cell so that the coolness began to blow into the center of the room and partly on the bed where we slept. There was no risk of catching a cold, because the air was not very cold. After that, the room became quite tolerable, and we all began to sleep more calmly and comfortably. Aliluya crazy hands!
The room has 4 beds (one double large for adults and 2 single beds for children), bath, toilet, large mirror, free minibar (it was updated every day, we got 4 bottles of mineral water, 4 bottles of juice and 4 bottles of water), a free safe , TV with Russian channels. At what time the room was cleaned, we did not notice, we only know that clean towels were always merry, clean beds were always filled, and a set of soaps and shampoos was constantly replenished. The toilets and bathroom were always perfectly cleaned! There was always hot water, unlike the hotel where we rested last year - there was an unspoken rule in the mornings, whoever didn’t have time was late (but there the hotel was triple, although very good).

Hotel staff.

Everyone was always very charming and friendly: waiters, cleaners, animators, attendants.

I can’t really say anything about the staff’s reaction to problems, because nothing serious happened to us during our entire stay at the hotel, we didn’t contact the Reception. The only exception to this was the initial appeal on the operation of the air conditioner, well, here the specialists tried to do what they could, the main thing is that they did not refuse, as they say. Well, and the “long” boy with a suitcase, which I talked about above, otherwise everything is wonderful.

Nutrition.

What can I say, the food is excellent and even very, but peculiar. The first couple of days just got high from the abundance of everything edible, but then somehow I started to get bored with everything. Something was missing. And in the end, even the beginning of vomiting from their food. Everything seems to be tasty, but without any richness or something. There were so many sweets that during the stay at the hotel they did not taste everything. There was meat and fish and pasta and potatoes and grilled.
I remember the meat cooked in the likeness of our shish kebab - that was delicious! Vegetables, greens and a bunch of different salads from them. Fruits: almost unsweetened watermelons, tasteless melons, apples, peaches, apricots, grapes, plums, citrus fruits. In total, heaps, but for the most part, as it seemed to me, they were not ripe, and therefore not tasty. Several times the restaurant gave local ice cream, but in Turkey it is also kind of peculiar, like rubber and, again, it tastes worse than our Russian one. By the end of our vacation with my son, we came across sour cucumbers (very similar to our homemade ones) that could be taken separately or in a hamburger at a restaurant on the beach. Emae, I trudged from the taste of these sour cucumbers like a “boa constrictor in a pack of dust”! And how did I not find them there before ...They were only in a restaurant on the beach and nowhere else. In general, I can clearly say one thing about nutrition - you definitely won’t stay hungry!

And then it will be much more pleasant to enter and exit the sea on the rocks. Having already had such previous experience, this time we specially bought rubber shoes for swimming for ourselves and the children in our local Sportmaster store. The sea is awesome and that's an understatement! The water is clean, my son and I were chasing small fish under the water, but where is it, it is unrealistic to catch them in the water, but for the sake of fun they entertained themselves in this way. The beach is 150 meters walk through the underpass under the road. Walk past the Ala Carte Restaurant on the left and their local bird zoo on the right. Beautiful! We swam, sunbathed enough, the children didn’t want to go anywhere on the last day - they were tired of rest, a paradox!

Hamam.

Good advice! Immediately upon arrival and be sure, before you start sunbathing, visit the local hammam. All of them are at a very high level. We went with the whole family.
My wife and I paid for it, but the kids were "pohamamili" for free: ) It's great! From the beginning, a steam sauna, then a foam massage with dousing and cleansing the upper skin with rough mittens, then a clay mask and relaxation with a cup of Turkish tea, full body massage. Everything is great! Having undergone a massage right there in the hammam, I was tempted to take a weekly half-hour course of back massage, I have a back massage, so I thought about improving my health a little under the hands of professionals. By the way, I’ll say the massage is good, but as soon as the course ended and flew back home, my back hurt again. : (After the hamam, my daughter was taken immediately to a local hairdresser while her head was clean and her hair was braided into a bunch of small braids. Her hair is long and therefore everything looked very beautiful and comfortable, nothing waved while bathing and her hair dries quickly. The whole operation takes a long time and required perseverance and patience.
The daughter endured everything and at the end the hairdresser gave her a national Turkish costume. I advise you to do the same for your girls : ) Then, for another month after arriving home, the pigtails held on and then began to unravel slowly.

Pools.

Separately, a word about the pools in the hotel. They are just wonderful! The main large pool in front of the hotel. Every early morning I did a swim for half an hour in the pool instead of exercising, and then, having dried in the morning sun, I immediately went for a massage - oh, it would always be like that, yes, Turkey is far away! : ) And your water park with a wolf is something. 7 slides for children and for adults a great attraction, the children were happy to unconsciousness. Ice cream was handed out several times near the wolf, and delicious cakes with cheese were baked every day. Cola, juices, beer, red and white wine, tonics, cocktails by the river. The animators were working right there near the pools. Well, it's hard for me to judge how good they are, because.
last year in another hotel there was no animation at all and therefore it seemed to us that everything was normal here. It was boring in the first place because it is difficult to stir up some of them for any competition, no matter how hard the animators tried. The children still somehow had fun with them, and the adults were very reluctant to participate in something. But what wonderful performances they had in the evenings in the amphitheater! Every evening there was something new. Most of all, we liked the visiting Chinese acrobats - in general, a great performance, like in a circus! And after the performances in Volka, a night disco opened, but we were not interested in it and we never went to it, but I think in vain ...

Kemer.

Went out to town several times. One time just to take a walk and show the city to the children, the other to find the hotel in which we rested last year with my wife without children. And then by the end of the holiday to do some shopping.
We went to Antalya to Migros. Well, I was actually impressed. A huge number of all sorts of boutiques and shops. There is a shopping center similar to Auchan. Everything is decorated very nicely and tastefully, but the prices in terms of our prices for some things still bite.

Tours.

My children and I visited the Dolphinarium in Kemer, which is located in the Moonlight Park not far from the Ozkaymak Hotel. Everyone was very pleased. For the first time in my life we saw dolphins and were amazed at their abilities. The children at the show squealed with delight.

We went on an excursion to Demre-Mira-Kekova from the travel agency Ginzatravel. We used the same company that year, and this year we came to the same agent, he remembered us, made gifts, and plus he dropped the price of the tour well. Demre-Mira-Kekova is also very interesting. I won't go into details, it's too long.

In a nutshell, I’ll say: a beautiful road along the serpentine sea coast (150 turns), we passed fishing villages, visited the church of St. Nicholas, the ancient city of the World, then we sailed on a large yacht across the sea to the sunken city of Kekova and swam in the open sea in a large bay. We were very pleased with the tour: firstly, it is deeply informative historically (by the way, we got a very smart and intelligent guide who spoke excellent Russian and did not stop talking all the way, his name was Davud) and secondly, it was simply very interesting and exciting. But I want to note, keep in mind that since the road leads along the mountainous coast and the serpentine in 150 turns, someone can get sick on the road, especially children, which happened to our daughter at the 140th turn...: (
In general, summing up, let's say that this year's vacation in Turkey was 200% successful. Everyone was very pleased with the hotel, food, service, friendly staff, sea, pools, water park. Everything was on all two hundred plus! I didn't want to fly away! Low bow to Grand Haber! Keep it up! You are best!

What else I want to say is that we will probably not fly to Turkey again ...or maybe we will fly, but only to some other area. And not because we didn’t like the country - no, we have Turkey deep in the hearts of everyone, we liked it very much, and if we could have stayed like that, we would have stayed or then moved here for permanent residence. No, it’s just that we were already in Kemer last year, and when we arrived there again, we couldn’t get rid of the obsessive thought that we just came once again to our dacha, before everything was familiar and recognizable. Now I want something new. So if God allows us to earn money for the next vacation, then we will rush to another country.
Have a nice rest and good mood! And look always and everywhere for the positive, then everything will be on top! Hello Grand Haber!
