We were traveling with three children (one was a baby), so my wife insisted that we stay at the hotel for 3 weeks. However, just before the trip, the wife and the younger were hospitalized with bronchitis. so I went by myself with my daughters. I ask you to understand in advance - my impressions are not the emotions of a lonely dad with two children at a resort. Our girls are quite independent, and I have never been a burden with children. In this regard, we were probably even lucky to be together and give my wife a break from us : )
The hotel is really very green. At the time of our stay, they were celebrating their 14th anniversary (!!! ) You understand, for so many years there trees have grown oh-hoo. When flying by parachute, we managed to see the neighboring hotels. Even Amara Dolce Vita is not that green. The palm trees are sheared, the lawns are manicured, even wild bananas grow.

We flew through Pegasus, ordered an individual transfer, which I recommend to everyone, if you don’t mind a couple of hundred. True, upon arrival there was the first joke: the Turkish driver realized that we were only one adult and two children instead of the declared five with trunks. So I decided to make some money. Two-room suite, family apart (hall, two bedrooms with a door, 55 m), on the third floor of a three-story cottage. In fact, the useful area is much smaller, since a quarter of the area is occupied by a large balcony on the terrace. But in principle, it is quite enough for a family with two or three children. In the hall (it is also the first room) there is a folding wide sofa - the girls slept on it. There is enough space for two children. There is also a TV there.
The bedroom has a double bed and a separate couch under the wall - a concrete ledge with a mattress, tiled and upholstered in aluminum strips. The location is very inconvenient as the room is stretched out in length. Between the bed and the bed, the passage is about 30-40 cm in total. At first, at night, I constantly ran into the corner of the ledge. On the third night I scratched my ankle for the first time. I called the reception several times, asked to do something - no one came. At the end of the week, I still hurt my leg in the same place, but already seriously - a scar of 12 cm now remains forever. The salt water wound didn't heal the whole vacation. They sent a locksmith only after he came to the reception and made a scandal, throwing his leg with a torn cut to them on the counter.
Housekeeping - we got a conscientious woman. I left her $5 each, and we always had plenty of soap, shampoo, towels, a clean floor, towel swans on the bed, and flowers.
By the way, the soundproofing of the room is very good. With closed doors, night discos were almost not heard. Although if you go out to the balcony - you can hear the disco in our hotel and in the next one.

The air conditioners are old and push air. Until I left 5 applications at the reception, no one came to clean and refuel. In Kemer in August it is VERY stuffy and humid. Especially in the evenings. It is impossible to sleep without air conditioning. Leave it on all the time to keep the room cool. Only in the morning I opened the doors to the balcony to ventilate. The rest of the day is very hot and stuffy.
Food - the main restaurant can only be called a canteen. Two large halls, crowds of people, a lot of food, but the dishes are the same every day. True, there are really many types of dishes, so you can experiment with different dishes every time. A very large selection of oriental sweets. Fruits, fresh salads. There was even a bar where the Turks chopped salad right in front of you. We were told that in other hotels there are queues in the main. restaurant. There were small queues for some types of food: shawarma, fried pasta, watermelons/melons, omelet - where cooking is required.
Repeatedly in this canteen came across soiled plates. And the coffee cups are a song at all - all in dark spots, some with dents. Once I caught one of the seniors in the canteen, who inserted the piston to the waiter precisely behind the coffee cups, indicating to him which ones to take away and which to leave. But it was the only time in all 3 weeks.
Didn't notice the friendliness of the waiters. Turks stupidly work out the salary. They are not aggressive, but not particularly friendly either. It is felt that you are a visiting contingent, which is supposed to be served according to payment, but no more. Do not expect an extra smile or greeting. Bring drinks - it's easier to go to the bar for them yourself. They silently show you: you are strangers. Later we were in Egypt - there is a completely different attitude. They literally carried us there in their arms, with smiles and jokes.
I never got to the SPA center - in the mornings and evenings I had to be with the children, and during the day it was somehow not cool to take a steam bath and lie down for a massage. But experienced comrades said that there was simply no SPA.

Animation is a separate issue. This topic is really given a lot of attention. For those who came for 7-10 days, every day is a surprise. But we naturally saw in 3 weeks that the numbers are repeated. There were many animators, all very cheerful, active, diverse. Lots of numbers, programs. The guys worked hard. True, such things came up regarding children's animation: the first week there was practically no animation - girls were sitting in the kids club and stupidly decorating children with paints. But then a senior animator appeared - as it turned out, she was sick. And then it became impossible to get my girls out of there. Later I managed to communicate with the girl. She has been working at the hotel for 6 years, admitted that the situation is getting worse every year. Almost all children's animation rests on it alone. As soon as she got sick, the children's animation was gone. She was also one of the best actresses in the Snow White number, which was shown once a week in the amphitheater.
Very pleased with the diving center. That's where, where, and here the real staff worked. The eldest is the Turk Alper. And his brother works there as a dive master. We quickly found common ground with them. And when they left, they even gave their mobile numbers on purpose, and said: "be sure to call if there are problems before departure. It's a foreign country, anything can happen. " While I was diving for a week, I calmly left the girls with the wife and daughter of the owner of the diving center. They will be treated to ice cream, and they will ride on a boat for free. The diving center seemed to me just the same island of hospitality and humanity compared to other places in the hotel.
Excursions - upon arrival at the hotel at the first meeting with the guide, they try to sell you a lot of excursions. The variety of routes and names is simply mesmerizing... And rafting, and a trip to Jerusalem / the Dead Sea, and a lot of local attractions. As a result, those who went to Jerusalem arrived tired, they said they were driven everywhere running and running. Some run around Israel. The children persuaded me to go to the farm with them to ride horses - some cheap motel with fast food for lunch and a small shabby garden, a couple of circles of 2 minutes on horseback and that's it... Then with new acquaintances we rented a minibus and ourselves We drove through most of the sightseeing places within two days. To be honest, we didn’t understand what a joke it is to take an excursion to each point separately? Our express tour to Mira was enough to see everything worth seeing. Everything cost two hundred for three adults, three children. Maybe I'm spoiled by Italy, Germany, etc. ? But I've seen better and more interesting places. In Turkey, the feeling of some kind of endless scam did not leave me: any unsightly ruins were elevated to the rank of a historical monument. At the same time, garbage and dirt are everywhere. Yes, our Chersonese looks better.
And finally, a few more words. I talked with many who come to the hotel for 6-7 years. Everyone (ALL! ) unanimously declared that the hotel is getting worse and worse every year. Previously, regular tourists were treated with attention. The hotel lacked tourists and the management did everything to attract the public. Now the hotel is just overcrowded, and the Turks have given up on everything. Gradually, good chefs, bartenders, waiters, managers, animators, etc. leave the staff.
