Personally, I liked the hotel, although I'm not sure that it deserves 5 *. We rested with a child, so my review will be about a family vacation. The most annoying thing is that the hotel has no natural juices at all, except for tomato. Naturally, it is full of all kinds of Jupi, but it is better for children to drink them as a last resort. My child has switched to drinking water. And the food seems to be varied, but the most delicious is grilled chicken. There are really very few fruits for 5 *, only apples and oranges. In other hotels at the same time there were cherries, melons, strawberries every day. We bought ourselves. The season starts around May 25th, then really round-the-clock food starts, it’s more difficult to find a sunbed, there are much more people. Mostly rest Ukrainians.

Drinks in the bar, according to ours, are "diluted" - in reality, of course, they just have such local drinks : -) Wine in the main restaurant from barrels, in the sense of foil bags - draft.

Bottled wine is available (much better) at the other two poolside restaurants. Regarding a la carte restaurants: for the first time in 8 years of trips to Turkey, I met such a stir: if you are going for a week, you can only visit such a restaurant once, having previously signed up at 9 am. And by the end of the holiday - real queues, scandals, the recording ends in 15 minutes - a lot of people who want to. These restaurants are Mediterranean with Italian or fish cuisine (your choice) and Turkish (did not go because the hotel had a Turkish night). The interior and service, of course, is an order of magnitude higher than in a general restaurant, but you won’t have time to dine in an hour - you have to wait a very long time. The menu is not bad, "signature dishes" are arranged from the same products as below. In the fish restaurant, they didn’t wait for the hot one (salmon), but there was something with shrimp, mostly with carrots.
The territory is beautiful, a lot of greenery and pine trees, we never turned on the air conditioner, the room was in the shade of trees. The hotel looks like it's from 1989, but the refurbishment is recent and quite decent. There are a lot (if you look closely) of CCTV cameras - on all paths, etc. You absolutely need a bracelet, without it you are not a person, they will let you into the hotel and will not feed you. I confirm the stupidity of the girls from the reception, I would even say soviet limitedness. The question of my friend's check-in at the hotel was solved for three days, on the eve of her arrival we spent 3 hours talking with Christina at the reception, calling the guide and everyone in a row - to no avail. 5 minutes after Christina left, a question was asked in English to a Turkish woman at the reception, who solved the problem in 2 minutes. So better learn English and refer to the source.

Animation is not bad, amateur, with dancing.
It even seemed original to me, until the next day I heard the same competitions at the neighboring hotel, with the same words : -) apparently, they have a book "Animator's Handbook 2007" : -) Kids Club: the room is good, they do not differ in originality , but mine (5.5 years old) seemed to be pleased - they draw, watch cartoons, toys, simply. The playground is good. Cleaning is not bad in the room, but not once, despite the tip, they did not clean the balcony and did not sweep the bungalow in the common hall - there are leaves, dust, etc.

We lived on the first floor, it is high, we do not complain about insects from the street. The line of bungalows farthest from the beach - the distance is not critical, everything is still close. Only in the evening you can hear the animation of the neighboring hotel (they yell very loudly into the microphone and music), but they never waved to sleep. The beach is just huge. Chaise lounges not all with the rising back. You can go to the beach at night, but it is lit up. I have never seen swimmers at night.
The disco starts at 23:00, in a separate building. It's fun there around midnight.

Water slides are not bad: three pieces, more for children than adults. When leaving the hotel, you can call the reception and call the boy on the square for luggage, he will arrive in 5 minutes. The rooms are released at 12, but you can leave your luggage in the storage room and walk around the hotel further. When you arrive before 15 hours, there is a chance to expect room cleaning at the reception - they do not populate. Our room was actually cleaned at about 4 pm, probably first cleaning for a new arrival ...In a bar with imported drinks, for some reason, there is always a queue on the left side, and if you walk to the right, there is a bartender, but no people. Ice cream is good after dinner in the cones impose.

Sauna, jacuzzi and Turkish bath are free, but the temperature in the sauna is never hotter than 65, they catch up with the ferry with eucalyptus. There are a lot of people in the sauna in the evening. I advise peeling to ask to make a woman.
As for massage, in the spa salon it is not medical specific, but light relaxing. The pools are not bad, the slides work much more than the promised time. Lots of small children's departments. They play volleyball, water polo, pool games, boccia, pneumatic shooting, bingo and other joys.

PS And just in case, a warning: the Simena Sun Club is a former resort & spa and is HV-1. Some unscrupulous agencies still show photos of the vast territory shared with Simena Holidays and Villas HV. Hotels have recently split and Sun Club got a huge beach and seaside area. Main building now goes to a 30-meter beach 400 meters past the Sun Club fence. Villas HV are generally located across the road from the sea.

In 2005, the Simena Hotel and Simena Holiday Village II were separated from the Simena Holiday Resort & Spa. These hotels have different management, territory and service. Simena Hotel and Simena Villas tourists cannot use the services of Simena Holiday Resort & Spa (Sun Club).
