Hello! We rested at the Sumela Garden Hotel for 6 days.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were asked to wait a bit, since we arrived at about 10 am, we turned gray for half an hour, after which we were put on bracelets and after a short tour of the hotel and an attempt to sell services in the hammam, the administrator wanted to put us in a room, but took out key box with number 106 (these are rooms on the minus first floor, there is a lot of humidity from the bath) and we immediately asked for another room.
He said that there are two free rooms, one with a non-working air conditioner, and the second without a balcony, and asked which one we want to see, we said that we would see both, and when we went into the room, he first turned on the air conditioner, it turned out to be working, we immediately they said that the room suits us, and then there was a funny pause, when the administrator wanted us to pay him something for the fact that the air conditioner still works, we thanked him with a smile, and he hurriedly left without receiving the expected baksheesh.

The second very important point that I would like to highlight is the managers of your agencies who come to meet you on the first day of your arrival. Their main task is to sell you excursions at a price 2-3 times more expensive than in a travel agency opposite the hotel.
They will persuade you in every way to buy excursions from them, they will put pressure on the fact that it is safe and verified, that you will be insured and will use anything to make you buy excursions from them. Don't get fooled.
For example, if you buy a tour to the Water Park from an agent, it will cost 55-60 dollars per person, if you buy across the road from a Maxwell tour or Ginza travel agency, then the same tour will cost 22-25 dollars. And if you go to the water park on your own and buy tickets at the entrance, it will cost $ 17 per adult.
So in everything, for example, if you buy a trip on a yacht, then it will cost about $ 40 per person from an agent, and on the waterfront in Antalya, you can ride the same yacht for $ 5 per person. The main thing is to pretend that you are not interested, then the prices are falling before our eyes. The quality of the organization of tours will be the same.
You can get to Antalya by bus, you can stop it right from the road near the hotel, they run every 15-20 minutes, the fare is 5.50 liras or 2 dollars (It's better to pay in liras, it's cheaper). Money can be changed in the hotel lobby, but it is better to go to a bank or an exchanger in Antalya where the exchange rate is higher. You can get back to Beldibi, from the bus station at the Ottokar stop, and you can get to it by a modern free tram, from almost anywhere in the City.

As for the hotel, we can say that for 3 stars it is not very bad. Our ticket with a flight cost 660 dollars for two. It seemed to us very inexpensive, given the season, so we did not build any special hopes. A great place to hang out and be at one with the sea. The rooms are not bad, the furniture is a little old, but of high quality, the plumbing is normal, there were no problems with the room. Hairdryer, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, were. The room was cleaned every day.
The agency told us that the usual price for a ticket to this hotel is about $ 1.000 for two, it would be a lot, it is not worth the money.
The food was not bad, there was always enough of everything, although sometimes there was a long queue for something especially tasty. There were a lot of vegetables, salads, side dishes, often fried meat or fish, for sweet watermelons, melons and a lot of sweet (mostly of the same type) cakes, in general, everything is delicious, you definitely won’t be hungry. The choice of drinks is not very wide: Fanta-cola-sprite substitutes, juices like yuppies, beer, wine, tea, coffee, you can ask for some kind of cocktail, but basically they are all of the same type (if not the same).
The service is very good, the waiters run around all day, I just don’t understand how much strength they have. Everyone is very friendly and kind. Animation is mainly evening discos, aerobics, sometimes darts and competitions before the disco.
Music for an amateur, mostly Russian long-familiar compositions.
The biggest minus in this hotel is that people take their place on the sunbeds with towels, and leave, the towels are never taken away, they lie there at night. Gives a little scoop. And the WiFi is terrible, only at night in the lobby you can work a little, it doesn’t catch in the rooms. For people who cannot live without the Internet (like me), this will be an inconvenience, you will dream about trying to connect to the Internet at night))
Everything else is good. For a three-star hotel, it's quite a decent hotel, most importantly, they try very hard to please the guests.
We will not go a second time, but Sunela Garden justifies its price of 660 bucks with a flight by 200%.
Have a good rest everyone.
