We rested at the Sunland Hotel in May 2008 with my husband. In general, I liked the hotel. It was built only last year, the renovation is very beautiful, the view in the room from the window was on the mountains. A bit noisy because there is a road nearby. On the other side of the hotel there is also a road, but I think less noisy. The food was good, there were vegetables, meat, and fish. There were also sweets, but most of them were very sweet, cloying. Ice cream was given every day from 15-00 to 15-30 near the pool with slides, in the same place a woman cooked cakes: I really liked the cakes with meat, I advise you to try! The waiters work very quickly, after them our waiters seem like brakes to me... Of the two a la cartes, only one has worked so far, Italian: although the chef is Turkish there, he cooks well, I liked it. Bottled wine - for a fee. There was no promised freshly squeezed juice, although if you wanted you could make it yourself: there were plenty of oranges. For a holiday as a couple or with a company, the hotel is a great option, but I would not recommend it for families with children. There is no beach as such, there is a pontoon with sunbeds and from it down the stairs to the sea. We went to the beach in a 7-minute walk, which we read about in the reviews and were very pleased: there were few people, it was quiet and calm, although it’s not suitable for beer lovers - they don’t pour it there.
The animators did a good job too. True, we were only at evening shows, during the day we, as a rule, were not at the hotel: either on the beach or on excursions. A beautiful show "Turkish Night", a cool show "The best couple of the hotel". During the day they taught belly dance, played water polo, had step aerobics.
As many have already written, it is better to take excursions on the street: we took it from a guide because of insurance, but, as it turned out later, insurance for active sports does not apply, and you buy from a guide twice as much.

In shops and in the bazaar, you constantly have to bargain, the prices there are said to be exorbitant. You can look for shops for the Turks, and not for tourists, where the prices are set and normal, more or less. Near the souvenir shops of the Church of St. Nikolai, there is a shop with sweets "Nur", where baklava costs 14 lira per kg, and then we bought it at "Sorbet", where the guide delivers on the way to the airport, for $ 23.
When shopping, the guide sends you to very expensive gold and leather stores, but the things there are of good quality. So if you want to buy something for yourself, you can go, but bargain until you're blue in the face!! ! Earrings with small diamonds, for which we wanted 680 dollars, we bought for 200, although we could have lowered the price a little more, but we no longer had the strength to bargain.
In general, Kemer is a very beautiful place, similar to our Crimea - mountains and sea. Because of the mountains, after 17-30 you can no longer sunbathe: the sun hides behind the mountains. But I really like the combination of mountains and the sea, that's why we chose Kemer. And I am very happy that I went there!
