We were in Turkey for two weeks in July - August 2008. When there was a question about a place of rest, the goal was one - to relax on the sea. We traveled with a 6 year old child. I initially aimed at Bulgaria, where I had already been, but the price of visas (3x60 = 180 EUR for three) upset me a little. This time the wife was looking for a place to rest. The priority was Turkey, where we have never been. I was wary of this country, after all, cultures are different, plus a country with 99% of the Muslim population. But the wife approached the issue seriously and, on the advice of friends, began to focus on the reviews of vacationers. Money was given for the Internet to view sites with reviews, but not in vain. As a result, we had a list of a dozen hotels. Dropouts started. As a result, there was only one Begonya *** hotel from the Kemer region (not to be confused with the hotel with the same name from the Alania region, which had very bad reviews). The main criteria were the proximity to the sea (Mediterranean!
), convenient beach, All-inclusive food, no megacities and mountains. All this we found in our hotel. Naturally, we found photos of the hotel on the net, looked through all the reviews and started looking for offers from travel agencies. Almost everywhere our hotel was already in the STOP. Fortunately, we found an offer in our travel agency. The offer was from Trek Travel International. We tried to get tickets right away. All this happened about a month before the start of the trip. They began to wait.

We were on a direct flight to Antalya, where we were met by a Trek Travel International representative, and we quickly got to the hotel by bus (about 40 km from the airport).

The hotel is located in the village of BELDIBI (previously explored on a satellite map on Google). This village stretches along the coast in a narrow strip. The hotel is located literally at the very beginning of the village in its northern part. Brought directly to the hotel, "surrendered" to the reception.
At the reception I met the manager of the hotel, a very nice girl, she told us everything and led us to our room. The hotel building has a total of 30 rooms on 4 floors. It was already nice that there would not be a large crowd of people. We got a very good room - a bed for two plus a separate bed for a child. Furniture in very good condition. The air conditioner is not above the beds. Balcony with plastic chairs and a table and, most importantly, with a beautiful view of the mountains. Everything was like in the photos. I must say right away that the hotel is located away from roads and large entertainment venues, so you could enjoy the silence and clean sea and mountain air. The room had everything you need, there was plenty of space for things, the bathroom has a shower, hairdryer, bidet. Everything was clean and tidy. Windows - plastic double-glazed windows, everything closed and opened well.
What was a little lacking at first was a small fridge, but according to hotel policy, food was not allowed to be brought into the room. Then we realized that you can do just fine without a refrigerator. The hotel is clean and tidy, the corridors are clean carpets, walls, it was very nice to be in such a well-groomed place. In general, we saw what we expected, and it pleased.

The hotel's own beach is a ten-minute quiet walk along a beautiful green alley and a narrow road with rare cars. We crossed only one highway that runs along the sea with not very heavy traffic (not a highway). In front of the beach there is a small park with coniferous trees and fountains. We found the hotel's beach quickly - the entire beach is "cut" with ropes into sections of different widths with signs with the names of the hotels. Everywhere the same plastic sun loungers and stationary parasols from the sun.
The beaches are clean enough, but there were also enough cigarette butts. There are trash cans everywhere. Toilets, changing rooms, showers with fresh water - everything was enough. Small cafe bars are also very close to the beach. There were always enough good sun loungers on our beach, which cannot be said about the neighbors on the right and left, where the people were crowded, and the guests of these hotels sometimes moved to us if there were free places. The sea is excellent. For two weeks the sea was always clean, no jellyfish, algae. Only fish. There were small waves for a couple of days, but this did not interfere with swimming. The only negative is the first 5 meters of the sea. Large slippery stones (20-30 cm), which are impossible to walk on. At first, this was very discouraging. But then the problem was solved. The water in the Mediterranean Sea is very salty, and you can swim afloat without much effort. We were told the way to enter the sea by one girl who arrived 3 days earlier than us.
We just went into the sea knee-deep, where there were still small stones, then lay on our backs and swam further to where there was only clean sand, while we could only stand on tiptoe. A line of buoys 100 meters from the shore, where the bottom was no longer visible even with swimming goggles. It demarcated a place for people to bathe and an area for boats, jet skis and other means of entertainment on the water, of which there were plenty for every taste. Having sailed a distance from the coast, one could admire a very beautiful view of the nearby mountains. For all the time there was not a single day with cloudy weather. We swam as much as we could - the sea was warm and clear. The main goal has been achieved.

Now about food. Despite the fact that the menu was dominated by vegetarian dishes, we really liked the food.

For all the time, there were grilled chicken wings three times (three pieces per person), unfortunately, the fish was only twice, which was a bit incomprehensible to us, after all, the sea is nearby. Basically - different vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, asparagus beans, lettuce, etc. ), rice, potatoes and pasta in various variations. I was also very pleased with the sufficient amount of ripe watermelons for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which we ate ourselves due to the lack of such without a huge amount of nitrates in our house. Here is the standard menu:

Breakfast.
Watermelon;
hard-boiled egg or scrambled eggs with sausage;
three types of sausages and cheeses;
butter;
tasty muffin;
honey, jelly and jam;
tea and instant coffee with milk.

Dinner.
Watermelon or melon;
soup (mushroom with champignons, tomato, chicken with noodles, etc. );
eggplant, zucchini and other vegetables stewed, grilled in different versions;
sometimes kebab - something like a fried sausage with a lot of spices;
sometimes small cutlets with stewed potatoes;
salads;
simply chopped fresh vegetables;
sweet dessert;

afternoon tea.
Tea coffee;
pie - a simple and chocolate biscuit.
But when there were few people, they handed out three small round cookies (2.5 cm in diameter and 5 mm thick) from a standard package against the bill - it was fun.

Dinner.
See the menu for lunch, only the assortment is slightly larger.

Meals were in the restaurant on the second floor of the annex to the hotel. Mountain views from all sides, a sea of greenery and trees with ripening citrus fruits. Pleasant unobtrusive music gave a sense of calm.

In the bar, where everything was included until 22:00, it was possible to consume a certain amount of soft and strong drinks (vodka, beer, wine, etc. ). My wife and I took only red and sometimes white wine. Nothing that tastes good. The child often asked for orange water or sprite.
Yes, the drinking water in the bar smelled slightly of chlorine, so we then bought five liters of local mineral water every day for $2 per bottle and juice for $2 per liter.

There is no animation as such in the hotel. But in a way, it made me happy. We saw examples of animation in other hotels in the neighborhood - nothing exciting like most of our weddings - singing songs live, pulling from the table to dances and competitions, etc. It was just nice to relax in silence or listen to light music. After 23:00 - silence, you could safely put the child to sleep. For those who needed entertainment, there were plenty of places for active recreation. A sea of discos and restaurants-clubs. True, when in the evenings the Turkish guys from the kitchen danced their folk dances, it was interesting. We did not take excursions - we spent all the time at sea, swimming and sunbathing. My wife and child went to Aquatroya for a day, a new themed water park near Antalya.
And the watermelon painted just jewelry! Yes, I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that the owners of the hotel dined with the guests, ate the same as we did. The maid is a very pleasant woman, she always cleaned the room very cleanly, diligent. The only little thing - the hotel declared a change of linen twice a week. We were changed only twice in 14 days - the first time, as expected, on the fourth day after arrival, but then only after a reminder after another six days. And this is very important for hot weather (under +40C), when you sweat all the time. Maybe they just forgot ...Therefore, remind about it in a timely manner, do not wait.

In general, we enjoyed the trip very much. The sea, the sun, the hotel - everything was perfect. Of course, it was a pity to leave. We were pleased with how our money was spent, I believe that this holiday option had the best value for money.
I advise those who travel with children, those who want to take a break from the bustle of the city, from noise, exhaust gases, to go to this hotel. You will get complete rest. I hope you enjoy it too. Good luck!
