In many respects, it is quite drawn to a four-star hotel in Turkey

Because I went on vacation without my wife, the requirements for the hotel were minimal. Budget, the presence of the sea nearby and the opportunity to make business trips to Antalya and the suburb of Kumludzhi Karaoz. Castle Park Hotel fully met these requirements.

Castle Park Hotel is a budget hotel located in southern Turkey, Kemer region, about 40 km from Antalya International Airport. The village of Beldibi 1, where the hotel is located, is the first on the way from the airport in the chain of the main resort villages of the region. Travel time from the airport is usually about an hour.

The hotel has three residential buildings, five swimming pools and a rather large orange garden with a recreation area. The main building is five-storied, the rooms are located along the corridor system and face all four sides of the building, which is square in plan. Balconies are available in all rooms. In the room where I lived (No. 509) there was a table and three chairs on the balcony. As well as a portable clothes dryer.
There were two 0.5 liter water bottles in the minibar, which could be replenished at the restaurant bar. 4 local lamps created a sufficient level of illumination. In addition to them, separate ceiling lights on the balcony and in the "entrance area" at the door. Three blocks of sockets with switches, two of which are located between the beds, one on the opposite wall near the table.

In my room there are three beds, one of which is double, a table with a mirror and a bedside table. There are also two bedside tables and a cabinet for a suitcase and shoes between the wardrobe and the wall at the front door. There was no other furniture in the room.
The WiFi signal in the room was almost non-existent. I preferred to work with the hotel chain in the lobby of the first floor, where there were two "sofa" places with sockets nearby. Several sofas and armchairs in the hall were equipped with "antique markings". Block A, a three-story building, was previously an independent hotel with all the attributes - two swimming pools, a restaurant, an entrance gate, etc. As explained at the reception, this season it is rented by the Castle Park Hotel. The third building - a small, three-story building, gave the impression of a service building.

The measures dictated by the “covid” situation (I emphasized that I had a rest in October 2020) were also manifested in the organization of food according to the “all inclusive” system. This consisted in the fact that the filling of dishes at the choice of guests was carried out by restaurant employees in protective gloves. The area for the location of food stalls is fenced off from guests with a continuous film. Only bread and spoons/forks/knives could be taken by yourself.

The entrance to the main hall of the restaurant, where meals were distributed, was controlled by the restaurant staff. "Social markup" was present on the floor of the main hall of the restaurant and in the lobby of the first floor. In addition, an antiseptic dispenser hung at the entrance to the main hall of the restaurant. And the restaurant employee controlled the temperature of the guests at the entrance to the main hall.

Before entering the elevator, there is a sign in several languages, warning about the need for only one person to be in the cabin. Waste bin next to the elevator with the sign "only for used protective masks and gloves. " On the main routes of movement of guests, markings on the floor with arrows of two bright colors. And the standard "reminder" about the social distance of 1.5 meters.
During the day I rarely visited the hotel, but I noticed an increased intensity of wet cleaning of the floors. On the hotel's own beach, I did not notice any special differences from the "good old days". But I was there only during the traditional for me indispensable component of my concept of relaxation - "swimming in the rays of the rising sun. " But the territory of the park adjacent to the beach had signs of the authorities' concern for the non-proliferation of a possible covid infection.

I will add to the “covid topic” that the hotel staff strictly followed the mask regimen. In public places (although this does not apply directly to the hotel), local residents are everywhere wearing masks despite the rather warm air (during the day its temperature was around +30). I note that a significant part of the tourists, especially the older ones, wore masks on the street. The hotel did not have such a requirement for guests.
I have paid little attention to describing the other attributes of a "hotel summer vacation. " Just because I didn't use them. I will only note that the presence of five pools for a three-star hotel met for the first time. And I met such a large territory only in treshki countries of Southeast Asia. But in Turkey, I have never seen such a vacation in fifteen years. The only "little thing" - meditating swaying in a hanging chair by the pool in the garden made me think of having such a "device" in the country.

In addition to business trips, I took advantage of the offer of a street travel agency. It is located a hundred meters on the way from the hotel to the sea. The boat trip I chose from Adrasan to the island of Suluada cost $15.
If you do not attach too much importance to the queue at the restaurant at the time of food distribution, then I did not feel any special differences from the “good old days”. And this universal misfortune did not touch nature in its visible part. The sea in the velvet season is just as gentle. The flowers are just as bright and the air is filled with their fragrance in the morning just as before. Also, at every step on the street, there are travel agencies and many souvenir markets. Usually at the end of the season, and October is not only the velvet season, the sellers strongly hint that they sell everything at a big discount. I confirm this fact with a personal example of buying for the local currency - Turkish lira.
