We rested from July 29 to August 8.2011.
We are resting in Turkey for the second time, the hotel was chosen long and hard) We flew with Pegas Touristik - the same for the second time, we are satisfied with everything)
We took the room right away in a bungalow, but, frankly, we expected more: in the last hotel (Queen's Park), the room (also a bungalow) was much larger, one double, two single beds, large plasma, there was also a small TV (between we called it "Ruby" - remember, old such TVs ...but, I’ll immediately note that we saw it on the pictures of the hotel, were ready, that is, it was not a surprise) only two beds, two bedside tables on the sides, and places for a third bed, it seemed, was not even calculated ...they asked the reception for a crib, they brought us something like a very tolerable folding bed: a frame and a mattress. And everything would be fine, but the metal frame is 15 centimeters longer than the mattress, it turns out that when leaving the balcony, the first thing you hit is this bandura ...
one lamp does not work, the distance between the beds is 30 cm ...okay, we would have put up with this, but when weary of the flight lay down on this "crook" and several boards flew out with a roar - patience came to an end ...in the end, I had to go to reception - good health manager Victoria! - "resolved" everything: they brought a new, normal bed, without a protruding piece of iron, made a lamp. there was a survey (opinion about the hotel) on the dressing table, and on the very first day we decided for ourselves that we would not put any of the points above the top three, and even more so, we would not recommend ...but ...about everything okay...
The food, I must say, was very monotonous - no, the choice, of course, is large, but almost the same dishes every day, but, again, everything was very tasty, so a solid "five" for the food! I will immediately note the work of the waiters: polite, unobtrusive, friendly, they will do everything, bring everything, as you say ...
The territory is small, but beautiful: everything is compact, but cozy.
about the Turkish bath ...we were offered to go (from the travel agency) to Kemer, but we went to the hotel SPA center ...what can I say. . if we were the first time, we might have liked it, but having little experience, it looked like some kind of hack - they rubbed you a little, “foamed” you a little, a massage and everything is free ...I don’t know, maybe this is an amateur, but we didn't like it... we paid $40 per person, but somehow weak....
The beach is excellent - pebble, blue flag, very beautiful view, it’s only a pity that it was impossible to jump from the pier (when choosing a hotel, we paid attention to the presence of a pier - who knew that it would be impossible to jump from it! but we, I confess, a couple of times - still jumping =))
and I would like to devote a separate chapter to the animators ...as soon as we arrived, we went to our bungalow, passing by the stage, we heard something that looked like a duck: "Quack-quack", "Mik-mik" (whoever heard what, you understand )...first thought: "God. . where did I get?.... "...Christmas trees-sticks!
! if I knew that soon it would become just the "soundtrack" of my life!
on the very first evening I met volleyball players and animator Chatai - I don’t know how to play, I stood on the site more for beauty, but I really liked it: great people, great communication)
in the evening we reluctantly went to the show ...I’ll explain why reluctantly ...drawing a parallel, again, with the last hotel: we went to the show there once, everything was so stupid, flat and vulgar that we spent all the remaining evenings in the room in front of the TV ...so ...guys, from the first minutes of the show, I realized that I would not miss a single one! everything was just great! with humor, with a share of improvisation, in excellent performance, very lively, "naturally", let's say so! The impressions from the show were simply incredible!
then life went on as usual: we realized that the room was very good (I personally only spent the night in it and ran to the shower before dinner), the food was very tasty, EVERYTHING IS FINE!
Many thanks to the animators: Yulia (a great girl, very nice and interesting, it was nice to communicate with such a person), Anya (sorry, I didn’t get to know her properly), Chatay and Haribo (also, they didn’t communicate much, but their mini disco , dressing up was just unforgettable! ), Buraku (a good guy, but also didn’t communicate much with him), Cheburashka-Okan, special thanks (just a man-orchestra, I will never forget how they played water polo! ), Kemal (a wonderful boy, very dear, sorry, he doesn’t understand Russian well), Jimmy and Erhan, like (well, I just can’t remember his name) - always together, and always lit)))
There is a lot of entertainment in the hotel, you will not be bored, that's for sure, and this, of course, is the merit of the excellent animation team. In order not to be unfounded, I will tell you my "daily routine":
7-8 hours - rise.
breakfast, sea - swimming, sunbathing, "fish feeding" with children and Haribo, volleyball...
11:30 darts, games in the pool, saunas and a pool (sort of like training))) - I practically didn’t go for lunch: it was very hot, I didn’t want to ...
14:30 - water polo, water slides, darts and volleyball again, then go to the room - wash your hair, change clothes and have dinner ...
20:30 mini-disco starts - I always liked it) then immediately the show - an hour and a half, always very interesting and funny)))
in the last three days, a disco was added to all this (not bad, it starts at 23:00, but people gather closer to 23:30 - midnight) and you come to the room at two o'clock, fall asleep ...
in general, it was very interesting, not tiring, in your free time you can sit in the pool bar, chat with vacationers, with animators - I met wonderful people)))
great contests! on the last night before departure (in the evening of August 7) I participated in the Miss Hotel (I ran onto the stage purely by chance ... ) and as a result I won))) I never participated in such contests, but it was very interesting!
I really regret now that I didn’t shoot the video: show, mini-disco, Miss Hotel - and there was plenty of memory on the camera, but, apparently, it was just laziness ...now you find these recordings on the Internet with nostalgia, you look back and it’s like again you return to this fairy tale (otherwise, like a fairy tale, this vacation, this hotel cannot be called! ) Do not believe me, to which I am not a sentimental person - I watch the Titanic and do not cry! =), but for an hour before leaving and all the way home, I roared: I couldn’t leave, I got so used to it, I became related to these people....
Summing up, I would like to say that the hotel where I was before is an order of magnitude higher than Elize: yes, Elize is smaller, the food is not so varied, the rooms are smaller, the territory is smaller, but ....it is in Elize that I would advise you to go, and It is in Elize that I would return with pleasure myself! In general, only positive emotions and memories remained about this hotel, I advise everyone to visit this paradise in Turkey!
