It was the first time in Turkey, the hotel was chosen based on reviews, ratings and photos. That's why I decided to write my own review! Everything in general is not bad, if we meet again in Turkey, then I will go to this hotel!
A little about the tour operator. The ticket was bought through Tez Tour at the end of January. The departure time was promised to us at 6 am, which means that at 12 we would have already been at the hotel, but 2 weeks before departure we were told that the time had changed by 12 days and, accordingly, we got to the hotel late, at 18.30. By the way, the return flight from Antalya was at 8.20 in the morning, we were picked up from the hotel at 4, that is, we got 7 nights and 6 days, which is not encouraging.
Settlement. At the reception, they immediately gave us a card from the room, they said, as if guessing our reaction, that there were no other rooms and that tomorrow we would be moved to another one, to a good one. They put on the bracelets, the porter boy snatched the suitcases from his hands and led him to room 9001 on the minus first floor near the store, the photographer and the exit to the pool. The room is terrible for five stars. It is two-room, in the first there is a folding sofa, in the second there is a double bed. The windows in it are small under the ceiling, and from the street they are flush with the ground. Of course there is no balcony. There is nowhere to dry things. Everything would be fine, only it’s still dark, cold, damp, and the furniture is a little old, there is no handle on the closet, the carpet is in terrible stains (I’m afraid to imagine from what), cold water needs to be drained for a long time to get hot, well, the drain in shower cubicle. We returned to the reception, but there are no rooms, and they will move only tomorrow. Guide Tez Tour Dima was with us, but could not help solve this problem. We came in the morning, the shift changed, we had to re-tell that we do not want to live in such a room. The girl again promised to move after dinner to a nice room on the 3rd floor.

Room 1307 with a large balcony overlooking the pool, sea and mountains was many times better, cleaner and brighter. The room itself is small, the furniture is not old, the mattress and pillows are comfortable, everything works in the room. TV is not plasma, hair dryer, refrigerator, 1.5 liters of drinking water, central air conditioning, remote control on the wall. Turns on automatically when you enter the room with the balcony doors closed. Ropes and clothespins are needed to dry things on the balcony. There were no bathrobe and slippers in the room. There were also no combs and nail files (as in the review below). They came to clean the room after about one in the afternoon, when we were in the room, so we refused to clean it a couple of times, only took the garbage, changed towels and added gels, soaps, shampoo. On other days, we left a dollar for the maid on the bed - we didn’t spin swans, but there was some kind of flower. )))
WiFi was everywhere: in the room (even in 9001), in the lobby, in the bar and on the beach - the password is at the reception. On the beach was even without a password from the neighboring hotel Asdem.
Here on the site in the pictures you can see L’Oceanica and the beach right away, but this is somehow not the case, between them there is still the Asdem hotel. Although the beach is nearby, go 50m across the road and Asdem. On the territory of Asdem there is a bar L'Oceanica, a volleyball court, a darts court. And immediately the beach of L'Oceanica, wide, there are a lot of sunbeds, all under umbrellas, mattresses on the sunbeds. Near each umbrella there is a table and a trash can in the form of a vase. The sand is strange, gray with small stones, pieces of shells, closer to the water there are large pebbles with pieces of shells. In general, you need to walk in special shoes, they are sold nearby on the market, prices vary from $ 5 to $ 12.
The sea is VERY clean and transparent.
But beach towels are a different story. You can't really change them! Two towels are given per card. They are issued from 9 to 11 in the morning, and you can return them from 13 to 15, that is, if I hand them over, I will be without towels until 9 in the morning. On the day of departure, you can return at any time.
The hotel area is small, but clean and beautiful. Here on the site there are pictures in which the fence goes right behind the pool, and behind it is sand. Now instead of sand there is green grass and the fence of L'Oceanica behind it, that is, the territory has become larger. The pool is normal, the water is not cold, it has already warmed up. After lunch, there are a lot of people near the pool, less in the morning.

We got to the birthday of L'Oceanica. Before dinner, as a gift, the animators handed out L’Oceanica branded beach bags, they cost $ 10 in the store. By the way, prices in Turkey are mostly in dollars; Turkish lira is not needed with you at all, and tips are taken in hryvnia, and in rubles, and in dollars). Take sunscreen and sunblock with you. In Turkey, for example, TM Nivea creams range from $20 to $35.
The hotel has a photographer. But he takes pictures so-so, from a professional he only has a camera. One photo costs $5. He promised a discount, but did not give 10 photos for $ 40))). The photo will print and dump to disk.
The food is normal. It’s not that insanely delicious, but you can eat, you won’t stay hungry. A solid four on a five-point system. The food is fresh, we have never been poisoned. The food was repeated, for breakfast there were always boiled eggs, omelettes, fried eggs, french fries, cucumbers, tomatoes halves and coarsely chopped and finely chopped in a salad, in general, for every taste. Lots of different greens. Yoghurts, oatmeal, fruits - you can mix yourself any muesli you want. Buns of 4 types, with butter, honey and chocolate butter. Chicken and turkey meat in different cooking options. The cheese is delicious, the sausages are not very - strange red ones. Beef and lamb was rare. Separately, there was a children's table. From fruits, oranges, grapefruits, lemons, apples are always red and green, but watermelon and melons every day only for lunch. There was no tangerine, plums, strawberries (probably not yet time), pomegranates were seen on trees - they are still very small. Fish was also rare. Just a few times in 6 days. Once grilled, once steamed, once fried. We did not try any salads of local cuisine with mayonnaise. The first courses are also not very good. Once I tried some kind of soup, it tasted so much - a lot of some ingredients, ground in a blender and reddish in color - not tasty.
Drinks are normal and beer, and white wine, and whiskey, and aniseed vodka. Red not so much. Upi type juices are not tasty. But coffee is normal, if you pour a double portion of it, while removing the cup from the machine, when just water flows and, pressing the button again, pour only coffee again.

The chef meets at the entrance to the restaurant and wishes you bon appetit. Everyone is polite, pleasant, they speak good Russian. The waiters are well-mannered, asking if it is possible to pick up the dishes. The tables are clean, the plates too, everything is enough. Animators also ate with everyone.
Animators Ferhat, Lena, Katya, and Dogi entertain people as best they can. Children really like it. Animation starts on the beach at 10 am with 2 club dances. It's cool, a lot of people are dancing. Then morning exercises, darts, volleyball, water aerobics in the pool. In the evening, after dinner, they entertain in the amphitheater near the bar, first the kids until 21.45, and then the adults with various shows. We got to the fire show performed by Ferhat, Turkish nights - there was a dancer, comedy shows - we did not go. They, I think, are all repeated. ) At 23.45, the animators invite you to a disco in Kemer for 3 hours. Costs $15 per person.
We saw local dogs. They are few. They are not wandering, a little unusual. We saw a beautiful big white dog with blue eyes near the beach. No one puts them on sunbeds. : )))
The restaurant did not see anyone smoking at the tables, although there are ashtrays.
We went on a tour to Pamukkale. 240 km deep into Turkey on mountain roads. We left at 4 am and returned to the hotel at 9 pm. I liked it very much. The tour was bought at the hotel from the guide Tez Tour Dima. By the way, he was almost always in L'Oceanica. It is cheaper for agencies located on the market, but where are the guarantees that you will not be taken to no one knows what and will not be taken to no one knows where. And who to turn to with claims if something happens... Everything is well organized at Tez Tour. Comfortable bus with air conditioning. There was lunch, dinner, we stopped by for a wine tasting, an onyx store, a textile store. Although I will write a separate review about Tez Tour.
In general, we liked our stay at L’Oceanica. I recommend! Perhaps we and the Turks have a different concept of a five-star hotel, but it pulls on a solid four, unless, of course, your number is 9001. : )
