Vacationing out of season is great! Everyone works - you rest, and return tanned to our cloudy icy greyness. Our family practically never goes anywhere in the summer. After all, in the summer we have quite a good time. But in the offseason, going to distant countries is the most happiness. And there at this time there is no terrifying heat. And the sun is such that a tan is taken in two seconds and remains for a long time.

Usually we bypass travel agencies and organize our trips ourselves, but this time we had little time and had to go along the "beaten track". Turkey was chosen as the destination. The small town of Kemer, and the Orange County Resort. We have replaced our usual campsites in Rome or homesteads in Palanga with an ordinary mass vacation spot and a classic vacation option - an ultra all-inclusive hotel. So everything was new.

This is our second stay in this country.

The first time we visited Turkey was with a group of rock climbers who had a training in the historical and wonderful place of Olympos. We stayed in an amazing place - a small hotel called "Treehouses", which means "tree houses, wooden houses". They are actually located right on the trees! Check out their website. Although we chose a less extreme option - a two-story house standing on the ground. I'm not ready to live on a tree yet))) There were no hotels, resorts and other things. Although there were tourists coming to see the ruins of the ancient city on the seashore. We passed through these ruins every day to our climbing routes. They trampled, so to speak, the antiquities with their feet. Mountain gorge, mountain stream, peacocks on your balcony and dinner in the gazebos in the fresh air...

This time everything was much simpler - plane, hotel, beach, sea, food, lots of food, wine and food...
However, our familial fears and prejudices about classic standard hotels with their ultra all-inclusive benefits, smorgasbords and lounging on the beach did not materialize in our case. Active rest was quite successful. But first things first.

Hotel

The complex itself is decorated in the style of Holland: Van Gogh paintings, a mill, tulips. The entire first floor is occupied by shops, restaurants of Italian, Oriental cuisine. We are located on the 4th floor with a mountain view (land view). There are pros and cons to choosing either side of the hotel. I'll tell you, and you decide: rooms with sea views overlook the pool, restaurants, kids club and slides. Breakfast starts at 7 am and at the same time the sun is the best for sunbathing and swimming. So, if you like to sleep longer, then those who got up early can obviously wake you up. But during the day the sun goes to the other side of the hotel and the rooms are immersed in cool shade.
In the evening, you can watch the evening show, performance, children's disco and disco for adults directly from your balcony. So they won't let you go to bed early here.

The "land view" rooms, especially on the 4th floor, where we are located, offer a wonderful view of the city and mountains! The mosque was visible right from our window. So on the first morning I woke up from the loud chants of the mullah, resounding throughout the city. And I thought, will they really wake me up here every day? ! But the rest did the trick! All the following days I slept deeply and successfully skipped all the morning prayers. But during the day the sun comes into the rooms and it is difficult to do without air conditioning. Although there are several advantages of the sunny side: you can sunbathe right on your bed. Well, things on the balcony dry perfectly. So I would still recommend a view of the mountains to vacationers with children, and active youth - to the sea.
There is also another alternative to rooms - small two-story houses on the territory of the hotel. True, they cost twice as much, but for a large family or company, maybe the price is justified. The only thing you need to be prepared for is that someone will constantly walk past your houses, children will frolic in the playground, vacationers will swim in the pool ...That is, you will obviously not be lonely there. But you will have to go to the main building for meals, and the sauna, hammam, indoor pool and beauty salon are also located in the main building. But families with children are quite fine - you can sit in the house yourself, and the children play on the playground opposite, or vice versa - put the children to bed, and sit yourself at a table on the street ...So there are a lot of places - everyone will find suitable options for themselves. My favorite was the hammock on the terrace by the mill - sea view, lanterns, favorite drink on the table and a fascinating book in hand. Miracle!
Since we were at the end of October-November, the reviews of many vacationers in the summer are not at all close to us, they say, there are a lot of people, not crowded, there are no places in the restaurant, sun loungers on the beach ...Everything was super! There are already few people, but still quite enough for a cheerful society.

The rooms are equipped with everything down to the safe. In addition to bathrobes and slippers, cosmetics are updated every day - shower gels, shampoos, body lotions, shaving foam and a razor. And all cosmetics based on orange, to match the name of the hotel.

Every public restroom in the hotel has disposable toilet seat pads, fresh fluffy hand towels, and is clean and smells like, sorry, only McDonald's.

Entertainment and sports

This is where the fun begins! I'm always afraid of the buffet. I'm losing my temper, I'm losing my temper))) Here my dietary preferences go to hell and the measure knows no bounds.

I want to try this and that and other desserts of different types are crazy. But I'll talk about food a little later. So, in order to work out what you eat for lunch, you have to work hard. And in this hotel there were a hundred options to improve your figure and have a great time. Starting with morning gymnastics in the fresh air right on the stage, ending with intense evening step aerobics. I went to everything possible. Unless she rode on a parachute (or what is it correctly called there? ) Darts, bocha, tennis, kayaks, indoor indoor pool, hammam and sauna - all free of charge.

In addition to entertainment on site, we rented bicycles a couple of times as a family. Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide such a service and had to apply for a rental on the street. Unfortunately, not all bikes are in good condition.
We had to choose the right bikes for a long time, and then return two of them - one part fell out, the other one had a flat tire. But later we studied the options and found other places - the rental is more expensive there, but the bikes are excellent.

Then we also rented mopeds (again, I don’t know the terminology and don’t know how to call them correctly) - you sit on the seat, press the button and drive on the machine. At first you feel like an invalid in a chair, but when you master the unit, you can reach speeds of up to 60 km / h. It’s not very convenient to rush around the city because of the curbs, so then we switched to the roadway and drove along with the car. True, the police looked at us with apprehension, but no one said anything. Is it possible to drive them on the highway - I did not even find out. Common sense, of course, says no, but no one could stop my excitement (except for the wind in my ears).

Having driven a couple of times around the city, we decided to explore the surroundings.
Last time we were in the bay, we saw plenty of yachts, visited a small museum of everyday life on the mountain, so this time we went to other places. It was interesting to walk around the local village, to look not at the licked-out hotel territories, but at real life. Pomegranates, oranges, lemons, tangerines, dates and other goodies growing in their gardens haunted me. Just like that, delicious pomegranates hang, fall, rot? ! We came across a small cemetery. Many graves of children with the date of birth from death on the same day. There are practically no old people over 80. So much for Eastern longevity...Flowers grow everywhere in the cemetery, there are benches, and there are many sources of drinking water.

If you leave the hotel and drive (or walk) to the right along the coast, you come across an interesting place on the way, where ships of various models are wintered, they are cleaned, repaired, and so on.
And in some, standing on the ground, they just live.

We devoted one of the days to the recently opened Olympos Teleferik cable car. Boarding the bus in Kemer, after 15 minutes we arrived right at the foot of the cable car. Further along the winding mountain road on a special bus past wild sheep to the top. Then, with a group of Germans, they sat in the cable car. Feelings indescribable! From the terrible height, the swaying of the car at the joints, but it's worth it! At the very top, we were dropped off and we could walk in a free schedule, eat ice cream at an altitude of 2 thousand meters, dine in a restaurant, and buy souvenirs. 40 ye per person for an indescribably beautiful flight over the abyss. The faint of heart is best left at home : )

We were lucky - during our stay Republic Day was celebrated: the city was decorated with flags, portraits of rulers, and in the evening there was a concert and fireworks.
These are not homegrown animators, but real pro-artists.

Food, food, food

N, and now to the most interesting)) Buffet! I don’t know how it was at the height of the season, but during our autumn stay, everyone and everything was enough. And with excess. After reading some reviews on the hotel, they say, there is not enough food, you have to run to take tables, you have to grab the most delicious, otherwise there will be nothing left and so on ...I don’t know, friends, why are we, Russian speakers (namely, most negative reviews) always and everything is not enough? ! There was more than enough food! If we consider fried chicken and meatballs to be the most delicious, then it was these dishes that scattered in a second. But with my strange love for wheat grains in yogurt, milk scrambled eggs, arugula, chickpeas and chocolate pudding, I was not at all afraid for the snapping of these dishes)) They were always safe and sound.

The table, in my opinion, is organized quite correctly.

If you want more carbohydrates - please! If you are not satisfied - and for you there are suitable dishes. If you're on a meat-free diet, lots of vegetables! And if you want to get better and fill up with endorphins - fresh buns and sweet desserts. Water and drinks in any quantity (this is "ultra all inclusive! " do not forget about it! ) and always at hand. Evening meals were accompanied by helpful waiters, and free wine on every table - white or red - you decide. You can bask in the restaurant, you can stay outside near the pool. Tired of the buffet? There is an Italian restaurant and sushi in an oriental restaurant on the beach. So I would be biased towards other people's reviews on different sites about food in this hotel. Maybe they really have Michelin chefs in Kukuyevo, and against their background, Turkish cuisine is full of atstoy, I don’t know, I haven’t been to Russian villages. But I liked the kitchen of the hotel.
And what can we say about the fastidious seven-year-old son, who even began to go for the supplement! This is at a time when it is very difficult to feed him at home and cram something hearty and healthy! Fresh air, sea and walks play out the appetite in earnest.

As for baby food, there are no problems with this either (however, why should they be? ): the children's table is decorated in the form of a train, there are funny Malyshov plates, high chairs, purees and soups. Well, Coca-Cola in an immense amount for older children. As for alcohol, I'm not an expert here. Satisfied with drinks in my room. So I won't say anything good about the taste and quality of all-inclusive drinks. But ayran and water can be taken in refrigerators along the entire hotel and on the beach for free and in any quantity.

Special conditions

This hotel has all the conditions for the stay of people with special needs. Rooms on the ground floor are wheelchair accessible.
Seats that are comfortable for chairs to travel in the restaurant are marked with a special icon. Places on the beach and the most comfortable sunbeds are also marked with signs. However, this did not prevent some of our fellow citizens from pretending to be disabled and spreading their bodies on these convenient places. From the entrance to the hotel to the pier on the shore - everywhere you can easily drive in a wheelchair, and, accordingly, with a baby carriage. Cabins for the disabled are available in all public toilets of the hotel. It was nice to see that the disabled (and there were 3-4 of all the guests) eat in the restaurant, drive to the pier, sunbathe under the awnings. In Minsk, you will never see a person in a wheelchair in any park or restaurant...

The only thing that overshadowed us was the low speed of the Internet. It was vital to us for working moments. So I had to forget about calls via Skype, sites were not loaded, mail was not checked ...

In those rare moments of a successful breakthrough into the global network, we were incredibly happy. Rest rest, and no one canceled work.
