Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For families with children
My friends and I have been vacationing together for several years. We choose Turkey for the second time. Each of us (and these are 5 adults) have our own preferences and wishes. Last summer we had a very good rest in the hotel of Alanya next to Ozkaymak Incekum (the view impressed us - stunningly. We wanted to see the beauty of nature in Kemer this year. And we decided that there is only one Ozkaymak hotel chain, the description and photo of the hotel seduced all five, impressively negative We did not find any reviews on the hotel and flew with international airlines. Probably, if you are in Turkey for the first time, you have nothing to compare with, then the hotel in your eyes is 5 *, but for all of us at first it was disappointment, and then we just got used to it and we didn’t get hung up on trifles (although you can’t call the beach a trifle. Pros: 1. for $ 10 and a bottle of Khortytsya we were settled in two adjacent rooms overlooking a wonderful noisy pool with a magnificent fountain (coincides with the photo on the site until one in the afternoon. 2 The food is good, everyone can find a lot of food to their taste, the service in the restaurant is excellent, polite, clean. It was good to drink ayran in the snack bar (for lovers). There is enough alcohol (our husbands had more than enough). There are no "La carte" restaurants in Ozkaymak. 3. Daily animation (while our boys were playing darts, water polo, water volleyball, we enjoyed jumping in the water aerobics pool with Julia, participated in relay games, learned to dance with Levantes) 4. Noisy pool with a fountain and slides. 5. Everything. MINUSES: 1. Although the sea is always a joy, but the Ozkaymak beach is something terrible (why pay that kind of money, such a beach can be found near Odessa): there is no toilet, there is only one shower for everyone to see, we don’t have a changing cabin immediately identified, and then "very happy", hanging things on huge rusty nails), the bar is a small kiosk with a set of all kinds of UPI, coffee and tea - no snacks or alcohol. For our men, it was important to have volleyball on the beach, but alas, we were deceived. 3. no evening animation - boring. 4. bed and towels somewhere torn, somewhere faded; no cleaning (even for a van dollar, shampoo and soap are added on request. 5. At the hotel from Pegasus, the terrible guide Ramis hates tourists, makes fun of Eastern Soviet people and is rude.
The city is very nice - beautiful nature, wonderful parks, many shops - you want everything. From the hotel we were taken to a leather store (Angel) - very, very expensive. My advice: before visiting the site, I read reviews about the SAKHALIN leather store (next to the PIRATE restaurant). You won't regret it - the owner Ermi is a wonderful person - you can't help but make friends with him. If you visit him, say hello from Sveta and Igor from Kyiv. The five of us bought 7 jackets in this store (even for 150 USD).
The quality of things is good. (Although in Kyiv, we had to pay extra for "extra" jackets at the customs - you can only import one leather jacket per person through the green corridor. In general, we had a good rest, left with impressions, but Kemer hotels do not appeal to us yet. Their price is even higher than in Alanya, and the advantage is in the beauty of nature. Even the staff says that luxury hotels in Alanya. I think that everywhere there are pros and cons. We wish you a good rest. I will try to put a photo.
