As soon as I arrived at "La sigale club Akdeniz" and approached the reception, I sadly realized that this hotel was far from what I expected to see in Turkey, the tour operator simply deceived us. For what I saw here, I didn’t have to go so far, I could see all this in Russia. According to last year's experience, I expected to see the cleanest sidewalks, which are washed in the early morning, when the hotel is still sleeping, a well-groomed territory, a beautiful cozy hall with good air conditioning .... and everywhere the sweetish aroma of something truly Turkish .... and, of course, well-trained helpful staff .... No, there was nothing like that in "La sigale club Akdeniz" .... Average hotel in a state of disrepair, long in need of repair . And all around - only Turks .... It's just that since the Turks let their people to rest in hotels, no one wants to go there. Why?
Not at all because of nationalism, but because it is unlikely that anyone will like it if, for example, a Turkish woman calmly tastes a dish with a common spoon at a buffet table (if she likes it, she puts it on herself, if she doesn’t like it, she moves on), and they come with whole noisy families with almost babies.... the noise is unbelievable, almost knock you off your feet in what I would call a simple dining room until we discovered the third floor of the restaurant (on the tip of our new friends)... for the sake of truth I will say that we had a rather pleasant dinner on the 3rd floor on the veranda, and the view from there is beautiful - the sea ... In general, Akdeniz has all the prerequisites to be an excellent hotel, if only we make a good overhaul there, take care of the plantings on the territory more carefully, install benches, etc…. . , install TVs and refrigerators in the rooms and train the staff so that they work, and do not stand with their hands on their hips… because
has 2 advantages: the presence of large trees on the territory (you yourself know how long it will take until such palm trees grow in a new hotel) and the presence of a beach on the territory of the hotel. The choice of dishes in the restaurant is very meager, 3 times less than in the hotel where I was last year, also 3 *, by the way, and in the bar during the day - only drinks ... no snacks, cakes and some other goodies, like in other hotels. The water supply there is constantly being repaired, so interruptions from the mountains. water .... in the first few days, we thought that it was not there at all, it was just not quite icy water pouring out of the shower and wash as you like ... We got the room, fortunately, not on the 1st floor, so damp was not ... and quite comfortable ....

but the window to the children's pool, where during the day the noise and din does not stop (and we are used to relaxing during the dangerous hours of the sun in the room), in addition, it looked towards the night disco and my sister could not sleep until 2 o'clock in the morning until everything was over , the music didn’t play there, but just knocked you off your feet ... (usually in hotels, discos are arranged in the basement so as not to disturb anyone’s sleep, but here no one took care of it). The beach is on the territory of the hotel, which is of course a plus .... but it is in such a state (! ) Only cups are cleaned on the beach, all the rest of the garbage accumulates in the sand .... despite the fact that in some places there are pots for cigarette butts, it is not enough whoever uses them, cigarette butts are extinguished right in the sand, where they are left ... I'm afraid that soon 50% of the sand there will be filled with cigarette butts. There are not enough sun loungers for everyone, you need to take a place under the sun (under the fungus) from 6.30 in the morning, and then run to fill up .... I saw how the water in the pool is chlorinated ...
it's just some ancient old-fashioned method: they come up with a bucket of bleach, throw it into the pool and then stir the water with a stick .... go ahead and carry out this procedure in several places. M... yes... where is the water circulation?
The animation in the hotel is all in Turkish… so for us it's like it's not there.
Our host company was the travel agency "ZEN", and the guide was Alla. Unfortunately, I won’t say anything pleasant about her .... she is a person completely immersed in some of her problems and worries and completely unaware of promises and unable to simply and clearly talk about how, for example, to get to the store I’m interested in , to auction. center .... so confusing, explaining the road, that you don’t dare to go anywhere .... we received all the information we were interested in from vacationers like ourselves .... by accident ... and then we wondered why Alla didn’t tell us about what is so easy to find.
In addition, if you signed up for a tour with her and paid money, it will not necessarily be organized. Alla can simply mix up everything in the world and send the wrong bus at all ... this happened to my friends. As a result - the tears of a child, vain early fees, lost time, spoiled mood. This could be expected only from excursion vendors on the street, but not from the host company. And excursions in "ZEN" are more expensive than in other firms.
For me, unfortunately, the rest in this hotel was a waste of time and money.
