I will say right away that I have never been to Turkey before, for the last 7 years for a summer beach holiday with the aim of just lying on the beach they chose Montenegro or Croatia, and then they decided to make a difference...
The trip was not planned, my husband accidentally had a week of vacation. We went with Tez-Tour on a last-minute tour, 7 nights (and 7 days, because check-out from the hotel at 6 am due to an early flight), $ 620 for two.
The hotel itself: located on the mountain, the rooms are large, all with a beautiful view of the Bird Island, the ceilings are high, the balcony is large, the furniture and plumbing in the room is old, but renovated. The hotel is quite clean, there were few tourists from the CIS, mostly British. Fed in principle edible (not poisoned). Once a day they gave either chicken or fish. There was no meat at all, only soy in various forms, which we do not eat on principle. Desserts are not bad, scrambled eggs or pancakes are fried in the morning. From fruits - only watermelon. Staff - only one employee understands Russian, all the rest only speak English.

We went on excursions to Pamukkale and Ephesus (with a visit to the house of the Virgin Mary). Excursions were bought on the street, the cost is almost 2 times cheaper than that of Tez-Tour. There are no complaints about excursions.
Beach. If you are told that the beach near the hotel is free and vacationers will be taken there by buses - DON'T BELIEVE!!!!!! ! This is a lie. THERE IS NO BEACH IN THIS HOTEL. Where to look for a beach is a headache for vacationers themselves. You can either go to a paid beach by public transport, or walk to a free beach (this is if you have a great desire to swim in the mud and sunbathe while lying on a pile of garbage). We mostly sunbathed and swam in the pool, like most of the guests of this hotel. Near the pool is quite normal, you can even sit in the shade of pomegranate or lemon trees.
Conclusion: if you have a choice to spend a week of vacation at home or in this hotel, provided that the ticket will cost around $ 300 per person (like ours), then feel free to choose the latter option. But, if the ticket will cost more, and even more so if it will be the only summer vacation of the year for you, think a million times before going there. If it weren’t for 2 weeks in August in Montenegro, we would of course be upset from such a vacation in Turkey, but it’s quite normal, it’s still better than spending a week in Kyiv.
