Liked the hotel. Rooms - everything is clean, new furniture, plumbing, soft and quiet air conditioning, everything works fine. Hot water always and in any quantity. Everything is thought out in the room - the necessary furniture, sockets, lighting, the TV with a large flat screen has a USB port for a flash drive.

Meals - the whole day (and breakfast, and late breakfast, and snacks, and dinner, and late dinner : )). Plenty, delicious, varied. Fish, meat, salads, sweets - they try very hard and it turns out delicious. Very tasty ice cream, although I'm not a fan, but I really liked it here.

Food and rooms are not worse (and somewhere better) than in Turkish 5 *, which I have been to before.

The attitude of the staff and service is excellent! From the receptionist to the maid everything is perfect. We settled before 12, were allowed to stay later for free, we had a late check-out - we enjoyed all the benefits of the hotel until the end. So what if the staff doesn't speak Russian? ? : ) they shouldn't.
They speak English well enough for understanding. Even a teenage child solved all his questions on his own in English.

Drinking water is available all day long. Yes, they give 1 and a half liter bottle to the room upon check-in. But then you can unlimitedly dial it in a restaurant as many times a day as you need. For some, it may be inconvenient, but from an environmental point of view, this is how much less plastic is consumed. I prefer this approach.

And around the beach, the city, and the city itself - well, very beautiful. Mountains, sea, sunsets...a delight for the eyes.

From what I didn't like. Or what you need to be prepared for.
Julian Marmaris is a city hotel, i. e. it is small (except for the hotel itself, the pool, the sunbeds around it and the pool bar there is nothing. With small children after 3-4 years old who need some kind of entertainment, there is no Well, adults who want to be entertained also have nothing to do there. There is no animation, no territory.
The sea is 200 meters away. But the beach is dirty, gray and narrow. The hotel does not have its own beach with sun loungers. Therefore, either take paid / for a drink sun loungers ($ 2-3 per one), or be placed on a bedding on the sand next to the sunbeds. The difficulty is that there are very few places next to the sunbeds. And there are a lot of sunbeds, and they are all located very close to each other. In general, there are a lot of people in Marmaris. We were in October, it's not really a season anymore, but there are a lot of people. It's scary to imagine how it is in June-July, when there are more people. Marmaris is a hotel city. It seemed to me that 90% of all buildings are recreational. Therefore, there are crowds of vacationers, and the beach is not very spacious. Even though it's long.

The water is clean. But the area near the coast - no.

Another disadvantage I attribute is that most of the hotel rooms overlook a large and noisy road. Even if you close the window-balcony, it is still noisy to sleep at night.
Residents of the rooms that face the alley may not hear the noise from the road as much, but they enjoy a concert in the Irish pub opposite the hotel until 12 at night. In short, noisy everywhere, you need to be prepared for this.

In general, I liked the hotel. Rest too. I took off two stars for the location of the hotel near the road and the lack of a beach.

But I won’t go to Marmaris anymore, the sea is not mine there and it’s very noisy.
