My husband and I rested from June 14 to June 24.2011. The hotel was chosen for a long time and carefully, having previously reviewed all the reviews and ratings on the Internet. Among the many hotels in Icmeler, AQUA immediately somehow sunk into our souls and in the end we decided to opt for it, which we never regretted in 10 days of rest. We went with the operator Intourist, but more on that later, first about the good. Check-in at the hotel went very quickly and surprisingly without any delays and tedious expectations, despite the fact that the usual check-in time for the room is 14.00, arriving at 11.00 we already unpacked our suitcases and admired the view in 5 minutes after registering at the reception from the window of the 2nd floor to the patio and the sea. We got a very decent room with everything you need: a refrigerator with a free minibar, a hairdryer, slippers and even such little things as soap, shampoo, cotton pads and caps, we were pleasantly surprised, going for 5 * is probably the norm. The staff is very friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The cuisine is beyond all praise, we have never seen such a buffet either in Turkey or Egypt, a separate “BRAVO” to the confectioners-sweets that we were served for dinner personally gave me great pleasure. There was always a huge selection of fruits (strawberries, cherries, watermelons, melons, grapefruit, apples, peaches, apricots) and incomparable ice cream. The hotel has its own beach, very clean and spacious, we usually came at 10.00-10.30 and there were always sunbeds in the second row, so we never sunbathed in the outskirts. True, the sea was wildly upset, in June the water in it is simply icy, and do not believe those who say that it is cool or refreshing, it is really very cold +21, even after the pool such a temperature difference is very annoying, until the end of the holiday we never went to it got used to it, swam often but for 10-15 minutes, the body could not stand longer despite the heat. There is no animation at the hotel, the animators either sunbathed on the beach with tourists, then played tennis, and only in the evening tried to entertain the foreign audience. By the way, at the expense of the public: the hotel is very calm (in the early days it resembles a nursing home), mostly British and Germans from 50 and older, there were few Russians, only by the end of the holiday the contingent in the hotel was slightly diluted with native compatriots. As for the excursions: we were on the island of Cleopatra and rafting, I liked it, if you go to Cleopatra, then don’t go around the island, but immediately head to the beach and swim in the sea - save an hour of time killed by walking around an unremarkable island. Rafting is also a good entertainment, only this year the water level in Dalaman has risen and we have not received much drive. Intourist service is a separate conversation, but I won’t waste your time much, I’ll just say one thing: you can go with him as with a tour operator to save a couple of hundred dollars. i. e. , but it is better to take an excursion on the street, it will be just as bad as that of Intourist, only 2 times cheaper
