my son loves windsurfing on vacation, the description of the hotel indicated its availability for a fee among other water sports, which determined our choice. When we arrived, a strong disappointment awaited us - there were no water sports at all, even a banal parachute over the sea. We arrived in the morning at 9.30, gave the documents to the reception and went to breakfast. They settled us somewhere after 11 o'clock (they did not wait for the check-in time at 14.00) and then they settled us last, because we did not sit and wait at the reception, but went to the sea to swim. As already mentioned - the hotel is located on ledges on the mountain, our room is on the very last (upper) ledge. The room is standard, fortunately we didn’t have any special problems, except for one lamp that didn’t work. The hotel staff and administration are in no hurry to fix the problems (our lamps were repaired), but at least the air conditioner worked, albeit with the last of its strength, we are very glad that it did not break down before our departure, although such intentions were clearly visible from him. Getting it repaired or replaced is extremely problematic. Two ladies came with us, they came across a room with a broken air conditioner, for 2 days they tried to solve the problem, at least with some difficulty, with the active help of the Pegasus guide, by the evening of the second day they were finally moved to another room. Against this background, we did not even begin to actively demand that the lamp be repaired, we managed alone. The rooms were cleaned 4 times for the whole time - 2 times on the first days of arrival and 2 days of the last - they carried garbage on the floor of the room and bath with a wet rag and that's all - the toilet bowl, the sink was not washed during the entire stay. the bed was not changed, the towels were not changed either, they just gave two sets. But this has already been written in the reviews and we were ready for this. Worse, it turned out that the restaurant often had poorly washed dishes - and several plates in a row were obviously poorly washed at once - it was very annoying. The kitchen is poor, without frills, just so as not to be hungry, there is no diversity. I can’t write anything about animation, we didn’t go anywhere, but the girl’s animators actively invited everyone. When we were bath-hammam did not work, because someone was on vacation. The hotel is half full, and in this we were lucky, because the number of sunbeds on the beach by the sea is clearly not enough for everyone when the hotel is full, sunbeds by the pool are also not enough when the hotel is fully loaded
Of the benefits - silence, air and pine trees, clean warm sea, convenient entry into the sea, calm measured rest. The arrangement of the rooms in tiers and everyday descent and ascent several times is very useful as a physical activity, especially on vacation - you don’t have to bother with exercises, etc. - you get up and down from the room at the very top - better than any exercise and does not allow you to gain excess weight. Personally, I also attributed extremely mediocre cuisine to the pluses - you only eat to satisfy your hunger to a minimum - you don’t overeat like in many hotels in Turkey, where there are a lot of delicious and varied things, you want to try everything and as a result extra pounds, here it doesn’t threaten you - try and nothing to eat. It is also a plus that it is easy to get to the house of the center of Marmaris - every half an hour a local minibus (dolmush) runs and for 3.25 lira brings to the center, where the central big bazaar near the old fortress, many restaurants, singing fountains.
Rest in this hotel is unpretentious, calm, measured, but the price is clearly too high
