So, on the first flight to Dalaman, on 04/27/13, we arrived at the San Maris Hotel at 11 pm.
Upon arrival, a plate of fruit, a welcome letter and gerberas were waiting for us in the room.
Room 102, on the first alley, first floor. We went into a crypt: it was damp and cold. And this is understandable, no one lived in it all winter. Warm blankets were waiting for us, and fatigue took its toll, the night passed unnoticed. The next day air conditioning at +30 and the open door to the balcony warmed the room, but the floor was cold for a long time. All the houses are built in such a way that the windows face the north side and are surrounded by greenery, so it will be cool in the summer, I advise you to ask for blankets at the reception for special cold people.
Well, whoever is allergic to dampness is categorically not your option, this is the peculiarity of all summer houses, it is better to live in a multi-storey hotel.

The houses are located in 3-4 alleys, parallel to the sea. At the very top there is a free tennis court, we used our rackets. The area is very green, but there are many ladders and climbs.
We had an adult woman cleaning + a dollar / day for cleaning from us, there were no problems with clean towels, linen and cleanliness.
For accommodation -3. Although those who lived on 2 floors were happy with everything.
Food-5. Everything suited us: a lot of greens, raw vegetables, boiled vegetables, fish, chicken every day and meat (beef) every other day, well, soy was (where would it be without it in Turkey), desserts are monotonous, but a lot, side dishes of 3-4 types. For breakfast, the chef makes scrambled eggs with what you point your finger at, in general, everything was fine.
Service -4. Unobtrusive service, but what you ask, everyone tries to fulfill. There is no animation as such, but the hotel was half full. This year there is a Russian-speaking guy from Kazakhstan. All the staff speaks English, only a few phrases in Russian, for us it was a plus, a little language practice. But those who categorically want to hear only their native speech are not here.
At 23.00 to 03.00 - a free bus to the disco. The animators conscientiously gather everyone along Bar Street to take them to the hotel. We used the free bus before going to the center of Marmaris. It happens at 10.00. And so there are minibuses every 10 minutes (3.25 lira).
Well, the main thing is the sea. We swam from the very first day (April 28). The water temperature is 20-21 degrees. If anyone was in Anapa, the water is like in the Anapa Sea in June.
The contingent of residents is diverse, but mostly Russians and British. Everyone behaved well, benevolently. (According to the stories of guides in other hotels with our behavior, we had problems, up to fines).
I recommend the hotel for any age who leads an active, sporty lifestyle, who wants to relax during the day, breathe fresh air, enjoy the silence, well, in the evening, to each his own.
I do not recommend with children in strollers.
