Greetings! I returned three days ago from this hotel, I hasten to add my impressions.

I chose the hotel based on numerous positive reviews, and I must say right away that I was not mistaken.

Arrived at the hotel at 2 am, immediately gave the key. Room on the fourth floor (highest). When I entered the proposed room, then, to put it mildly, all the positive reviews about the hotel turned into one hopeless nothing for me. Once, about ten years ago, I traveled to our south, and somehow in Anapa I had a chance to re-contact for several days in a kind of chicken coop, hastily converted into living quarters. So - I immediately remembered that wonderful number. I traveled alone and they gave me a single room. The room is 2*2 meters, no windows, no doors, such a stone bag, there is a bed, and there is more space, there is practically nothing left. A narrow door led to a balcony, just as miniature. There was a chair and it was simply unrealistic to place anything more there.

From the balcony on the left, the view opened onto the road, on the right, the wall of the hotel, and in the middle, a narrow strip of the sea. It's called seaside view. In addition to despondency, the number did not cause anything. Went straight to reception. I explained to the guy that this does not suit me and I need a double room with a good view from the window. I was very pleased that there were no problems - for 20 bucks I got a new room, unlike the previous one. The room itself is gorgeous and what I dreamed of - the sea from the window, as promised, a very comfortable bath, smoothly turning into a bench, a hairdryer, air conditioning, two beds and a soft ottoman. A huge plus - there is a refrigerator in the room - it always works, even when you pull out the key. There was only one, but, alas, a very tangible minus, because of which, as if I didn’t want to, I didn’t put 5 - there is no remote control for the air conditioner in the room. If you need something warmer or colder, you are welcome to ask at the reception. You understand - you are not.
In principle - the only negative that I can say about the hotel. Moreover, there was no safe in the room - only at the reception. 25 greens per stay. From the outside, the hotel seems to be unpretentious and unremarkable, but inside it is quite beautiful. Itself in five meters from the sea - therefore for placing I will put 4.5 points. Very good.

The food is nothing to complain about. Took half board - and quite enough breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is full of muesli, cereals, chocolate balls under cold milk - for every taste. Tea, coffee, yuppies, watermelons, very good yoghurts, right in front of you, to your order, they will fry eggs or scrambled eggs, ham. Dinner - well, here in general - soups, meat, fish, liver, side dishes, salads, vegetables, fruits, sweets - you just arrange a feast for yourself every evening. The head waiter greets everyone in Russian, and speaks Russian quite well, he can help, if anything. 30-40 percent of the staff speaks Russian. But it's better to speak English. It's easier.
I can’t say anything about alcohol in the hotel - it was, and not very expensive, but I’m a non-drinker.

Service - once again satisfied with everything. Doesn't stress. If you need anything - they will help, prompt, call, wake up, support the conversation. I don’t know if anyone at the reception speaks Russian, I didn’t find out. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed every day, soap and shampoo were periodically added, garbage was taken out, the bed was made - no swans, but I don’t need it. Here I am satisfied with everything, and I would like to say - people, don’t be rednecks - leave 1-2 lira to the cleaners every day, you won’t lose money, but it’s nice for a person. I just recognized a couple of compatriots - we, they say, fundamentally do not give tips for cleaning. What is the principle here - I can not say. Still, not the Russian south. If we get a civilized service, then let's also behave in a civilized way.

People in the hotel, in cafes and restaurants are all very polite, smiling, they will always come up - they will ask if you liked the treat or not, wish you a good day - they do their job well and quickly - 10-15% of the amount for tea is not ruinous and very good tone. Well, it's just a wish.

In short about Marmaris - in Turkey for the first time - everything is great. Landscapes are crazy. Beautiful bays, transparent sea, many mountains, and they are all in the trees. I was in Cyprus last year - and so everything there reminded me of our former native Central Asia - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan - hills, sand, bushes. In Turkey, although they are not much further north, the landscape is already like in the Crimea. If you are a mountain lover, it's just heaven. They scared with snakes, but if you are careful, everything will work out. Just be sure to take special gloves - the stones are sharp. On the first day I went with my bare hands - there I quickly cut into the blood. Gloves are ok.
There is an abandoned hotel 4 kilometers from Marmaris, behind Icmeler - a must-see for fans of post-apocalyptic history. Several abandoned buildings. But be careful - the gathering place of local hooligans, the place is deserted and far from the city, the police almost never appear here. If anything, there will be no one to help. You may not run into anyone, but the risk is big, think carefully and it’s still better not to go here with a girl.

The beaches are clean and there are practically no hedgehogs, you will swim in wild places - there are already there, but not much. Be sure to roll up the islands on Egeisik - picturesque places, especially the island "Dragon's Teeth". There is nothing but sharp rocks - it is difficult to climb, but if you can, you will feel like a spider-man, and the view from there is good.

Another water park in Marmaris is quite a suitable and fun place, many slides and a gorgeous view from the mountain.

Nightlife is in full swing here. The promenade of Marmaris itself, the street of bars - you will find whatever you want.

Lots of girls alone, no guys. Many Russian, Ukrainian, English women. Pimps come up too, offering "eighteen hot pussies". Here the flag is in hand, as you wish. With your girlfriend, or newlyweds, there is also paradise here - Marmaris is a chic place in every sense.

A couple of tips - money in the hotel - of course, do not change - the rate is greatly underestimated. It is best to change in the center of Marmaris - this stop is called by minibuses - on the embankment, near the central monument to Ataturk. There is an adequate course and WITHOUT commission! If you change in the change centers in the city - do not look at a good rate - they will rip off the commission, it will turn out like in a hotel in the end. Dollars - euros - no matter what to take. They change everything, even change rubles everywhere. 20 rubles per lira. And you still need to change money. They wrote here that they didn’t see lire, everything was in bucks - I don’t know - everything was in lira - minibuses, water-food in shops, orders in cafes and restaurants.
At the expense of the Russian language - it is sometimes found there, but still in its infancy - it is better to learn a little English, for normal communication.

Be sure to go to one of the many sports bars and cheer for some team along with the British, who are very numerous in such places - if you, of course, are a football fan. I was lucky - I watched the Premier League Super Cup - the English are just obsessed with football - it was great to join their environment. The memory is vivid.

In general, I give the Hotel and Marmaris a solid five! Everything was on the level and good luck to them and prosperity!
