Hotel ratings by criteria:
We rested at the Grand Cettia Marmaris Turkey. There were very depressing impressions about the hotel, especially since there is something to compare with, namely, what did not suit us:
2. The hotel is not a second coastline hotel, the hotel does not have any coastline at all.
3. The nearest normal city free beach is about 40-45 minutes walk at an average pace. The nearest city beach is 30-35 minutes walk with an average step, and the beach is paid - 4 YTL per person, the beach is dirty, very short and narrow, the sunbeds are completely butted, you can only go along one path between the rows of sunbeds on the left and right set to each other in butt. The beach has a nickname - "puddle" because of its pollution. Please note that the return road from the city beach goes constantly uphill, albeit not very noticeable for a pedestrian, also note that the roads are very confusing in the city and you may not remember it the first time.

4. The hotel rents two beaches, one in the Icmeler area, about 6-8 km from the hotel, the second beach opposite the city of Marmaris on the east side is Green Beach, about 15-20 km from the city, and you need to cross the entire city of Marmaris along narrow streets from traffic lights. The beach in the Icmeler area is more developed and larger, has water sports, the trip to the beach takes only 7 to 10 minutes. Green Beach is small and boring, except for sunbeds on the beach there is nothing else. There are no volleyball, football, other non-water sports on both beaches.
5. There are problems with the delivery of vacationers to the beach in the Icmeler area, usually in the morning to the beach and in the evening from the beach vacationers were delivered by beach buses, for lunch and from lunch the Grand Cettia hotel bus. So, the beach buses were constantly late in the morning, they might not have arrived at all, the return trip from the beach might not have taken place at all, or the wait was delayed, since the beach bus served several hotels, and if there were a lot of vacationing people, then you had to wait for the second or even the third bus flight. People were taken to Green Beach in the morning and returned in the evening, they didn’t take buses from the beach for lunch, if you wanted to eat, you had to eat for a fee at a beach restaurant, about 10 - 20 YTL per person or more.
6. Not comfortable with buses due to the fact that vacationers are strictly tied to buses according to the schedule, and if you miss the bus, then either you don’t get to the beach in the morning, or you get tired from the beach in the evening on your own. We figuratively called the morning and afternoon trip to the beach - going to "work". Like a daily trip to and from work with a lunch break.
12. It was on the part of the waiters and generally boorish behavior and attitude towards Russian tourists, having memorized a few very obscene and obscene words, (for example, fucked... ) the waiters approached Russian tables and companies, including women's companies and poured these words are in the ears of Russian women, and no one asked the waiters to do this. (Would you like it? )
13. The attitude towards Russian tourists in the hotel on the part of the waiters and hotel staff was much worse than towards tourists from bourgeois countries. Drinks in the bar were poured with a long delay after the request, or the bartenders pretended that they had not heard anything.

14. The dishes in the hotel are washed very badly, very badly, very dirty glasses, glasses with tubes inside, just not washed glasses, got out many times. I would say and compare the dishes at the Grand Cettia hotel like this, our "Russian homeless" here in Russia eat from cleaner dishes than the dishes that were in the hotel. Knives, forks were constantly dirty and greasy, the Turks did not react at all to comments about dirty dishes.
15. They repeatedly tried to slip us plastic tubes in a cocktail that were repeatedly used and, !! ! Attention, never washed.
16. On the last fifth floor of the main building of the Grand Cettia hotel, hot water flowed with very little pressure, it was almost impossible to wash.
17. Water slides in the hotel worked no more than 10 minutes at the beginning of each hour, it was not possible to ride enough from the slides, no more than 1 - 2 times.
18. Sports grounds were not used at all, as they were across the road from the main territory of the hotel and no one went there from vacationers, and it was not very convenient to go there, it was necessary to make a small detour from the main entrance of the Grand Cettia Hotel.
19. There is no animation in the hotel, we called it dead. Animation as such was not, if one of the visiting animators did not come to the hotel. The only thing is that the Turkish animator Niko tried to somehow amuse the people, but for some reason Niko did not like Russian tourists, he only loved the British.
20. The cost of the safe for 12 days ~ 45$ USD (3.75$ USD per day, normal, right? )
22!! ! Do not be afraid to contact the General Manager of the Grand Cettia Hotel with your requests and complaints (fortunately, the General Manager of the hotel is one of the entire staff who knows Russian perfectly), we did just that after the 2nd day of our stay, after which some things and attitude to all Russian tourists in the hotel has changed for the better.
23. Hotel Grand Cettia really shade with a maximum of (3) three stars and no more.

And finally, about the hotels of Marmaris. Of all the hotels in Marmaris, it is worth relaxing only in 4 - 5 hotels of the first coastline located in the Icmeler area (a district of the city of Marmaris about 10 km from the city center), the rest of the hotels in Marmaris do not deserve attention, but these 4 - 5 -th hotels in the Icmeler area are quite expensive and prestigious and, perhaps, not everyone can afford. If you cannot go to expensive hotels in Marmaris (Icmeler), then it is better to choose a hotel in Kemer, similar in nature to Marmaris, and maybe even better. I managed to learn this on a sightseeing tour of Marmaris from a tour operator guide who has been working in this direction for a long time.
