The hotel lives up to its stars. Locals speak of it as the best in the city, and we, having climbed up and down Marmaris while walking, had the opportunity to verify this. The territory is gorgeous: a large (about 8 hectares) pine park "diluted" with flowering bushes and other exotic plants, very well maintained. The sea is clean, on all sides of the mountain. For all this beauty, you can forgive the hotel for its minor flaws. The beach at "Turban" is its own (you don't need to go out of the territory, as in most hotels in Marmaris), pebbly, quite large, there are also two piers, where there are also sun loungers and umbrellas. A little annoying is the squalor of vacationers who send messengers with towels at 7 am to take sunbeds, and they themselves come to 11 or even to dinner. As a result, there are really five people on the beach in the morning, and finding a place is a problem. Therefore, it is better to come early, at 8 o'clock.

Of course, we often hear that Marmaris hotels are significantly inferior to hotels in the "Mediterranean" part of Turkey, in particular Kemer. As a person who rested both there and there, I will express my opinion: the nature in Marmaris is much more beautiful than in the same Kemer and there are no marble floors, gilding and rooms of 50 sq. m. You can't compensate for that, IMHO. In addition, the price is also significantly different. Really luxurious "fives" of Kemer, at least 1000 USD more expensive. for two for a week. So, the "Turban", although simpler, is worth the money.
