Rested in Marmaris for the first time! The city is very beautiful, there are many foreigners. I'll tell you about the hotel: it's pointless to read the reviews of previous years, because the hotel has changed its owner, the buildings have changed. Now it is a chain of 4* and 5* hotels. We lived in the Ideal Panorama 4 * hotel. This hotel has a large area (by local standards). It is located on a hill, in the pines, from where a wonderful view opens. The main area consists of bungalows - separate two-story houses that are located on the levels. Now this hotel owns two more buildings (4 floors), which are located outside the main territory, but opposite. This is the building we lived in. The room is clean, bright, cleaned every day, no tip left. We couldn’t set up the TV, but we didn’t need it - just for the sake of sports interest. The air conditioning worked for us all day, so the room was heaven. A significant plus of our building is that it has its own swimming pool. You can go swimming in the main pool, but there are a lot of people there, and here it is quiet and grace. In addition, it is forbidden to swim in the main pool after 6 pm, but here you can splash all night long. I want to tell you about the food - it's heaven! We were fed 6 times a day, the tables were bursting from the abundance of dishes. Everything is very tasty. There are always several meat dishes. There are many desserts, but they are all very sweet. I want to try everything, every time they bring something new. There were no complaints about freshness either, the stomach was never capricious. From drinks they drank mainly water, tea, coffee. It is absolutely impossible to drink juices - these are powdered drinks. Cola, fanta - we basically do not use this. We did not try vodka, wine is not for everyone, you can drink beer. There were no complaints about the staff either, everyone was very polite, smiling. Probably due to the large number of foreigners. Of the unpleasant things on this vacation, there are only dissatisfied faces of our compatriots, moreover, of an adult and elderly age. As for recreation and entertainment: there are options for every taste. Do you want to hang out all night long on the street of bars, and sleep during the day, do you want to sit in a hotel or lie on the beach, do you want to go on excursions. We chose the 3rd option, and every day we took one excursion - they are inexpensive and interesting there. The main thing is not to take it from the officials. They will intimidate you, all grandmothers believe them. MOST IMPORTANTLY REMEMBER that your insurance is valid all the time while you are on vacation, no matter what you do: lie on the beach, ride the sea on a cheesecake or go on an excursion!! ! Official tours cost 2 times more, but in the end everyone rides the same buses / jeeps / horses / ATVs / boats. we took all the excursions from Suzanne in NO NAME, no matter how much we asked - she has the best prices. Bottom line: I really liked the city and the hotel. If we come to Marmaris again, we will definitely stay at this hotel, we will not take risks and try others.
