It was a wonderful, unforgettable 12 days in June 2018 in the beautiful city of Marmaris. You can't help but fall in love with this city! But first things first!
We rested with my daughter 14 years old, that is, she is already going for an adult) We chose a hotel for a long time. Labranda Mares was chosen for its value for money, location and reviews. The location is excellent, not far from the city center, but at the foot of the mountains, where the hotel is simply immersed in trees and flowers.
Check-in was very early at 8.00 and, accordingly, we were asked to wait until 14.00, as the rooms are not yet ready. We asked for our gratitude to check in early and after breakfast we received the keys to our room. We booked a bungalow, but we were settled in a separate wing of the main building without a sea view, the rooms were renovated there and we were quite satisfied, as it was quiet, animation and disco did not interfere, it was close to the main restaurant. Although, we were offered, if we wished, resettlement in 4 days in a bungalow. To be honest, we went to look at the numbers. The rooms are old, small, far from the main building, but with a wonderful view of the sea. They didn’t move, they were too lazy to pack things, and they got used to it already))).

Upon arrival, we knew that the hotel had only one pool and 2 small slides, poor animation and no full-fledged entry into the sea on the beach. Beach slab and 2 pontoons. It was the first time we were on such a beach. There were never free sunbeds on the slabs, we had to walk to the far pontoon to the left of the hotel, where we had to jump into the water. At first I liked it, then I got tired, I wanted a normal entry into the water, albeit on pebbles. I had to go to private, paid beaches towards the city. There you can choose a beach for every taste and desire. Prices from 15-20 liras per day, a deposit for 1 good sunbed, a full umbrella and a good entry into the sea.
The food at the hotel is very monotonous, but did not remain hungry. And no matter how paradoxical it would not be, they gave lamb almost every evening, and chicken only 2 times and in portions !! ! for all 12 days of our stay). We dined mainly on private beaches, as it was too lazy to go to the hotel, and the deposit had to be mastered))) We could not drink non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails. Guys, here you need to catch up!!!
For entertainment. Animation, as expected, was not particularly seen. Excursions from the hotel guides did not take. It is 2-2.5 times more expensive than the city ones, but in fact everyone sails on the same ship))) We took excursions from Suleiman to the Raduga Tour not far from the hotel. We went on a Jeep safari, Cleopatra Island, Aegean Islands, Glass Boat (this is a sea excursion on a ship with a transparent bottom !! ! Cool !!! ) and horseback riding. I am delighted with all excursions. We rented bicycles, drove towards Icmeler, there are wonderful city (wild) beaches, crazy views of the sea and mountains. I recommend!!!
At the end of my review, I want to share my conclusion! The hotel is not bad, promising, but there is something to work on. As in itself, not for us! Since, we ended up only sleeping there and having breakfast. Therefore, I don’t see any sense in Marmaris, in the city of contrasts, to take 5 * all inclusive, when opportunities are open for you to travel to different beaches, go to different cafes and restaurants every evening, walk along the magnificent 12 km long promenade, breathing in the purest air , filled with aromas of flowers, centuries-old eucalyptus and incredibly beautiful sea!! ! This is my paradise!! ! We will be back here many more times!! !
