We were not accommodated in the hotel we had booked. We found out about this when we arrived in Turkey. At first we were upset, but then we looked at the hotel and everything suited us. Initially, we booked a hotel outside the city, and the one in which we were settled was in the city, but we also found advantages in this, since everything (shops, restaurants) is very close, everything was convenient. The territory at the hotel was small, but I understand that in Marmaris all 3 * hotels have such territories. We are not hotel travelers, therefore we did not need a large territory, we constantly went somewhere, and the main thing for us is the location and the sea. We had a second line, but we liked it, because in those hotels that were on the first line it was noisy. Despite the fact that this is the second line, it was very close to the sea. On the territory there was a swimming pool, a slide for the child. There were no animators, but we did not need it. The food at the hotel was excellent, as for a 3 * hotel, varied, everything was fresh, no one felt bad, we liked everything, we did not pretend to be 5 *. They put us in a LUX room, although we ordered an economy one, it was probably compensation for putting us in another hotel. The room is wonderful, two-room, with a terrace. We did not even use the air conditioning, and so it was comfortable in the room, cleaned every day.
The only negative is the cleaning on the territory, it was not very clean there. You need to clean up there, of course, in a better way. Maybe because men cleaned there and did not notice any little things. Or maybe they didn’t clean up very well, because they were tired, because it was September, almost the end of the season.
In general, we liked everything, we were in Turkey for the first time, we have nothing to compare with, but the most important thing in Marmaris is Marmaris itself. It seems to me that it is simply not possible to spoil the rest there.
