We took a last minute trip for three at the beginning of August 06.08. 2019.850 Euros came out (41 Euros per person per day on the All Inclusive system with a flight Kyiv-Dalaman and transfer airport-hotel). I note right away that this is a variant of a spacious double room with a third bed. The same room, but only for two, would cost about 700 Euros (50 Euros per person per day).
Naturally, before you buy a tour, look at the reviews. I must say right away that reviews are characteristically divided into two types. Either "everything is terrible", or "their money is worth it. " So the average score is “4.5”. But this is highly biased. People who are dissatisfied with one or two, most often insignificant aspects for a holistic holiday (there is WiFi, staff), immediately give 1-2 points. People who appreciated the fact that all the necessary service was provided, but, of course, not VIP level, put down 7-9 points. This should be the assessment.

And this "four" is quite pulling for 7-8 points! Moreover, if you look at the price at which other hotels provide only breakfast and do not have such territory, animation, so many pools, then 10 can be safely set. I put 10 points only because the average current score is clearly unfair. A couple of points on top of the true rating is support for the hotel in compensating for hysterical ones and twos, when "WiFi was not given, the room was not changed, the reception was rude, the room was not cleaned, the mold is not on the cheese", etc. But, first things first !
Brief terms. The hotel is located in three multi-storey buildings on two sides of a vast territory with three large swimming pools, not counting the children's. The rooms are medium in size, tidy and equipped with every comfort. There is a spacious corridor, a mirror, a wardrobe, a refrigerator, a dressing table, a washbasin with a shower or a bathtub, a hair dryer, and a small TV.
Everything is clean and tidy, we noticed a little black mold in the bathroom here and there at the joints of the tiles. One or two walks with bleach and everything would be in order. But, apparently, they either do not know this, or they do not inspect the numbers so carefully. Repair in the Soviet nomenclature style, who remembers these times.
The doors are wooden, but crooked with patched locks, tiles are present, but Dzhamshut laid them. There are also curtains and tulle. Air conditioners stand and work, but on the south side and on the attic floors they clearly cannot cope with the abnormal heat. There is stucco molding, but the ceilings are whitewashed like in Soviet cuisine. If you go to rest "in the rooms" with a "level" and "magnifying glass", take a more expensive hotel. If you want sea, sun, mountains, wonderful views and good reliable facilities in good infrastructure, then the hotel is GREAT. The hotel has a huge lobby with tables and a bar.
The bar is open from 10-00 to 23-50. On hand give no more than two alcoholic drinks.
You can take non-alcoholic drinks as much as you can carry in glasses. But whoever wants to “get drunk” stands once more in the general queue and takes two more drinks, and so on. Cyclicity is limited only by the ability of the vestibular apparatus to stand upright. Those who fail this test are no longer served alcohol! There is rakia (anise vodka, it tastes sweetish, pleasant, good with ice! ), plain vodka (in the heat, yes, without borscht or lard, nothing at all! ), gin (it’s really a Christmas tree! ), white wine (not worth to try), red (tolerable, but could be tastier based on our experience), beer (delicious very cool beer! ), cola, sprite, mineral water, mountains of ice, several topics (coconut, cinnamon, etc. ).
They make cocktails according to their own and according to your recipes. There is only one condition - the ability to mumble the name in Russian or English or show one by one with your finger what to mix with what.
Drinking water is freely available near the bar, plain, chilled and with several nasty flavors, reminiscent of the smell of Mr. Proper. The association of sight, taste and smell gives strong confidence that the taste of "Mr. Proper" is just like that! The figure shows a lemon, cherry, orange. You can still drink orange, if that. Lemon when heated, even bringing it to your mouth is scary. But pure water is quite suitable and quenches thirst well.
There is tea and coffee. Different types of coffee and very tasty! Especially tasty coffee with the name "Mocha" (Urine). But the taste is great. It turns out that this is mocha, coffee with chocolate and milk! Nearby, to the right behind the bar, there is a huge restaurant with a terrace for two or three dozen tables. There is a little fight over the terrace. To get to it, you need to come a few minutes before the opening or half an hour before the closing of the restaurant. Breakfast from 7:30 to 10:00, Lunch from 12:00 to 13:30, dinner from 19:00 to 21:00.
At the other end of the territory, by the largest pool, a large chalet with a second lunch from 14-00 to 16-00 and afternoon cakes from 17-00 to 18-00. The middle pool has a paid bar, shops and a paid playing area with table tennis (10 lira (that's ~ 50 UAH) for 30 minutes), billiards, air hockey and a variety of slot machines. All day long, the animators tirelessly entertain the guests either with darts, or with handball, or with games in the pool and on land.
Location. There are forested mountains nearby. The sea is a 10 minute leisurely walk. The center with a singing fountain and a fortress is half an hour to the left along the embankment or the main street of Ataturk. But, it is worth swimming to the right side of the sea, where the hotels are only in one line and the sea is of perfect purity. I advise you to go along Ataturk Street to the right, right up to the branch of the blue bike path obliquely to the left to the sea, along the bike path to the end, exactly to the place where expensive hotels begin and choose the beach there.
We personally swam where the pines reach the water. There is a scattered shadow even during the day, which saves from the burning sun.
Some private beaches may be asked, but in places, especially where there are cafes and restaurants, you can stay quite comfortably. Do not swim in the direction of the center! The water there is extremely polluted. Visibility is less than a meter. We shopped there the first day. There are turtles around. There are huge ones. They are interesting to dive and watch in a mask. But after taking a sip of water, they struggled with stomach ailments for two days! Turtles are everywhere! Do not swim in dirty water, look for a clean sea. There are plenty of turtles too. Clear waters are far to the right of the hotel. Half an hour to the right and the water is clearer than the air!
Advantages.
- Huge territory, plenty of sunbeds.
- As many as three thematic pools. One for swimming, the longest. One for relaxation with backlight and smooth lines. And another one for gaming.
There is also a small children's room, in which more than one adult was seen sitting waist-deep in refreshing water under the scorching sun.
- The pools are open 24/7. You can sleep in them! Nobody will say a word! The water is clean, the pools are cleaned, probably as needed. Since the cleaning was observed once, but no dirt was seen, then, obviously, at least once a week.
- Continuous and very complete meals from 7-30 to 21-00 in different places with or without cause. There is always a large assortment of cheeses and olives, but there is so much salt that we pre-soaked the cheese in water. Traditionally, a lot of vegetables, herbs and pickles. The pickles are excellent and not over-salted like the cheeses. Several types of salads. A lot of delicious stewed, fried and boiled vegetables in different combinations with different dressings. There are always peas, rice, potatoes of several types, even breaded! There is always yogurt.
For breakfast, among other things, several types of yogurt, cold milk with four or five types of dry breakfast, milk corn every other day, pancakes. Often there was lavash with cheese and herbs. Once there was even a shawarma, but such a small shawarma.
Had tuna a few times. It was amazingly delicious. It was made fried after pickling, boiled and stewed. There were other fish too. In stewed vegetables came across both lamb and beef. There was even pepper stuffed with porridge. A dubious pleasure without meat in the filling, but, nevertheless, our dish! There has always been chicken in different forms. Pretty good selection of cakes and desserts. Consistently gorgeous watermelon and sweet orange. Apples, melons and plums were often also served. Right in the restaurant the same drinks as in the bar. In the chalet by the large pool from 14-00 to 16-00 there are always burger buns, beef cutlets, fried potatoes, well, vegetables, herbs, etc.
Once we got to the distribution of ice cream.
True, it was for some reason during dinner, and at first we were taken aback when we saw a queue from the side of the restaurant across the entire hall. We thought that the restaurant was not opened on time, but it turned out that the ice cream stalls competed with the restaurant. Not understanding why we need it before dinner, we went to a restaurant. To our surprise, after dinner, we joined the ranks of the lucky ones, having tasted ice cream on the verge of extinction. It was fun, delicious and I didn't have to stand in line.
- Attention! If you did not have time to eat something in a restaurant in the morning at lunchtime or at dinner before it closes, NO ONE WILL SAY A WORD TO YOU! You can sit and eat until you are satisfied or until you get bored! No one will DRIVE YOU! But all the dishes disappear from the racks exactly at the moment the breakfast, lunch or dinner is over. If you come for as much time as you need to collect your own food, then you are guaranteed to eat no worse than the very first visitors.
Meals are replenished even 10 minutes before the restaurant closes! GOOD FELLOWS! We have not seen such a convenient service in any hotel in Turkey! Well, yes, those who are very late for tuna or pancakes may not particularly count, but it's as lucky ...
- The most active animation capable of raising the dead! The main thing is to crawl out of the hotel into the territory. Animators entertain adults no worse than children.
- All-day (from 8-00 to 20-00) the presence of Russian-speaking representatives of TUI, able to translate any Turk from any language into understandable Russian. This is where their function is limited. They do nothing and do nothing to help. They can explain in plain language why this is so! And that's good ...Remember, if the staff sent you ...to a TUI representative, then this is not to solve your issue, this is to explain to you in an understandable language that you received a refusal!
- Mostly Russian-speaking tourists. There are "gourmets" who consider this just a disadvantage.
But, they themselves consider it a disadvantage. I am a Slav and I feel better when there are people nearby with whom I can talk in Russian or Ukrainian. Mostly guests from Russia and Ukraine, there are also Belarusians. It is easy to find a company of interest, it is easy to find out from the "old-timers" what interests you. A few foreigners behave extremely modestly and neatly, it seems that they are even ashamed of their minority. At the same time, the staff of the Russian language does not know or pretends not to know. English helps out, representatives of TUI, our Tatars (their language is close to Turkish) and those of ours who know English like not ours.
- Stunning nature in the surroundings. Beautiful islands. Beautiful bay. Around the mountains, which offer amazing panoramas. We went to the mountains. We got up behind the bus station. The views are amazing!
- Daily housekeeping.
- Far enough from the sea, especially from the clean one, where you really want to, and therefore you have to move a little, willy-nilly, which generally has a beneficial effect on the body that is tired of the constantly "everything turned on"!
- WiFi only in the lobby. Neither in the restaurant, nor in the territory, nor in the room it is not! You can take a break from the Internet, work and other things that are unnecessary on vacation, without which we are like drug addicts without drugs. But the “breaking” on the second day ends and a good rest begins. And in the evening, you can dump your impressions into the network by choosing a drink in the bar.
Disadvantages.
- The number is given once and for all. It is IMPOSSIBLE to change. Don't waste time. They don't take money! We alone managed to change, and then ten times we were stopped by those who did not succeed and asked how we were changed? Don't know!
Maybe they went to meet our polite perseverance, maybe in compensation for the approach that was not entirely correct towards us at first in response to our patience, maybe because there were two of us on a tour for three, since our son did not fly. Don't know. But! I'll give you advice. Who wants to change the number, stand at the counter and wait for others of the same. Surely, everyone is not satisfied with something different. Our first room, which overlooked the patio and the forest on the second floor, as it turned out, was very suitable for the guys who got our originally coveted room with a view of the forest on the south side! As they say, the taste and color ...But they were not lucky. They haven't been changed.
- Paid play area. For this reason, and deserted. I think at least table tennis could be made free. It is in such heat and free would not often be busy!
- Paid bath and hammam. And so not much in the heat you need to go there. So they are also paid.
- No late snacks. It gets dark at 21:00.
It gets cooler and it becomes possible to take a walk, but then there is nothing to eat. Unless, of course, in the morning or in the afternoon you do not collect supplies for the evening. - It is not possible to order a lunch box (dry ration). No boxes! Therefore, if it is impossible to eat on time or with an early departure, the day before you need to stock up like a hamster with everything you want for the future!
- No robes. Three pools (four with children) and not a single bathrobe!
- Elevator! Lifts only three adults at a time without things or two adults and two children! The embarrassment is that three of us can drive before eating, and after eating according to the “everything you need to at least try” system, only two can drive !! ! The third either waits a long time or goes on its own!
- The safe is paid and very small.
Who carries a lot of cash, put it on a card account or take a backpack, like we do (just kidding, but the safe is really small).
- Far from the sea, especially from its pure part. But for the saved 800-1000 Euros, you can ride a taxi all the time and not only at sea, but around and always!
- There is no WiFi in the rooms or on the premises. Only in the lobby. And some very limited. Many write that it does not work. This is because you need to install a VPN. Not much can be done without a VPN. So install it ahead of time. You can't download it locally.
- The stairwells in the first main building are blocked without much constructive meaning by extremely massive concrete beams, which can hit the head of citizens taller than 1.85m. True, there is a warning sign in the place of possible contact with the beam, but it does not soften the blow! It would be better to nail a pillow.
Everything is so “on” that sometimes vision fails, and an unexpected meeting with concrete “on the rise” is very tragic!
The airport! Attention! Dalaman, this is not Antalya for you, where, with a limit of 20 kg, the Turks send two suitcases of 40 kg each jokingly and without additional fees to the great chagrin of your carrier, where you can go in with a bunch of bottles of water and throw one in the trash for the sake of appearance. Here, STRONG CONTROL! More than 100 ml - in the urn! More than the prescribed weight - for a surcharge! We were spared a bottle of water and yogurt. We persuaded not to throw away Ayran a couple of times, while wandering around the terminal, approached the control and enjoyed delicious Turkish ayran, which has no equal so much that we had as many as 6 liters in our luggage!
By the way, we also recommend buying home chocolate with pistachios. We just don't have it, but it's delicious! You need to buy all this in large supermarkets (in Antalya in the Metro, in Marmaris - in Migros).
Pay attention to ground coffee. We simply do not have such a fine grinding! The most delicious KURUKAHVECI MEHMET EFEND with a mask in the form of a face with a cup at the mouth on the label.
Total. There is a place to live, there is a place to swim, there is a place to sunbathe. There is time to spend where, even without leaving the territory. Entertain. They feed for slaughter and are quite good and varied, sometimes with a twist! Nature is the most beautiful. The sea is crystal clear if you walk to the right towards Icmeler for half an hour. A bunch of excursions for every taste. Outside the hotel is also half the price, but at every turn. You can not know the language and not get it out of your mouth, they understand gestures. The price is the cheapest in the All Inclusive segment and even among hotels with only one breakfast! It is cheaper to rest only in tents, tents can be bought in the next block from 160 lira and set up anywhere in the mountains!
