If you haven't bought this tour yet, I highly recommend reading this review. If you bought it, put up with it and concentrate on relaxing in the city itself.
So, in order.
Arriving at the hotel, we immediately went nuts from their reception - a dirty, dusty reception, the staff does not even know English well. In the hall there are plastic chairs, plastic tables. Even then it became clear that you should not expect much from this hotel. But then they finished us off - there are no free rooms, we will have to live in the Samoy apartments for 2 days. We got upset. But if we knew then how bad it would be in Pineta itself, we would be furiously glad that we were allowed to live in normal conditions for at least part of the vacation.

Samoy is a nice mini-hotel (or apartments, I don't know exactly). It's all about the German family. They are very good and sympathetic people, they helped in everything, communicated friendly. The room had plasma, refrigerator, conder, shower. Everything is in fair condition. Nice balcony with a good view. When 2 days of our stay in Samoy passed, they put a piece of paper under our door in the morning - we will have to stay in it for another day, there are still no places in Pineta. We weren't upset at all.
On the same day we went to Pineta for lunch. People gathered near the stand of the TUI tour operator. They, like us, were moved to apartments and still wanted to settle in Pineta. But there was a woman from Kazan among them. She was nevertheless relocated from the apartments in Pineta. To the promo room. This is a windowless room. Basically a utility room. Her air conditioning did not work, there was no water from the shower or from the washbasin taps. TUI guides fed her "breakfasts" every day. I will tell about the guides themselves and their swine attitude below.
After three days in the apartment, we were nevertheless moved to Pineta. We fought to the last to stay in Samoy, as we heard a lot these days from tourists who lived in Pineta that the rooms there are complete slag. Unfortunately, we had to pack our bags and move.
And now, in fact, about everything in order - the hotel itself, rooms and TUI guides.
HOTEL
Surely you were also impressed by the photos of the territory. Yes, the area is really very beautiful. Large, with three pools (one deep, one 1.5 m, the third for children) and palm trees. She has no complaints.
Desserts are not at all what you would expect from AI. Looks cheap, tastes okay, but still not the same. For 7 days came across 3-4 good desserts. The rest - for an amateur.
Lunches and dinners. There is at least some meat here (chicken and, it seems, pork). There are french fries. 85% of food is tasteless. Little meat, but a lot of vegetables, rice, vermicelli. Just killed bread fried in an egg. So if you are a big food lover then this is definitely not for you.

Juices, tea, coffee. Juice is a normal UPI from childhood. Tea is a terrible chefir, with an unpleasant smell. Coffee is fine if you have time to pour yourself. Very often the staff simply covered the coffee machine. What to do in this case? Reconcile and go for coffee in the city. But even when the coffee machine was available, there were failures. For example, when clicking on milk coffee, he poured a full glass of milk, and then a full glass of coffee. Just tin.
Water is another shock. Here it is chlorinated. It feels like it was taken straight from the pool and stuffed into a cooler. It is really impossible to drink, then you want to drink it even more.
Alcohol. If you are afraid that after the alcohol evening you will be ashamed in the morning, then I have good news for you again. It is impossible to get drunk in Pineta! True, we did not set such a goal. Alcohol is wildly diluted. No whiskey, no cognac. There was beer (more or less the norm, but a weak degree), there was gin, vodka, rake. The bartenders could only make 2 types of cocktails. Forget Mojitos or Sex on the Beach, they definitely won't do it for you.
The most interesting thing is that all alcohol is served in small plastic glasses. Unless for lunch you could get beer in a glass.
ROOMS
Complete slag.
The door can break even an anorexic. The lock on the door was loose, if someone wanted to break it, then he would have no problems.
Carpets, both on the floors and in the rooms, are old and dirty.
The air conditioner is old but works fine.
Refrigerator - 50 by 50 cm, freezes very weakly.
Bed linen and bed are simple. We got the bed linen with stains. Right next to the head, under the pillow, the designer, why the heck, decided to make light switches and a socket. The socket was loose and didn't work. The switch went off every time I laid my head on the pillow. Well, why the hell is he there?
The mirror is dirty and cracked.
TV, it seems, was still broadcasting Swan Lake in 1991.18 channels, 5 of which are repetitive. In Russian - the first channel and euronews. You won't see anything in particular.
The safe is paid - $ 3 per day. We didn't take.
Bathroom - old shower, with stains in the corners. There is ventilation, but it does not work. Therefore, if you are going to Pineta with a girl, a guy with whom you still do not have a very close relationship, then it is generally better not to go. It will be ventilated for half a day.

The towels were fresh, but with stains that seem impossible to wash off.
TUI GUIDES
Yes, I understand that they have little to do with the hotel itself, but still I really want to tell you. We fell into the hands of the TUI. I read a lot of negative reviews about them, but still hoped that we would be lucky. Bad luck.
From the airport you will not be met with a smile, at the hotel you will not be met with a smile, you will never be asked if everything is fine, if everything suits you. Their only goal is to sell their expensive excursions, which cost 20-30 bucks more than the local Turks.
For 7 days we have been in contact with four representatives of the TUI. On the second day, a guide named Farkhod held a meeting with the arriving vacationers. The first thing he said - the hotel is not very good. Very encouraging. Although, of course, if he said that the hotel is chic, it would be even more strange. Farkhod (everyone called him simply Farik) promised that when we moved from the apartments to Pineta, he would do everything to get us good rooms. Allegedly, the hotel will apologize for the inconvenience. What number we ended up with, you have already read. Perhaps, by the standards of Pineta, these are really good numbers and Farik tried. But little is believed.
The only thing Farhod really tried to do was sell excursions. If you buy from them, there is a chance that they will help you with at least some problem. If you don’t buy, they will pretend that they are concerned and promise that everything will be fixed.
On the very first day after moving to Pineta, we approached him with a request to ask the staff to change the light bulb in the bathroom. Guess they replaced it?

One episode speaks best of him. 6-7 people who did not want to return to Pineta demanded that he go to the director and ask either to leave us in the apartment or to knock out really good rooms for us. In the course of an argument with a woman, he said a phrase for which, in my opinion, guides should be fired or, at least, deprived of bonuses. Aunt told him, “Well, you get money for helping us, but you work here because of our money. ” He replied, "I work for my money, not yours. " Well, or something like that. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the quote, but that was the gist of it.
There was also a dark-haired girl who repelled me with just her look. Never saw a smile on her face. Well, this is such a trifle. Although the guide, in my opinion, should be friendly. One episode speaks best about this girl. The woman who was settled in the promo room (remember, I told you at the beginning? ) On the third day, approached her. She says, they say, when she will be moved to a normal hotel, she was promised yesterday. The girl said she didn't promise anything. The woman burst into tears right in the lobby of the hotel. Only then did they find a room for her.
The third is Ramis. He looked at all our problems with a smile. Tried to joke, but we were not funny. It was obvious that he didn't care.
The fourth was a girl. I don't remember her name, but she seems to be from Russia or Ukraine. She was really imbued with our problems, but it was clear that she could not solve anything.
In general - if you got to the TUI, then do not expect help. Or, again, buy a tour from them, then at least some attention will be paid to you.
If you have already bought a tour to this hotel, then I can advise you only one thing - enjoy the city itself. Marmaris is a beautiful place, with the coolest nature. My girlfriend and I decided to disengage from the hotel, we spent 90% of the time (excluding sleep, of course) in the city.
Awesome promenade, cool sea. I highly recommend visiting Nirvana Beach (aka Aikon). You can get there by minibus or walk on foot (30-35 minutes). Walking is best, you will see how beautiful nature is.
In the evening, go to Bar Street. Movement is unreal. Very fun, very beautiful. Cafes, bars, restaurants with normal prices. Not once in any institution did they try to cheat us. The staff is welcoming, friendly.
If you have not bought a tour to Pineta yet, then definitely look for another hotel. It is better to overpay a little than spoil your impression of the chic Marmaris.
