Just returned from Marmaris. The girls and I were vacationing at the San Maris City Hotel. This was my first visit to Turkey, and if I happen to visit there again, I will stay at this hotel. Now I want to tell you why.
What impressed me the most (in a good sense of the word) was the staff. First of all, how friendly they all are and how easy it is to make contact. In Belarus, people who work in the service sector should take an example from them, otherwise it often seems that they are doing you a huge favor by serving you, or even simply answering some elementary question. But in our hotel it was the other way around: it seemed that I had known these people (I mean hotel employees) for a hundred years. They really became family. Always with a smile, without straining, you just get pleasure from communicating with them.
Room cleaning daily.
I liked the food too, especially the soups and desserts.
The desserts were absolutely extraordinary. Usually I am indifferent to sweets, but there I could never refuse. Every day 5-7 items, and each time something new and so tasty, just stunned.
The location of the hotel also pleased: firstly, the beach is a hundred meters away, and secondly, the hotel is the closest to the center (except perhaps the Royal Maris hotel). For young people, this is generally cool, since once it is closer to the center, it is correspondingly closer to Bar Street (if someone does not know, the street of nightclubs).
Someone may say that the rooms are small (the three of us rested in the same room), but on the other hand, you don’t come to rest to sit stupidly in the room and admire the view from the window. The room has a TV, air conditioning, hair dryer.
In short, this trip left me with a bunch of positive emotions. And I repeat once again that if I ever go to Marmaris, I will stay at the San Maris City Hotel.
