The first time I rested with my husband in Turkey. Before going there, read a bunch of reviews, including on this site. Based on our requirements for climate and attractions, as well as the level of service, we settled on Marmaris. The climate here is not as humid as in Antalya and its environs, and Ephesus and Pamukkale, which we were interested in, are much closer to go.
We chose this hotel primarily based on reviews about the price-quality ratio. The hotel is small, neat, there is a good pool - there were enough sun loungers and umbrellas for everyone, there is a bar by the pool where they took out an afternoon snack.
The rooms shown in the description of the hotel are true, but the hotel also has rooms in the attic, where we were settled. They are slightly larger in area than standard ones, the balcony is also larger, the ceilings in the room are sheathed with clapboard, otherwise the filling of the room is standard - a bed, a minibar (empty), air conditioning (in our case it was individual), a TV, a dressing table, two bedside tables, two chairs on the balcony and table, shower. A safe can be provided for a fee, but we did not use it and nothing was missing.

Room cleaning was carried out daily, but not very high quality. The floors were not washed, but simply wiped with a semi-dry cloth (after cleaning, there was a stain from spilled cherry juice in the center of the room, which could not be overlooked, but we are not proud people - we wiped it ourselves), towels were changed on demand (when we saw them on the floor), bed linen changed 2 times a week.
The food is not bad, but without frills: stewed, boiled and fried vegetables all the time (mostly eggplant, zucchini, various types of cabbage, potatoes, corn, beans), mashed soups, chicken almost every day, all sorts of soy cutlets (very much nothing on taste), from salads: chopped cucumbers, chopped tomatoes, green lettuce, onions, cabbage, dill, parsley, some other delicious herb with sour cream, some salads with mayonnaise (there is a lot of it), grated carrots. There is always balsamic, olive oil, mayonnaise, ketchup. Desserts are very sweet of three kinds. From fruits - watermelon, melon and grapes. Once every 3-4 days - ice cream. In general, the hotel corresponds to the declared category, according to many vacationers 3+ and even 4 (ratings were given by those who rested in the resorts of Antalya).
In addition, the hotel is located in the center of Icmeler, which turned out to be very convenient - there is an exchange office nearby without a commission and an excellent shop with very good prices. There are many restaurants and shops around, but if you walk away from the center, the prices will be more democratic. Nearby is a street agency offering excursions (compared to the prices of our tour operator, the prices are at least twice lower), where we took Ephesus-Pamukkale, quad bike safari, a water park, a yacht ride, a hammam, went to the bar street for free.
To the beach in a straight line 5 minutes, and to a good beach - 15 minutes (opposite the hotel Marti la Perla). Sun loungers and mattresses for a fee - 5 lira per couple (1 lira was $ 1.72-1.71).
If you have any questions about the hotel or vacation - I will be happy to answer.
