We looked at Marmaris in the summer, but the prices were prohibitive for Turkey. And here is a last-minute tour - this hotel was chosen based on the ratio of price, reviews, location in the city (1 line).
The hotel is small for 100-something people, the bulk of vacationers are foreigners (Germans), in this town, in general, there were few Russians. Icmeler is a very clean, green, beautiful, cozy and small town located 7 km from Marmaris. transport - a bus with a red stripe (photo), a one-way fare for two is $ 3 (you can pay $ everywhere). In Marmaris they go to the bazaar (on Thursdays), on ordinary days there is also a bazaar, but less interesting. In Icmeler, there is a similar bazaar on Wednesdays (with "gud price") - it is located at the exit from the town, as the road turns to Marmaris, from the Vela hotel, 10-15 minutes. calm move. We asked how to get to the reception, they drew a map for us and everything was ok.
Very friendly staff. Everything - reception, cooks, waiters, cleaners, bartender - only positive memories. We arrived at 10 o'clock, did not "pickle" until 14 o'clock. (check-in time) and "extort", they immediately settled in a good room: the handle on the hair dryer was cracked, they immediately replaced it, the balcony door did not close with a key (although the second floor) and immediately screwed the lock with a chain (WITHOUT any additional wow and nerves!!! ).

The hotel has a big advantage - its location: it is right in the center, everything is nearby, supermarkets, shops, cafes and the bus stop and the SEA (you have to go in a straight line 300-500m to it, 1 line they write, because there are no other hotels in front of the hotel, it stands like would be at the end of this street that leads to the sea). The sea is indeed a little cool (they say it is because of underground springs), it probably makes sense to open the swimming season after July, but it is very clean, beautiful, salty. Beach from sand to small-small pebbles. The beach with sunbeds is paid if you go straight from the hotel 5 lira or $ 3, if you go left from the hotel, a little further (15-30 minutes), there will be cafes where you buy beer or water for 2.5 lira and you can sunbathe on "their" beach , and next to the Marti la Perla hotel there is a beach (there are no dense rows of sunbeds), where you can sunbathe (on your towel on the sand) and swim for free. BEACH TOWELS DO NOT BE PROVIDED AT THE HOTEL.
And so, daily, 2 towels were changed: small and large - normal, clean, without stains...
There is no toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, hair cap - take it with you or buy it there.
Food for 3 * is more than enough, desserts, always fruits: apples, plums, green and black grapes, watermelons, melons. Meat is chicken (lunch and dinner). Everyone will find a dish to their liking, the chef tries, often goes out into the hall, smiles. . .
The room has a refrigerator, LCD TV (there is a Russian channel), on the balcony there are 2 armchairs and a table, beds or 2 singles or one 2-bed and 1 single (such rooms are on the 1st floor), the reception is located on the 0th floor.
On the back patio (photo) there is a bar and a pool (seemingly clean enough). B / n drinks in the bar: vodka ("ours" and "theirs" crayfish), cognac, gin, tonic, white and red wine (from bottles), beer - normal... to french fries.
