We rested in My Meric from 09/20/2011 to 09/30/2011.
The hotel is one building. On the first floor there is a restaurant with a bar, on the third floor there is a terrace with an outdoor pool and a pool bar, it does not have its own territory, it is located in the center of Turunc village, about 11 km. from the center of Marmaris by sea. In order to reach Marmaris from Turunc by road, it is necessary to cross a mountain pass with a height of about 500 meters along a narrow winding road, which will be about 18 km. By sea - faster, more convenient and safer - from the harbor of Turunc to Marmaris, shuttle boats cost 15 lira ($ 9) per person back and forth. Weather: 21-22.09 it rained, it was overcast, windy and cold, no more than +20 in the daytime. In the following days the weather improved - it became clear and windless, at noon the temperature reached +28-30 C. The water is relatively warm - 25-26 degrees. The sea is very clean, transparent, the bottom is small pebbles, entry into the water is comfortable. Because near the village there are apiaries for collecting pine honey, there are many bees on the shore and on the water. Therefore, you should enter the water only in swimming slippers and swim carefully so as not to accidentally swallow a bee floundering on the water.
Now about the hotel itself. I'll start with a few positives, so:

Large spacious rooms, the presence of an extra bed in our standard DBL room, which made it possible to lie on it in the afternoon without polluting the main bed with sand. New furniture, a serviceable bathroom, daily cleaning of the room and repeated change of linen, a working, but noisy, individual air conditioner. Proximity to the sea - about 100 meters.
This is where the positives end. Now I will start listing the numerous cons, so:
The hotel does not have its own beach, so you need to visit the city one, the cost of which is 3.50 lira per person per sunbed. It should be especially noted that the sunbeds on the beach are divided into 2 types - most with mattresses, a smaller part - without them. Those sunbeds with mattresses are allegedly "rented" by coastal cafes, and those without mattresses are purely municipal. All of the above sunbeds are in a terrible state, with a canvas squeezed to the ground, with broken backs. At the same time, "municipal" sunbeds are mainly located on a remote from the center and more wild part of the city beach. It should be noted that if you lie down on a sunbed with a mattress, even after paying the legal 3.50 lira and receiving a payment receipt, you will not be haunted by the "beach boys" from the coastal cafes, who will strongly offer you a glass of cola or beer that way for 5 dollars for allegedly legal use of a cafe-owned mattress or sunbed. If you refuse, they will not let you rest in peace. They will harm, annoy, etc. in every possible way.
Food: modest and tasteless even for the money that was paid for the tour. There is no meat, for 10 days there was chicken several times and once overcooked meat on the grill, there are no pastries, salads migrate to the buffet every day. Cucumbers and tomatoes are cut into large pieces so that they are not tasty and are not eaten much. In fairness, I note that there were melons, watermelons and grapes. Drinks: it's even worse with this, if there is a vat of tea leaves, then there is no boiling water, if there is boiling water, then there is no vat of tea leaves. If there are both vats, then one of them is broken and the waiter quickly repairs it. At the same time, since there are only two vats in the hotel, then they are constantly dragged from the restaurant (1st floor) to the pool bar (3rd floor) and it is very difficult to find the presence of both tea leaves and boiling water in one of the above places. It is even more difficult to get the rest of the drinks, since they are behind the bar counter in the form of dusty decorations and for tactical purposes the boy - the bartender behind this counter is constantly absent and appears for no more than a minute to serve no more than 1-2 people and again disappear into the bowels kitchen for 10 minutes. The dishes are not washed, dirty.

PIPE: However, these are all minor annoyances compared to PIPE, which really ruined the holiday in this hotel. So, another building adjoins the hotel building in which there is a Turkish bath, which smokes for 20 hours a day. The chimney of the bath goes to the level of the 7th-8th floor of the hotel and constantly smokes black poisonous soot with an indescribable chemical smell (photos are attached). It is impossible to go out onto the balcony, things on the balcony are covered with smelly soot in a few hours. The time for respite is only from 2 to 5 o'clock in the morning. The rest of the time you need to close the balcony door and turn on the air conditioner. I note that this smoke sometimes even covers the beach, located at a distance of 100-200 meters from the damn pipe.
All positive emotions from the rest are received from excursions to Dalyan and Cleopatra Island.
Village: A small clean and tidy village with a population of about 2000 inhabitants. On the main street there are shops, cafes, telephone boxes. Goods in stores are extremely poor quality, synthetic products are presented by sellers as silk, leather and cotton. In any of the shops you can buy a phone card worth 5 lire, which is enough for 10 minutes of talking with the house. For discos, you need to go to Marmaris, because the village is calm, most of the tourists are elderly Europeans and Turks.
