We rested in Ideal Prime Beach at the end of May 2016. We chose according to three parameters - cost, location (we were looking for a city hotel in Marmaris) and food. This hotel won, and we spent 10 days in it with two young couples. Now in order.
GENERAL IMPRESSION. We thought that we would fly to Turkey, but there is no one here : ) But there are surprisingly enough people. Marmaris has always been held in high esteem by foreigners, and now even more so. Russian speech is audible, but much less. The hotel is about 20% of the Slavs, the rest are not ours. Nevertheless, the receptionist is Russian-speaking and polite. The territory is huge, beautiful, well-groomed. There are few hotels with such an area.
BEACH. Narrow, small pebbles, BUT... this is Marmaris! Here the entire coastline is of this nature, and Ideal, by the way, has one of the best sections. The sea is cool, not for everyone, but during the day you can plunge for a couple of minutes. The sunbeds are free, clean, new…probably because it's the beginning of the season. On the beach there is a bar with drinks (alk + soft drinks), you can have a snack during the day. I advise you to sunbathe by the beach, because noisy intrusive animators (also Russians) do not allow you to relax by the pool.

ROOM. I recommend asking for higher rooms… The view is incredible! Sea, mountains, as in the picture. Soundproofing is weak. This is especially noticeable in rooms with windows overlooking the pool and the hotel area with music. If you are traveling with children, be careful. Morning prayer is not heard from the mosque. But we did not suffer from insomnia, especially after walking along Bar Street (more on that below).
NUTRITION. There is a lot of food and it is different. Starting from unusual pasta with sauces, unprecedented porridges from chickpeas, lentils and other dishes with a Turkish flavor, to incredible desserts and cakes (they have their own pastry shop). Although the beginning of the season, there are enough vegetables and fruits (citrus fruits, pears, apples). Do not wait for strawberries, it is better to buy it in a local market, it will still come out cheaper than in our homeland. Breakfast is monotonous - cereal, scrambled eggs, cheese with butter. No yogurt, no seafood. As for alcohol: white wine - for girls, vodka and raki - for guys) beer for everyone, you can even for children : ) We agreed that it is non-alcoholic.
CITY. Marmaris is not a city for shopping, but for fun) You should not look for good things, textiles, fur coats, jackets and other nonsense here. Better have fun! Bar Street is surprisingly comfortable - there are no crowds of people, drunk, screaming and squealing women, but the clubs are on top! Entrance is free everywhere, you pay only for alcohol. I advise you to go through all, even the largest. From out-of-town trips, I advise rafting, it’s not scary, but it will be remembered for a lifetime. Agencies both worked and work, we randomly found a local Dayzitour on the Internet and booked it. By the way, Wi-Fi works best near the hill, the signal almost does not reach the room.
They did not regret the choice, Turkey opened the season with dignity. The hotel - prosperity and only decent guests!
