I rested in Marmaris itself for the fourth time, at the Ideal Prime Beach 5 * hotel in October from 01-09.2020 for the 3rd time. I used to write that everything is super, this year my opinion has changed a little about the minuses. I like the hotel myself, I was lucky with the rooms, there were no questions, only this year I will say the rooms were cleaned very poorly, the food is also good, despite the fact that this year the food was cut by 50%, but everything was enough and tasty, about alcohol - I don’t drink cocktails, but beer is normal, but the queue is so constant, that it’s not in quarantine, it’s in quarantine. I can say one thing: at the distribution, some Turks were aggressive, I watched how some vacationers were directly attacked because the vacationer asked for more cheese or something else, I didn’t like it and if it touched me, then I definitely wouldn’t be silent and put a plate on his head. For the past two years, there has been no such chaos. The guys waiters are great, fast funny.
About the beach - this is a sore subject, the fact that it is narrow does not matter, there are not enough sunbeds, it does not matter either. DIRT (garbage: cigarette butts everywhere, cups, mountains of seed husks) that's the trouble. I understand that it depends on the most people, there are princes and princesses? who live by the rules - it’s not a royal thing to throw in a trash can, I’ll shit everywhere, and then I’ll say what a bad hotel, there really are trash pots everywhere, but the staff themselves somehow have to keep clean. Nearby hotels are like 4 *, 5 *, sand or crumbs are clean, I have seen some cleaning machines. In a word, the beach area is a fat MINUS. At the reception, the staff is also not all 5 this year, there is something to compare 2018 with, 2019 was much better. It's not boring in the evenings +. Marmaris itself is very beautiful, but the hotel is your choice.
