The name Ideal does not correspond to reality, because the renovations made in this hotel are clearly not perfect. The golden color used everywhere in the hotel greatly emphasizes the unevenness of the walls under it, but this clearly did not bother those responsible for the repair, as well as the disgustingly glued wallpaper, cracks in the baseboards, etc. The wall of the building in which we lived was so uneven exterior plaster, as if it was made in 1965 and recently painted. The ceilings in our building were low, the rooms were small, and the bathroom had a shower instead of a bathtub.
We pre-booked a room with a sea view. Upon check-in, we were given a room at the end of the building, from which there was a side view of the sea and a great view of the kitchen of the neighboring hotel. The bathroom door in the room did not close. And thank God, because. it became a strong argument why we need to change the number. In general, after visiting several hotels in resorts, where there are many Russian speakers, I got the impression that it was written on my forehead that I want the worst room in the purchased category. At the reception in this hotel, the staff does not speak Russian and Ukrainian, but there were enough emotions to explain everything to them in English. I was pleased that all the staff tries to help when they hear English, even if clumsy. The guy who gave us this room offered to fix the door tomorrow. Then change number tomorrow. But after Kemer we knew that tomorrow would be tomorrow again. So they asked him to call the boss. Then the boss called another boss. And this hotel employee changed our room to a full sea view.
On this, all the cons ended. Excellent cuisine. Beautiful area. Huge private beach. Comfortable nice bar. Amazing bar on the second floor overlooking the sea. A separate cafe with sweets !!!! ! Russian-speaking tourists are less than half. After walking around Marmaris and Icmeler, we came to the conclusion that this is one of the two best hotels in this resort. Great views of the mountains throughout the bay.

I recommend a trip to Cleopatra Island. I advise you to visit the Marmaris Embankment on your own on a minibus with a turquoise stripe. At the end of the embankment there is a turn to the street of bars.
If you add up all the pros and cons, I can say that this is the best hotel in which I rested.
Separately, I want to say that on the penultimate day at the restaurant, standing in line for fish in German, I saw a woman who with a confident step cut off the queue of confused foreigners with her body and began to scoop fish into a plate. "Today we stopped by" - a thought flashed. So a small number of compatriots is a big plus.
