We rested with a company of 4 people (from 22 to 25 years old). First time in Marmaris. We chose this resort because of the beautiful nature. The hotel was chosen for a very long time, everyone had their own selection criteria, which the hotel had to meet. As a result, we settled on the "Ideal".
In general, the hotel is good, well-groomed, the territory is not very large, everything is nearby. They settled us exactly at 14.00 (we arrived at the hotel at 10 am) The rooms were given to us and our friends in the main building "Family room", although they paid for the standard, but with a view of the neighboring hotel and the road. At first glance, the room, and the whole hotel as a whole, is very pretentious and expensive, but when you start to look closely, you can see that everything is made from the cheapest materials. Our friends had very bad air conditioning in the room, despite the fact that they lived on the top floor, during the day there was nothing to breathe in the room + they had a mansard roof and with a height of 175 cm they always hit the ceiling with their heads. We were a little more lucky: 2 air conditioners in the room and in some mysterious way it didn’t turn off when we left and took the key! )) It’s hard to call housekeeping cleaning, the floors are not washed in principle! They update the water in the bar, add soap to the dispensers and that's it.
The food is excellent! Meat of different types, fish, vegetables, fruits, greens, many different side dishes, sweets. And all this was updated throughout the entire breakfast, lunch or dinner. When the main restaurant is closed, you still won't go hungry. Ice cream was given every other day. Alcohol is local, and that says it all) But the beer is very tasty.

The staff is unobtrusive, everyone understands Russian, but a little worse than in other regions of Turkey. As a matter of fact, there were very few Russian speakers in the hotel, only elderly Germans and Englishmen, almost no young people! At the end of the rest, Muscovites and Kievans stopped by. But there are almost no children in the hotel either, which made me happy.
After 12 midnight there is nothing to do in the hotel, the bar closes and everyone goes to bed. There is a disco, but it is not)
The beach is very narrow but long. Unfortunately, everything that was written in other reviews about sunbeds is true. After 4 hours of sun on the beach is almost gone. There is no sand, in principle, as such (instead of sand, there is dirty gravel, but this is the specificity of Marmaris itself).
In general, the hotel deserves Turkish 4 stars with a plus, it does not reach 5 stars, but on the other hand, you can have a great rest in a 2-star hotel, the main thing is a good mood and a cheerful company)
