I want to share my impressions of the Club Hotel Maxima in Ozdere. Impressions at once I will tell disgusting.
But first things first.
We decided to send our child and grandmother on vacation to Turkey on an all-inclusive basis (fortunately not for the first time - before that, a few years ago we went to Ephesia in Kusadasi and they liked it there). And of course, our main requirements were - good food, a sandy clean beach, comfortable rooms and not worse than in Ephesia.
The Belarusian tour operator Alatan Tour, after listening to all this, offered us "definitely the best hotel", "much better than those where we rested earlier in Turkey in this price category" Club Hotel Maxima.

After our brief deliberation and finding not very flattering reviews about this hotel on the Internet, the manager of the Alatan Tour company, Elena Bratikova (who sold us this wonderful tour), assured us that "the hotel has been completely renovated, all the rooms have been renovated, all the furniture is new, the food is top notch. " level this year - and the reviews are old - even when all this was not done. She sang so beautifully to us that we decided to send our grandmother and child to this hotel. Moreover, they themselves decided to come at the end of their vacation for a week, just to lie by the sea.
Our grandmother is not very spoiled, she never went to fashionable resorts, and therefore when, having arrived there with a child, she immediately and unequivocally said on the phone that the hotel was "not very" - we tensed up and were surprised. When they arrived, they saw everything with their own eyes. The hotel building (freshly painted on the outside) from the inside was a crumbling building with spat on barely working elevators, a dirty hall, always smelling of sewage (or was it the stench from the dining room? ). The furniture in my grandmother's room (as it turned out later in all the other rooms) was old, cracked and falling apart from any push (either the wheel would fly off, then the board would fall off). The air conditioner didn't work. In the bathroom, sockets torn out "with meat", dirty tiles, no shower gel or soap to wash your hands at all. "Clean" towels are dirty white, with stains (maybe they were washed without powder? ). The carpet in the room is also all stained, dirty, the room is smoky with unpleasant "aromas". In general, complete horror. Seeing all this, we were very upset, but it turned out - it was still flowers. At 14.00 (as it should have been) the "long-awaited" check-in did not happen - the hotel simply did not have free rooms (for us and 11 other families who came with us). All of them were offered to move to a nearby "five-star" hotel and live there for a couple of days until the rooms in this hotel become free. Everything would be fine - yes, as it turned out - you will need to eat and swim in the Club Hotel Maxima, but to spend the night - in this, moreover, it turned out to be unfinished and was a kilometer away (walking in the heat every day ?? ). Naturally, many opposed and began to demand that they be accommodated in the hotel for which they had originally paid. The reception staff were rude, shouted back, then simply refused to understand English, Russian, German and turned on the "durka" as they say. On my calls to Minsk, Elena Bratikova answered me the following verbatim: "We just sold the tour to you, please express all claims to the meeting company TTA Travel, you should be settled, I'll find out everything and call you back. " After that, I never heard her again - that is, she did not even bother to call and find out whether we solved the problem or not, settled us or not. It just disappeared and that's it.
In the meantime, events unfolded as follows: out of 11 families, someone agreed to leave for another hotel, someone (apparently having given a bribe) was settled in this one (there are no rooms? ). And the remaining "dissenters", including us, began to be invited to the top manager of the hotel and conduct "conversations", offering all sorts of ways out. In particular, we were offered the following - to evict the grandmother and the child from their double and put us all together in a two-room family room with a shared bathroom, offering all sorts of bonuses for temporary inconvenience. It was already time for dinner, we had not slept for almost a day (early departure at 6 am from Minsk) and we decided to agree to spend the night there for one night - and the next day we were promised to be settled in 2 standard rooms, as was paid for by the voucher, as the top manager put it - "to the elite rooms. "
Once in this family room, we were completely fucked up - everything can be seen on the photo without unnecessary descriptions, but we had a real shock - this room was so shabby, dirty and smelly. In place of the minibar - a hole, the sofas are all dirty, there is air conditioning, but it does not work. The carpeting is all dirty, burned with cigarettes, the lamps are all beaten and cracked, the bathroom is generally a quiet horror. They promised to fix the air conditioner - they fiddled for 2 hours - they fixed it - 5 minutes after leaving, the light was knocked out, and somewhere outside - not in the room. They called again. After leaving again - we decided not to call again and went to bed without air conditioning and light - it was after midnight, I wanted to sleep.

The next day, as promised, we were settled in 2 "elite" standard rooms. But as it turned out, all their elitism consisted in autonomous air conditioners (which also at first refused to work - then they fixed it). The same shabby furniture, dirty towels, broken tiles, stained carpets, etc. Everything is as usual in maxim. In these rooms we spent the rest of the "rest".
Now about food. It's terrible. The hotel is full of children - and it’s for children to eat except for pasta or fries there. Yes, and adults too. Of the meat dishes, there were usually either lamb kidneys, or chicken skewers fried with hot chili peppers (to eat less? ) Or chicken stew with vegetables, and not legs, wings and thighs - but the bony remaining parts. From watermelon fruits (in June then? - the child poured out of them immediately - after which we didn’t eat them anymore - who knows what they stuffed them with), green plums (precisely green, unripe crispy sour plums), green melon, once green apricots. Well, in general - 2 types of cheese - but cut in different ways and sprinkled with different powders - like variety, withered greens, mashed potatoes, soy sausage. There were never even sausages. Moreover, what remained from the past days was added to the "new" food. For example, cabbage lies fresh on top - and you dig deeper - already gray yesterday or the day before yesterday. And so with everything. For breakfast, boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs. And one type of cheese + 1 type of cobasa - but all this is done in the form of variety (different cuts, different seasonings there, etc. ) So those who go there with children should be doubly careful.
The territory is old, with trampled grass, unkempt, not too big. Greens to a minimum. There are shops (standard products, souvenirs, clothes, jewelry, rent a car)
There is free Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby (one plus of this hotel). The speed is pretty decent.
Pools. There are 4.1 large rectangular, 2 paddling pools, 1 with slides (also old and falling apart), moreover, children were constantly injured on them.

The sea is clean. The beach is sandy, but VERY dirty, dusty. There are cigarette butts in the sand, some construction debris, glass. Sun loungers are ancient, broken, umbrellas too. Well, of course, all this is not enough, people at 5 in the morning run and take their places. Horror. Beach towels are not issued - even for money - they offer to buy them for 7 euros - well, wash them yourself if you really want to. Or don't wash.
There is a gym and a spa area, we went there - exactly 3 simulators, 2 dumbbells and a barbell - everything is naturally old. Procedures in the spa area are more expensive than in Kusadasi and in Izmir 2 times - they do not shine with quality.
In general, you can still write a lot, a lot - but I think that what I wrote is quite enough to understand - WHAT kind of horror is Club Hotel Maxima. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling with children.
