In Turkey for the 7th time. And this is the first 5 * hotel in which my wife and I were, and to which there are practically no complaints. The territory is large, green and well-groomed. The hotel itself is new, with a huge hall, a restaurant without queues, normal rooms.
An excellent large sandy beach, where you can always (! ) find free sunbeds as well as by the pools, which I counted somewhere around 6-8.
A few words about nutrition. Diverse, a large selection of vegetable dishes, salads, sweets. From meat: chickens, turkey in various forms, tongue, beef (less often), lamb (kebab and other national dishes), once - baked sheep. Fish every day in several forms, often small, but there was also a huge tuna baked in dough.
For the first time I saw such an abundance and variety of fruits, which were replenished during breakfast, lunch or dinner. And, importantly, the fruits are ripe. These are: apples, peaches, nectarines, cherries, apricots, oranges, grapefruits, plums (juicy and sweet like peaches), and, of course, watermelons and melons.
We arrived at the hotel at 10 am. We had breakfast. They settled us at one o'clock in the afternoon in a room overlooking the forest, which we did not regret. Advantages: the sun came into the room early in the morning and at sunset, the room was cool and the air conditioner, which worked perfectly, was rarely used.
A little about the composition of vacationers. According to the national on the basis of the CIS - 20%, Germans - 40%, British and Turks 10% each, the rest - Poles, Slovaks, Serbs, etc. By age, married couples with small children from babies and older prevailed, there were also many people of retirement age, to which we include ourselves.
The attitude of the staff towards the vacationers was friendly, regardless of nationality.
About the rest. For the first time in the years of rest in Turkey (we always rested at the end of June), the sea was stormy for 5 days so that it was impossible to swim. The waves swept into the sea part of the flooring on the pier, which was restored only before our departure.
We went on an excursion in Side, you can call it a boat trip. I thought that Side was a city, but it turned out that there were several shopping arcades with Turkish junk and prices higher than in the shopping center, which is not far from the hotel. Of the attractions - a ruined amphitheater with a paid entrance.
And a few remarks that still exist, but in general do not spoil the overall picture:
1. In my wife's opinion, the animation team is rather weak;
2. Umbrellas on the beach, which are permanently installed, could have been larger and more dense fabric - they created not a shadow, but a penumbra, behind which the sunbeds had to be rearranged during the day.
In general, the holiday was a success!
