We went to this hotel with a family: dad, mom and two children 1 and 4 years old. Before that, they were in Turkey once, in Belek. We would love to return there this time too, but the trip was not planned in advance, everything turned out quite spontaneously; tour agent. salon offered Turan as an option for a family vacation. We went via Anex tour. In many ways, the impression of the rest is determined by the mood with which you go on this very vacation. Everything was in order with this, and therefore everyone endured the rather long road from the airport in an hour and a half. We were at the hotel around 9 am. We were afraid that we would have to wait for check-in until 14:00, as many people write, but we had no choice with a flight and it was impossible to arrive a little later. The reception is small, as for a hotel of this size, there are full houses during check-out / check-in hours, all managers are busy, there is even an announcement asking that it is better not to call the reception at certain hours without special need ...
Nevertheless, this did not cause any inconvenience for us personally: the Russian-speaking manager suggested that we immediately go to have breakfast, and then deal with the “housing issue”. We were given bracelets and we went to breakfast. Immediately about the food: everything is fine, not very diverse, as many write, but there were fruits / meat / fish every day. For small children there is hot milk, mashed potatoes are not always available. From the exotic, there were fried mussels a couple of times, once a couple of tuna were cut right in the restaurant, I have never seen a fish of this size in my life, it tastes more like meat than fish. The rest of the food is standard, I can not add anything more. So, after breakfast, we returned to the reception, where we were told that our room (standard, in the main building) was already free, but they were not allowed to check in without cleaning and we had to wait a bit until they cleaned it.
I didn’t offer money, I think it’s superfluous, and it was clear that they were trying to help us settle in as soon as possible: they are also people, they also have / had / will have small children. In the meantime, we decided to take a walk to the sea. Sea. I liked it very much. The whole holiday was beautiful weather, almost no waves at sea, the water is clean and even with a mask you can swim and look at the fish, I myself saw about six different species. If you stand motionless in the water for a few seconds, then the fish begin to "bite" on your legs, it's cool and does not bother you. My wife saw a dolphin, others also said that they were swimming, but I myself was not lucky to see it. The road to the beach goes through a small river or just a narrow channel. There is a lot of fish there, I do not rule out that it is bred on purpose. Often buns / crumbs are thrown into the water from the bridge, and then this begins - the water seems to boil below. You can also fish from the bridge, the bite is excellent with such and such an appetite.

The beach itself is sandy, and closer to the water - pebbles. For children, sometimes they had to wear sandals in order to reach the water, especially when the sand was heated. There are always enough places on sunbeds, it affects that some of the guests are in the water park or by the pools. In a word, I liked the sea and the beach very much. And the sunset on the beach is simply incomparable: dozens of photographers come with clients to take pictures at this moment. The only thing that I will note on the beach from the bad is that there are cigarette butts lying around. Children play in the sand, and wherever they dig, gobies dig out. It literally is, I'm not exaggerating. Garbage vases are present and there are enough of them, but not all vacationers can lift their butt and throw away a cigarette butt. And I watched how they hide cigarette butts in the sand, who would you think - the Germans! So it's not just the Scoop. After walking for the first time through the water and returning to the reception by 11:30, we were given the keys and escorted to the room.
That's just the room was still not cleaned and it happened right in front of us, but it's better than walking before the official check-in time. Number. Our room was overlooking the courtyard, although not the sea, but beautiful: a rock garden under the balcony, mountains are clearly visible in the distance. No noise and everything is very, very close. I think a bungalow would be worse. The room was cleaned well, even when no tip was left. As soon as we checked in, the safe in the room didn't work. The porter said he would tell about it. During the afternoon nap, we put up a "do not disturb" sign. But, apparently, the desire to repair the safe was so great that the man knocked on the door for a long time until he woke everyone up. The safe was once again checked for brokenness and the person said that in 5 minutes the master would come to change the batteries. After almost an hour of waiting, no one came and we went to the sea. The safe was not made that day, as well as the next - they simply forgot about us.
The mini bar was also not replenished. After going to the sea for two days with passports and money, as well as stocking up on water in a restaurant and bars, we decided to tell the reception about it. So, the second day, daytime children's sleep, the sign "do not disturb" on the door. The same type as yesterday burst into the room, waking everyone up. He checked the safe again and wow! , it still didn't work. Said the master would come now. About half an hour later, the master did come, repaired for about an hour, but in the end the safe was repaired for us, which we were very happy about. The mini-bar in the room is replenished not during cleaning, but separately, about an hour in three days a man walks with a cart and offers cola, fanta, mineral water. If you are not in the room, then you are left without water. By the way, this "water peddler" turned out to be the only one of the staff who understands the meaning of the "do not disturb" sign. The same cleaning lady, for example, will still knock on the door and ask "wouldn't you clean it up today? ".
Save recipes and checks! Soon my wife and I also had a temperature, our throat hurt. There were many like us. On the one hand, it’s good that the hotel is huge, but where there are a lot of people there are infections. Then we all just did that we were treated, and in between - the beach. Somewhere during this period, a light bulb burned out on the balcony - the only place where you can sit in the evening with a book when the children are already sleeping. We made an application for the repair of lighting - there is the same sign as "do not disturb", but it is called "repair is needed", where you tick off what is broken. Surprisingly, everything was done in our absence and on the same day. We came from the beach, and the light bulb had already been changed. Great! Not! and the next day, the wife said that she must have driven some glass into her leg on the beach, and a shard was taken out. And then I see another fragment on the sofa next to the child, and another and another on the floor. All over the room. It turned out that when they changed the light bulb, the electrician broke it, collected large fragments and that's it.

The entire balcony was strewn with glass, and for a day we carried it with our feet around the room. Horror! At first I wanted to change the number, but my wife said that she could not stand another move with things. We have only medicines on the whole table... I called the maid, showed her the fragments on the floor, she understood everything and immediately went for the vacuum cleaner. Well, and from the unpleasant. Already on the last day of rest, we were all at the sea, sunbathing, filming. After swimming, we come to our sunbeds - there are no towels. And you have to pay for the lost towel. There are no words, just moving away from the shock, I went to the guard at the entrance to the beach. He gave me a towel that someone had forgotten the day before. That is, some bastard, drunk, sowed his own, and removed it from the sunbed near the baby carriage. How did you raise your hand to this? With the price of a holiday in the thousands of bucks, coveting a towel from a child ...
And a few more general remarks in the end.
The territory of the hotel is very large, there is a lot of greenery, but you can hide in the shade only on the paths near the bungalows, where there is a tunnel of climbing grapes (? ), but in the rest of the territory the greenery / palm trees are not very lush and in the heat you feel like you are on a bald spot, not otherwise . All day long, the Arava of guests is distributed throughout the territory, but everyone converges for dinner. You have to wait/look for a free table for a long time. Moreover, the full house starts from the moment the restaurant opens for dinner, closer to closing it is already easier, but there is not much on the table with sweets, the fruits are carefully sorted out by someone before you; -). Don't expect to buy something profitable. Near the hotel there are shopping arcades like "bazaars", but the prices there are more expensive than Turkish prices in our homeland, and they cheat everyone, don't catch a crow - it's still a crook.
As a summary: if it weren't for the infections that caused other hotels to be rejected at the selection stage...
then it would be possible to rest, but the reality is that such a holiday harms the health of children more than it helps, and therefore Good Bye Turkey Foreva!
