Greetings to all visitors!

My husband and I first rested abroad from 10.09. 12 to 17.09. 12. Since they did it abroad in the summer, they bought vouchers for a month, and I didn’t really want to choose hotels (but, in vain), I just wanted to go to the sea, and not to go far from the airport. Serena was offered to us.

Reception and accommodation.
We arrived at about 13.00, at the reception we were met by two smiling Turks who spoke good Russian, who for some reason did not like me right away, despite their smiles. Something cunning and feigned politeness lay behind him, it seemed to me. We were promised that by 14.00 the room would be ready. But now we can go to eat.

We left our things and went to eat and walk. But you can’t wander long in the heat when you are wearing warm jeans and a turtleneck, so we quickly returned to the reception to the air conditioners. Before we even landed, the guys said that we could go to the room. Having already looked at the territory, evaluating the houses, I dreamed that we would live on the second floor.
And we were unexpectedly taken to some small one-story house, which I briefly noticed, because I thought that staff were being accommodated there)

Room 6218 was not cleaned up yet, but this is nonsense, something else was embarrassing! He turned out to be very small! I remembered a standard room in a 3* hotel in Adler and a room at a hostel we went to recently. And this room was more like a room in a hostel. Unless the beds are inseparable, but one.
In the room, a bed fits on one wall, on the sides of the bedside table, on the other wall, almost close to the bedside table, there is a wardrobe (in which it is not clear why some kind of wooden column was made or I don’t know what to call it, which prevented the use of the full-width wardrobe, and a safe on the key), then a table, a stool, a TV, along the third wall the passage is rather narrow, and against the wall opposite the passage there was a balcony door, through which the light actually came and the door to the bathroom, if it’s over a meter by meter room can be called a room . Compared to the number in Adler, it was just pipets. Cramped, gloomy, everything is somehow old, shabby, even the bed is somehow very compact. Conder almost above it, a little to the left.

In Adler, the condor was located at the entrance. This immediately spoiled the mood. So much for abroadaaaa ...When they asked the guy, he said that there are rooms, you can pay 100-200 S to check into another room.

Not an option, I thought, and decided to accept. But the fact that the towels turned out to be with holes, the towel (I don’t know how to call it differently) for sleeping also with holes, no bedspread, the balcony is also tiny, there are no slippers, they don’t give bathing towels, shampoo, shower gel and they don’t put soap (but on the advice of friends, we took shampoo and soap with us), there is absolutely nowhere to put bags, there are no hooks in the bathroom, you can’t even hang things anywhere, don’t dry them. And the most, in my opinion, terrible, they did not give a tag for the maid. But about the staff will be a separate item.

Meeting with the guide.
Our guide turned out to be Elnur, about whom everyone writes furiously here. He turned out to be a friendly young man who spoke Russian well. He told us about the hotel, what paid services are, where, what you can buy outside the hotel, about the currency, then about the excursions.
He did not impose anything on anyone, he tried to give as much information as possible on excursions, to interest, to joke. I didn't like the fact that he didn't give me the opportunity to ask questions in order. Almost all visitors became interested in excursions, someone took one, someone took three. He talked about the advantages of this or that excursion. And I put stamps on all vouchers, regardless of whether they took or did not take excursions. About the fact that you need to put a stamp on the voucher and register, the guide-transfer on the way to the hotel said that there was no connection with the purchase of excursions.

Territory, sea, beach.
The hotel is located right next to the road, other expensive ones stretch nearby in different directions, so there is nowhere to walk outside the hotel, except perhaps in the shops opposite. The territory of the hotel is large, there is where to walk. The truth is dismal.
The vegetation looks a little dried up, perhaps poorly looked after (the gardener has not seen), but it may be that it is already autumn. But here you have such and such palm trees, arborvitae, pines, some unprecedented trees, flowering bushes, pink-red, and so on. lemons, tangerines, pomegranates. All living creatures are found: lizards run, cats and kittens, birds. In general, we liked it.

Sea

The sea is gorgeous! ! ! Blue, clean, transparent, warm, pleasant in every sense, cannot be compared with Black. The waves are small. I don’t know what waves people wrote about here. On Black they were much stronger. When you see the sea, you swim, you forget about all the unpleasant things associated with the number and in general! This is exactly what they came for.

The beach is quite spacious, also clean, and not crowded. I don’t know what kind of stones people describe here, the beach is pebbly, no special footwear is required.
They really promised us a sandy beach, but the sand was about 80 meters from the sea, and there they lay with umbrellas. But we sat on our towels right by the sea on pebbles. Apparently people have not been to Chernoy, where there are really large pebbles and it is inconvenient to enter. On the beach, no one interferes with anyone, because there were about 10 people on the strength. The beach is constantly cleaned.

We didn’t go to the sauna and hammam, we didn’t see the animators, I can’t say anything.

Nutrition.
The restaurant is more like a canteen, which was a little disappointing. Flies fly. The waiters are very dexterous guys, they take away mountains of plates without breaking anything, neat, polite and smiling. The food is very diverse: rice, pasta, potatoes, vegetables and sliced, and in salads, eggs, sausages, cereals, soups, a lot of sweets (everyone is very tasty, melt in your mouth), oranges and apples, watermelons, sometimes There was chicken and fish. Trays are constantly updated.

Staff.
When the husband went to pay for the safe, the guy directly asked, but will there be a tip? Husband said they would. When I threw in a couple of dollars, they said without a shadow of embarrassment that it would not be enough. He does not know how to refuse, so he added more. Although you ask, FOR WHAT? ? ? The next day, after meeting with the guide, a plate of fruit with a business card from the hotel’s general manager was waiting in the room, and until the last moment we doubted whether it was a gift or if they would present an invoice upon departure).

I'll add more about the maid. She rushed to us when her time came, and it was different. Besides, she didn’t speak Russian at all, except for the word “tomorrow”, when we told her that today you don’t have to clean up. I did not make swans, although a couple of times they left her $ 2.

Tours.
We took a tour of Demre-Mira-Kekkov. Due to poor health, we did not manage to go on the appointed day. They called Elnur, he rescheduled the tour without any problems in two days, this did not affect the cost.
Enjoyed the tour very much! We were taken on a comfortable bus, our guide was a Russian guy Maxim. He was interesting and always answered questions. Pleased the staff on the yacht. Very friendly Turks. Bathed in the sea. Made it home for dinner.
The excursion and the sea brightened up all the unpleasant impressions!
