In the period from July 19 to 25.2009, we "rested" in the "hotel" "ANTEMIS" (formerly it was called "Side Dream"), which is located in the place "Side". This is the worst hotel of all Turkish hotels I have been to. And so, about everything in order.

Our tour operator was GTI.

Initially, we took vouchers to the FLIPPER BEACH HOTEL (as indicated in the Agreement) located on the first coastline (for us it was a prerequisite), the availability of places in which we were confirmed. But on the bus that took us from the airport, the guide told us that there were no places in our hotel (although, as I already said, the room was confirmed to us) and we were settled according to some clause of the Agreement in a hotel of a higher class in "ANTEMIS" ( according to the Agreement, all changes made to it, including a change of hotel, are made only with the written consent of the parties, which was not done). After that, the guide began to praise our new hotel, saying that we were lucky that we did not go to the FLIPPER BEACH HOTEL, because everything is very bad there.

And then it all started. At the reception, they wanted to charge us money for checking into a room with a “good” view (by the way, there are simply no such rooms in the hotel, the windows of all rooms overlook either other hotels or a wasteland). The truth settled us quickly. The only thing I liked about this hotel was the room - large, bright, clean and with a balcony. We got a room with a "picturesque" view of the wasteland, although a piece of the sea was visible in the distance.

At the reception it turned out the most unpleasant thing - HOTEL "ANTEMIS" IS NOT ON THE FIRST COASTLINE, BUT 500 METERS FROM THE SEA!! ! True every half an hour from the hotel to the sea and back there is a free bus. Walking from the hotel to the sea is not the most pleasant experience - the road is dusty, uneven and passes by garbage cans. The hotel has its own beach, about 30 meters long.
The beach and the seabed are made of sand. All sorts of rubbish is lying on the beach - a couple of times there were broken bottles.
There is a free bar on the beach, but we could not understand its working hours - one day it closed at 17:00, the other day at 18:00. By the way, if you stand in a long line there, you can eat hamburgers (if they remain). Sunbeds, shade and mattresses on the beach are free.
2). HOTEL.
The ANTEMIS hotel does not have a territory (park) at all - there is a small area for transport in front of the hotel, the hotel itself, a small open "restaurant" and a pool with two slides and sun loungers, a tennis court and a small area for animation. By the way, the mode of operation of the water slides also remained a mystery to us - according to what principle they were turned on and off, it was not clear.
Inside the hotel building is clean, the rooms were cleaned well and every day.

The hotel has one entrance, next to which is written "please do not be at the reception in bathing suits. "
In other words, when leaving the beach, you need to dress culturally.
The hotel has its own sauna. For $30 they do a massage and a mud mask.
At the reception there was only one sane Russian-speaking employee Hyusam.
Half of the guests in this "hotel" are Turks.
3). FEEDING.
This is something I have never seen before!! ! There were practically no meat dishes, and if they were put out (a maximum of two types), then a huge queue immediately lined up behind them and they quickly ended. Asking the waiters to bring something from the drinks is useless. Many of the tablecloths were dirty. After people finished eating and left, the table for the next visitors was not set - you know, it’s not the most pleasant thing to sit in a “restaurant” when there are dirty tablecloths with leftover food on the tables around you. True, dirty dishes were carried away quickly. There are a lot of broken dishes, so you can easily cut yourself. I'm not talking about the fact that it is not very pleasant to drink from a glass with a part of the leg broken off.
There were few ashtrays on the tables, and if there were, they were DIRTY!!!

In general, we are SHOCKED by this "hotel". Look at this smart guy who gave this place FOUR STARS. Last year we were in Bodrum in "TREPHKA", which is much better than this "hotel" - the first line, friendly staff, excellent service, etc. "

With the return to Moscow, too, it was not all smooth sailing. We were supposed to fly out of Antalya at 9.45, but for some reason the flight was postponed to 20.45. We specifically chose the morning flight in order to be in Moscow in the afternoon and get home safely. But the GTI company thought that it would be more convenient for us. True, they warned about this in advance and we spent this time at the hotel, and not at the airport.

I express my deep gratitude to the GTI company, which replaced the hotel for us and thereby spoiled the rest. Why do we need a contract at all if it is still not executed?
