I want to warn you right away that this hotel is not suitable for lovers of a carefree holiday without queues for food and drinks, daily fresh pastries and friendly staff.
The accommodation is excellent (they settled on the 5th floor overlooking the sown fields, which eliminated the discomfort from daytime noise from the pool and the evening noise of animation programs) - silence, a pleasant wide view - on the right is a river with ships, on the left is a piece of the sea, a kilometer opposite is a hotel - brother of Lake River. A courteous porter carried our luggage, connected our phones to Wi-Fi, explained how to use the free safe, and was rewarded with $10 from us, initially very pleased with everything that was happening. However, this is where the pleasant impression of the service ends, because the hotel staff is not sharpened for a friendly attitude towards guests, but rather for a fistily-aggressive one.
Nutrition. According to Haktan's gest relation, the chef is the winner of European competitions, and in general, food was good and varied at times, BUT - not always of high quality, as evidenced by several facts that we met for the first time in our long and rich travel history.

The first disappointment overtook during the testing of a dish of vegetables - peas and carrots, which turned out to be rotten, leaving behind trailing threads of mucus....
The second - the wine (rose) at the beach bar was served diluted so much that I immediately wrote to the guest relation about this situation, since I had made friends with him on VKontakte in advance. He promised to look into it, and even introduced us to CFO Eyup (Eyup bey), who approached us with an interpreter at dinner at an a la carte restaurant, giving us a bottle of white wine as a curtsy. However, the conversation did not work out, because in response to our exhortations that the wine was really diluted (which is unacceptable not only for a 5-star hotel, but in principle unacceptable), he came up with a version that apparently the wine was diluted - attention! - champagne (it is not clear for what effect, apparently they believe that this explanation is sufficient). The next time we noticed that the wine (not always, but often) was diluted with water in the main restaurant. Therefore, sometimes we managed to enjoy undiluted red wine, which was put on the table in closed bottles during dinner))) Attention life hack - for beer lovers, it is served undiluted, primo is poured from a canister through a tap. Good luck!
Probably everyone is familiar with the fragrant aroma of freshly baked pastries in the morning, when you are just approaching the restaurant for breakfast mmm... Attention, I will have to disappoint you, because we found fresh (read - just cooked) pastries - bread and buns for all 10 days our stay just a couple! once. I'm attaching a video of stale rolls. We also noted tricks with food that was used from breakfast to lunch, from lunch to dinner, and so on, so to speak, waste-free production.
A constantly dissatisfied girl was at the lobby bar, who could only be distracted from gloomy thoughts by our positive greetings, because my friend and I are extremely optimistic and positive people, and despite all the minuses, we still tried to enjoy our vacation, since the weather in Side was great and the beautiful the sea allowed it.

We also enjoyed visiting the ancient part of Side - the amphitheater (20 lira), the temple of Apollo (we rented a car in front of the hotel for $ 35 with an empty tank, however, hahaha it was our own fault, we only noticed when we drove off, so we still had to fill up for twenty) . You will also like the bazaar in Side - this is a place with many shops with various spices, sweets, leather, souvenirs, pharmacies, cafes, etc. You will also enjoy a pleasant promenade along the sea. We also definitely recommend visiting Manavgat - a bazaar, shops, restaurants...
Evening shows of the hotel caught several times, lingering after dinner on the terrace - Turkish night, authentic dancing, bingo with winnings, karaoke. Norm.
The impression of the hotel was also spoiled by the frankly boorish (again, for the first time in my history) attitude of the bartender at the beach bar. The story is as follows - on the beach there are garbage earthenware jugs (thank God in sufficient quantities), into one of which my friend and I threw plastic cups after use. After a while, one of the bartenders bursts into us like a whirlwind between the sun loungers, sharply penetrates into the trash can and pulls out THESE cups, waving them in front of us at a distance of a meter, shouting curses in Turkish, clearly threatening, and all this in front of honest people. WE, very relaxing in the wonderful Mediterranean sun, at first did not even realize what the matter was. But, as we later realized, these plastic cups were REUSABLE, and apparently you can’t throw them away. By the way - I tried to ask this friend what was the matter and what kind of hysteria, but the staff does not speak English and good manners. In front of everyone, he scolded us as first-graders, using eloquent gestures, and it was just shocking!
Massage. This aspect deserves a separate story especially for those who, like us, are planning to go for a massage. Just not here! Tolerable turned out to be "kitty" - a procedure with peeling, foam massage and a face mask for $35 (although as it turned out later they sell it for $20, so keep this in mind if you don't get caught like the last suckers, that is, we! ) . My friend and I got a rather pleasant relaxation with smooth strokes (Mira - Thai - normal, and Gulya - Turkish - nothing). Since we planned daily therapeutic procedures in full, we decided to try other massage therapists, which we regretted - my girlfriend had a neck pain for the rest of the vacation, and during a facial massage I got the stink from the smoky hands of the so-called massage therapist. So what advice if massage - then to Thai Mira. On this, our experiments with massage ended : -))) And we decided to "heal" on the beach. The contingent is 50% Russian-speaking and 50% Ukrainian-speaking citizens, as well as their children. Foam parties - every Wednesday afternoon on the beach with Russian pop repertoire (attention - lovers of a quiet and relaxing holiday, with authentic melodic Turkish motives - not here, here you feel absolutely at home - Kirkorov, Timati, etc. ). The hotel clearly does not have enough security on the beach, as in all decent hotels, because one guest urinated under the degree right in the locker room on the beach without any complaints from the staff. It's sad : -(((

Cleaning. We are picky and simple people - and for us the main thing is a sufficient amount of soap, shampoo and toilet paper, which we received daily. The bed was never changed, except for the duvet cover 1 day before departure. They also sometimes forgot to change the towels, and when we still needed to do this, we ourselves went to the cart, gave a tip to the cleaning grandmother and safely changed everything that we needed)).
Dear tourists, I’ll make a reservation, we don’t want to seem picky, but we just want to protect from disappointment ordinary people like us, but who, like us, have NEVER encountered such things.
We took a private return transfer (we agreed on the beach with a local resident Murad for $ 50, because the representative of Intourist at the hotel pushed him for $ 90, which we considered a rip-off), since the flight was at 10 am, and we wanted to sleep longer and have time to have breakfast. As a result, we were extremely pleased that we slept, ate, and arrived at the airport before the rest of the mass of tourists and checked in without queues and crowds and got comfortable seats in the cabin.
The attention of families with children, as well as the faint of heart - on the path leading to the sea sometimes "on duty" exhibitionist. He parks the car on a forest path and shows his "performance" when the "target audience" approaches, pretending to relieve himself. We also reported this fact at the hotel - Said, an employee from Annexes, as well as the guys for renting cars. I hope action has been taken.
