I really enjoyed my vacation at Selge Beach Resort & SPA 5*! We flew there in early October with my husband and four year old son. The tour was bought directly from the tour operator - Only Tour. I just wanted to take a break from the works of the righteous, and even, if possible, from my beloved child. Everything worked out!
The children's club worked from 10.00 to 16.00, and in the evening for the kids there were discos with a host, all sorts of contests and games. The child after breakfast rushed to have fun, and it was only possible to lure him into our society with a pool and slides. The slides are for children, so, having been afraid for the first time, the son did not get off them later. Several times I lost sight of him, but I managed to notice this only after he was brought to me by the hand by one of the hotel staff.
For children's animation, you can safely put the hotel 5+, but we did not get bored either. In the evening you could watch a performance, have a blast at a disco, play bingo, which I love, with elderly Germans. During the day we did not show activity, mostly stuck around the pool. Somehow they tried to go to the sea, but, firstly, it was not too hot, and secondly, the entrance to the sea was paved and very slippery. It was possible to dive from the pier, but we decided not to set a bad example for the child and retired to swim back into the pool, and only walked along the beach.

While the child was under the supervision of animators, my husband and I went to the spa and massage. These entertainments implied an additional fee, the massage cost about 700 rubles, but it was worth it. I asked a female massage therapist (I was somehow shy). Her hands did wonders for my back. Hamam and sauna were included in the payment (we went to all inclusive). We visited them almost every day and, of course, it was great.
We had a nice room on the 2nd floor overlooking the hookah garden. I can’t say anything special here: the service was at the level, there was a separate bed for the child. Tips were left regularly, but their absence did not affect the towels.
My husband and I smoke. There are no problems with this on the territory, but, of course, elementary rules of decency must be observed. In the room we smoked on the balcony once or twice, because we were there very rarely. In addition, the already mentioned hookah garden is a heavenly place for smokers.
The food at the hotel was good: mixed European-Turkish cuisine, dishes were repeated, of course, but not often. We are absolutely not picky, but I will note that what is called watermelons and melons in Turkey is considered unripe silage in Kazakhstan. We bought fruits additionally, but it is impossible to say that they differ in taste from the fruits presented on Russian shelves. We also bought bottled beer, as we did not like the draft at the hotel. Cocktails, wine and strong alcohol were almost not drunk, as they were not particularly impressive.
There were several restaurants on the territory of the hotel (fish, Italian, Chinese, Turkish), but I did not see much difference from the food court. In addition, we gave ourselves free rein, we constantly ate fast food near the pool, so we didn’t see the point in bothering with visiting restaurants... Just like that, try it once.

There were not many people in the hotel - after all, the end of the season. There were few Russians, mostly family Germans and Turks. In general, the hotel is family-run and you can objectively evaluate it, probably, only at the height of the season. When there are not many people, you can always find the "best places" by the pool and attract the attention of the staff without any problems. Maybe someone will find a vacation like "food - pool - food - spa - food - evening bingo" boring, but that's how we described our expectations in Only Tour, after which we were offered this hotel. It was exactly what we wanted, no surprises.
