I start writing a review about the hotel Sural Resort (Sural Resort 5 *) 09/22/2017, while still at the hotel. I decided to write, because, after reading reviews about it, I was upset that I made a mistake with the choice. Fortunately, the fears were not confirmed. The hotel is not bad. Budget Turkish five stars, with their own characteristics, which I will discuss below.
So, from September 12 to September 23.2017, we rested with our family, a mother with a two-year-old son and grandparents (the author of these lines). Holiday experience abroad since 2003.
My overall rating for this hotel is four out of five. Not an 5 star in the first place because of the cleaning of the rooms. Cleaning is bad, as someone accurately noted: selectively. They can, for example, replace not all towels, or bed linen on two out of four beds... Cleaned after dinner, when the child is sleeping. At my request, the girl at the reception (in some reviews they are scolded, but I didn’t see anything like that, they are quite normal, very friendly and helpful) asked the cleaning service in our room to be cleaned before dinner. This was enough for one day. He gave money to cleaners. Did not help. As they cleaned badly and at the wrong time, they cleaned it. So don't waste your money.

The second problem in the hotel is the loud music in the nearby buildings (until one in the morning). We got this number first. Fortunately, we immediately understood this, asked, and they replaced it with a much calmer, but at the same time much more remote.
Be prepared: in this hotel, the distances that you have to walk daily are very decent. For whom this is essential, think about it. But the attitude to this is twofold. Even in our family, the vast majority were not puzzled by these distances, but were glad that the hotel had such a large territory and was well looked after. I especially liked the evening walks along the "quay" (in quotation marks because it is not quite on the shore).
Another feature of the hotel is the beach. Before him, 300 - 400 meters. The beach is sandy, there are enough sunbeds and umbrellas without any morning activities (which I generally consider complete nonsense). The sea is wonderful, only at the bottom there are some stones. There are not very many of them in the bathing area, and the water is clear, they are clearly visible, but, especially with a child in your arms, you need to be more careful.
On this, the real disadvantages of this particular hotel, in my opinion, end. The rest of the negative that is in the reviews concerns almost any Turkish hotel in this price category.
Waiters don't serve drinks. Well, yes. They don't deliver, but in other hotels, where they seem to have to deliver them, how is it done? For many orders that you still need to manage to make a passing waiter, deliveries are much less. At the same time, they won’t pour anything for you yourself, because. poured only to the waiters in the dressing. No, I'd rather go myself. I will make a reservation that the conversation here is not about Turkish, but not budget, but more expensive hotels, where there are no such problems.

Not too varied restaurant menu. Also agree. Not too much, but in general, everything there is not even bad, and most importantly, everything is absolutely fresh. Plus delicious grilled fish for dinner almost every other day. Shrimps, a couple of times there were squids. I do not agree with the reviews where they write that the range of sweets is small. Although again - with what to compare... Watermelons, peaches, apples, pears, grapes, are not translated at all. There is always soup, i. e. for breakfast, lunch and dinner. True, without a choice, but by the standards of foreign countries, it is quite a decent soup, especially if you put various spices in it, which are displayed in abundance nearby.
Strong alcohol "locally produced" almost everywhere where "all inclusive". I do not recommend using it, except, perhaps, Turkish vodka - “raki”. Be careful - 43 degrees (! ), And do not put ice directly into it - it will become cloudy, it is better to put it with water in a separate glass. The same alcohol is present in cocktails. From them, too, a headache in the morning is guaranteed. The alternative is wine and beer. Wine, of course, is not super, but it will give a ride, and beer is nothing at all. It is produced by our own factory. Sural water is also poured there, two packages of which were in the room when we checked in. Further, it could be taken without restriction in a restaurant and in bars.
Claims in the reviews to the hotel staff, in addition to cleaning, apparently also from high expectations. I didn’t meet anything from the staff there that I could be angry with or really reproach for something. On the contrary, they scurry around, hurry up, work and smile (if you also know how to smile, it's generally good : )).
Not knowing a foreign language in this hotel will not be a problem. There is almost always someone who speaks Russian at the reception. In Russian, as in native Turkish, the guide "Tez Tour" speaks in this hotel - Rustem (Selam! ). They speak Russian well in hotel shops. Of course, with some knowledge of English or German, the comfort of your stay will increase significantly (by the way, I am pleased to see how the Russian tourist grows in this sense over time), and learn a couple more words in Turkish, well, for example, to order a beer at the bar: "Bir bardak bira lutfen! " Warm smiles in return are guaranteed.
The hotel is about 60% Russian. % 25 - 30 Slovaks, the rest: Belarusians, Kazakhs, Germans and very few Turks themselves. I didn't see any Ukrainians.

There were no drunken night orgies performed by compatriots with us. Once, only the Slovaks (! ) celebrated something, at two o'clock in the morning they made some noise by the pool. By the way, this hotel has two excellent, large swimming pools. Everyone has their own bar. There are more adult water slides (open by the hour) and a children's pool with slides for the little ones. The pools are monitored and chlorinated daily. We did not see any signs of the coxsackie virus.
The Migros supermarket, bazaars and taverns are within walking distance from the hotel. From my own experience, I can say that it makes no sense to rent a car for a long time, if your plans do not include any specific trips, there is no.
Well, that's all. I did not try to describe everything in detail, but it turned out to be a fairly complete picture. I hope this helps those who are considering the Sural Resort hotel as an option for their vacation.
Good luck to all!
