Somehow we bought with a friend from Sanmar the tour "Fortuna 5 * UAL" lasting from May 06 to May 16.2018 (the cost of the tour was 46.400 rubles).

When choosing a tourist product, we, of course, came across reviews about the Nilbakhir hotel (one tourist in the same place gave it a more appropriate name - Niheral), but since the price for the same period at this hotel at the time of purchase was 4.500 rubles cheaper than the tour we bought " Fortuna 5* UAL", then there was a glimmer of hope that this fortune would be merciful to us and that the Turkish partners of the Sanmar agency would have the conscience not to take us here.

Alas, fortune then turned away from us, and attempts to appeal to the conscience of Odeon Tours employees were initially doomed to failure.

Arriving at the hotel at 6.45 am, we were invited by the receptionist for breakfast (remember, it was supposed to be UAL).

I was a little surprised by the fact that despite the early time at the entrance to the restaurant (God forgive me for such a pretentious name of this dining room!
) there was a queue of tourists resting at the hotel, one of whom outlined to us the basic concept of breakfast at the hotel, briefly characterized by the phrase "he who sleeps for a long time is hungry until lunchtime. "

A lot has already been written about the poor quality of food in other reviews of tourists about this hotel, I will only add that the range of provisions is scarce and monotonous. Looking ahead, I’ll say that lunch and dinner also did not improve the overall dull picture - soy sour-peppered kebab and tasteless cutlets, it’s not clear from what they could only fill the stomach, but in no way bring gastronomic joy to the eater. Although what am I - apples and oranges are really juicy and tasty. Well, just like everywhere else in Turkey : ))

Accommodation in the room happened after 14.00 as it should be, the room is on the 5th floor with a view of the residential area of Okurcalar village. Indeed, since
the hotel was built only 4 years ago, everything in the room works flawlessly, there is no hint of unsanitary conditions at all. The mini-bar is filled with water and soda, there are 4 Russian-language channels on the TV, single and double beds. The only downside is there is no safe. But, since we were determined to change the hotel, we were not particularly worried about this.

Passage to the sea, as already mentioned here, through the gate in the fence and through the territory of private residential buildings through a tunnel under the road. There is also an underground passage next to the gas station, they have to be used after 18.00, because the gate closes and the "five-star hotel" is left without its own access to the sea.

But back to the hotel. The evening of May 6 turned out to be quite cold, but alas, the sauna and warm hammam were under repair, so we had to warm ourselves with drinks of varying degrees of strength. The beer is diluted in moderation, among the strong ones I liked "pseudo-tequila" more - vodka with agave flavor.

The attendants are mostly Kyrgyz, Tajiks and, in my opinion, Turkmens. There are few Turks, I saw them only in the lobby bar and at the reception. I will say right away - the guys are trying, smiling, trying to somehow brighten up the overall picture. But their efforts alone are clearly not enough.

The pool bar on the street is also good (it is located in the restaurant and has access to the street), but the smells from the Shell gas station located 30 meters behind the fence and the noise of the D400 highway completely spoil the impression.

In general, after spending the night at the Nilbakhir Hotel, at 12.00 the next day we under our own power (!! ! and this is Fortuna 5 * UAL !! ! ) went to another hotel (Odeon Tours provided us with Larissa Stone Palace Hotel without additional payments, a review of it will be a little later, too, to be honest, obviously not 5 * UAL).

Summarizing the above, we can conclude that Nilbakhir is a good hotel for 3+ or 4-, but not 5* UAL.
It is possible to spend the night well in it for a business trip, but it is definitely not worth living in it for 10 days in a row, and even family, people with limited mobility.

However, if you are a lonely lover of a good drink and are not particularly demanding on the quality and assortment of food, then the Nilbakhir hotel may be a good choice.

p. s. And yes, a small wish to the Nilbakhir management company. Guys! Well, it's bad manners when in a 5-star hotel the Internet in the lobby is distributed through a household router for the home! Who does not believe - look, to the right of the lobby there is a table with a white rectangular box, this is the same 18-host wifi router, designed to provide Internet to a thousand guests of the Nilbakhir Hotel!
