Just got back. We were in Turkey for the first time, we have been resting abroad for 8 years (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Greece). Impressions are very contradictory. . . On the one hand, everything seems to be on a very high level, but on the other hand, something strained me all the time. The hotel itself is very good, but the overall impression is somehow unfinished... The food is excellent, there is a lot of everything and quite tasty, but by the end of the vacation it became boring, I already wanted a banal cutlet and buckwheat. The husband said "I'm tired of the variety" : ) It's not a problem to feed a small child, if you don't bother with the usefulness of food. All children love french fries, but sane parents would not feed a two-year-old kid with one potato three times a day for a week. More or less stewed or boiled meat is not enough. It turned out that the kid ate about the same thing all the time - mashed potatoes or pasta and meatballs, meatballs, porridge for breakfast. Soups are disgusting, did not even try to push.
The promised children's menu is missing, the children's buffet has hamburgers and french fries. For adults, there are no nutritional problems. Drinking is more than enough, but it is difficult for a small child to choose, they were content with juice, and they were heavily diluted with water, because it is very concentrated. Mineral water, lemonade, wine, beer, vodka by the river. Mountains of fruits and fresh vegetables - a paradise for vegetarians and sweet tooth. Amazing pastries and desserts. Ice cream for lunch and evening. Popcorn and cotton candy for a fee - 2 euros. The main restaurant is very hot, the air conditioning did not work even once. The room is good, normal standard room with no frills. I'm sure that we were settled in not the best room, but everything suited us. Everything is new and in working order, very clean and fresh, it creates a pleasant impression that no one has rested there before us, cleaning is daily and of high quality. The location of the room was very good, the view of the neighboring hotel, the sun through the windows only early in the morning,
after 10 o'clock and until the end of the day you can be on the balcony - shade and breeze from the sea. With the windows closed, there is complete silence in the room, neither music nor the noise of cars driving up to the catering department of a neighboring hotel is heard at all. Sea and beach for 5 points, if special. shoes then 5 +++, but only in the morning. By evening, the wave subsides and mud nails to the shore, and garbage appears on the beach. The same thing at the pools - everything is super in the morning, but dirty in the evening. There is no particular zeal for cleaning the territory during the day. In the Iberotel of Egypt, the Arabs spend the whole day scrubbing, washing, sweeping, and then, at best, at 6-7 o'clock, a peasant with a basket will pass and collect the glasses and plates accumulated during the day. The floor near the pools is filthy, you can't go barefoot very well. Sun beds are engaged in the evening, after 8 in the morning it is useless to catch, you can only stumble near the children's pool and then in the sun, there are clearly not enough umbrellas. Just clearly not enough simple benches on the territory.

Slides cover most of the minuses. Dirt covers most of the pluses. There are always free sunbeds on the beach. There was no particular disrespect for the Russians. The staff is friendly and attentive. The Germans are the most annoying, or rather their number. I really understand the guy who wanted to go to the beach with a red flag on May 9th. The contingent of vacationers in influxes - at first there were many Germans and very few of everyone else, the eldest son found a Russian-speaking comrade with difficulty. A week later, the Nemchura moved out and many Slovaks and Italians moved in - it became a little more fun in terms of the diversity of languages. There were few Russians, besides us there were several other families from Ukraine. The animation is all in German and rather sluggish, we didn't suffer, but others probably don't like it. The eldest son was used to a more busy schedule of events, he was bored.
Near a shopping center, prices are too high, but still lower than in duty free.
Out of a habit acquired in Egypt, they expected to buy the bulk of souvenirs in duty, and not fate... at the airport there are only two small shops with a very meager assortment and cosmic prices.
Turkey itself was not impressed - nothing special, the landscape is very reminiscent of the South Coast. In general, we can say that the rest was a success, but expected more. Nothing to do there for more than a week. For the first time, they left without tears and regret.
