I went to Turkey for the first time, with a child. There were no problems with the flight. We were the first to be brought to the hotel, the guide Olga, accompanying us, escorted us to the reception and, citing the fact that “she still has a full bus, ” left. They let me fill out a questionnaire, and then I realize that the reception staff, to my surprise, does not speak Russian at all. Although Anex, who sells the ticket, assured on his website that the staff speaks Russian. At first I was confused, then I switched to English (I speak badly, but I can explain myself). I explain: “We are guests of your hotel, and it’s not my problem that you don’t speak Russian, please invite someone who speaks Russian. ” He replies: “Are you guests? So, you are in Turkey, speak Turkish! And the Russian-speaking person left an hour ago ”(meaning the guide who brought us). And then they refused to understand English. That is, he simply did not answer the question of where we should go for lunch! "Don't understand! " The guy who brought us the suitcase was more welcoming. He explained something as best he could, although more with gestures. If you say: you needed money, it doesn’t matter, I talked to people later - even the money in the passport would not have played a role. That's not the point at all. Hotel guide Sultan arrived only in the evening. But it makes no sense! Of course, we decided something with his help - we moved to another room (because of the noise in the corridor and the pumping station through the window), but during our stay we saw him 3 times. That is, when it is needed, it is not there. I got the impression that he would only sell excursions and that's all, and let the tourists themselves deal with the problems that arise.

The room is good, cleanliness is so-so. Even leaving a tip did not affect the cleaning. There was an egregious incident. I got up in the middle of the night, turned on the light - in the corridor there was a huge cockroach the size of a date! These are found in our south. Naturally nailed it. I left it where it was, I think I'll take it to the reception in the morning. Then the Germans came to the next room, turned on the TV. I don’t sleep, I get up again, and the horror that I experienced is impossible to convey: a black swarm of ants who came to feast around the cockroach I killed! I am terrified. Where? We didn't bring food to the room. In the morning I come to the reception and explain in English that there are cockroaches and ants in the room - naturally, he pretends that he does not understand me. Calls the guide girl from the Tez tour to help. I tell her, she asks with big eyes: “Who did you buy the tour from? ” Fine! Who cares who! This is such a hotel! The room was removed and that's it. No apologies for the inconvenience caused. Then after 3 days they put a leaflet in the room with information that the hotel will be disinfected.
Animation.
Those traveling with children, be prepared that you yourself will entertain them. Animators speak only German. During the day they are not visible. There is a room for kids, but how many times we went in, it was closed. The town, which is very beautiful in their photo, is just empty rooms inside. When we first came, for some reason, the simulators were lying on the playground! On the territory of the town playground with swings. During the day, animators invite children to darts, near the pools, but they told me you are still small (7 years old) and sent back. In the evening in the amphitheater children's songs and dances in German with the same presenter.
Restaurants.

The food is delicious, lots of it. Breakfast is the same. But there are milk porridges and fresh juice. It costs 1 euro. Just juice that is free - chemistry, we didn’t drink it. I thought that hotel Turkey lives more on the dollar, but no - the euro. They will recalculate, of course, but the euro-dollar exchange rate is a big difference. So I advise you to take both euros and dollars on an equal footing. At 4 o'clock tea on the street terrace of the restaurant, ice cream, pastries. They bake cakes. In general, the food is in order. A la carte was visited by 2 out of 3. I didn’t like Chinese at all - not like what was stated on the menu and not tasty. We regretted that we went. in the evening there was a Turkish evening in the main restaurant. Turkish restaurant "Tulip" and beautiful and liked the food. I advise.
I was horrified in common restaurants from furniture and tablecloths on tables. And I'm not alone. Preparing for the season apparently does not concern them at all. Worn, dirty, greasy chairs and armchairs! Tablecloths as in our canteens. It's definitely not 5 stars. Why should I ruin my clothes and appetite by paying a lot of money? For this considerable money, guests have the right to count on CLEANITY!
Sea.
The sea is clean, but for us it was cold. The beach is not very clean. The beach fight does not begin to work at 7 am before the arrival of vacationers, but already late in the morning, when the beach is full of people. Sand (grated shell rock) with pebble cobbles - tin. The entrance to the sea is the same. Not without shoes. Sometimes debris floats. Blue flag for this?
Pools.
Large, a lot of space, but the sunbeds near the pools, even in the morning not to be found. Although they ask guests “not to reserve sunbeds and places in the restaurant”, they still do it. In the morning the pool is still empty, and there are already towels on the sunbeds. Children's pool for kids - 36 cm. For older children like mine there is nothing to do there - knee-deep. We went to the pool by the spa. The hot tub doesn't work there, but it's quieter.
SPA-center.
That's where the friendly staff is! Paid services - spa. The rest is the use of a sauna, bath, etc. - free.
Guests.
Mostly, of course, the Germans. Many Russian Germans - probably those who left for permanent residence - speak German and Russian, so be careful in words, keep in mind that they can understand you! Europe - Poland, Czech Republic, French and Spanish are heard. Everyone behaves differently.

The hotel itself is not bad, but as many agreed with me, with whom I met, not 5 stars at all. Tour operators selling this hotel here MUST be honest with the tourists: a lot of things do not match the declared! I did not like that they smoke, where only it is possible and impossible. There are no plates except in the room! It's not allowed, so it's possible! Would it be possible to set aside smoking areas and protect non-smokers, and most importantly children, from tobacco smoke? Why should I breathe it? Throughout Turkey this year the concept of summer 2012 is in effect - no smoking! There seems to be another dimension here. The hotel management should also take care of the Russian-speaking staff at least at the reception. After all, we, like the Germans and everyone else, pay money for a holiday in your hotel, and the attitude towards guests should be the same, no matter what the cost of my room is.
