We stayed at this hotel from 31.07 to 8.08. 21 years old. We decided to write this review because when we chose the hotel, the last review was already in 2019. We arrived here at the beginning of the third, in the afternoon. They offered to have lunch (every day lunch is held in the pool bar from 12:30 to 14:30), and then settled in a standard German room on the second floor overlooking the central pool. Everything you need is in the room, but who cares: the door to the toilet with transparent glass, just opposite the toilet and it does not close tightly, a compartment. Soundproofing is very poor. You can hear what the neighbors are doing in neighboring rooms. Balcony-loggia, large, table, two wicker chairs and hangers for drying clothes. We had room cleaning every day. They left $1 each. The fridge was always replenished with water, Cola, Fanta, a bottle of mineral water.

Grand Side Hotel 4 * - a good hotel for a relaxing holiday. Germans and Russian Germans predominate, a few Serbs, Bosnians, few Russians, there were ten people with us.

The whole orientation here is on the Germans: the language is German and Turkish, the staff understands English poorly, I generally keep quiet about Ukrainian. At the reception, the girl is fluent in German, English and Turkish. There is no linguistic discomfort. The staff is friendly, everyone smiles, hello always and everywhere. The only big minus of the hotel is smoking in public areas. There are signs about the prohibition of smoking - they / mostly Germans / smoke everywhere, on the beach, near the pool, near the pool-bar (aka beach-bar). Near the central pool, sunbeds are occupied early, covered with towels. Many families with children, although earlier the hotel adhered to the concept of "16+". Probably Covid and quarantine have contributed to this issue.

There is no free internet (Wi-Fi). For seven days of using the Internet / unlimited. / we paid 15$ (12€) for one smartphone. It will not work to distribute the Internet to other devices, the speed is very low.
You can walk all the way to Side. The hotel itself is located in the Kumkoy area. Minibuses go to the center of Side, the fare is 5 lira, or $ 1. But they don't give change from the dollar.

The sea and the beach of the hotel can be assessed from 5 points to 3. There are more than enough sunbeds under umbrellas, there are always empty seats throughout the day. Entry into the sea is not convenient, not uniform. There are stones and some kind of slabs at the bottom, you need to go into the water carefully so as not to hit your feet. The sea is clearly not for children. The hotel does not have its own pier. The water in the sea in the morning is more or less transparent, and then muddy. There is no bar on the beach. It is shared around the central pool. There is a shower, a changing cabin on the beach. Toilets are only near the pool. Beach towels are changed and issued near the central pool. pool cards.

The hotel accepts people with disabilities. For their convenience, the infrastructure is equipped.

Check-out from the room, according to world standards, at 12:00. But since
we had a transfer to the airport at 16:05, then we extended the room until 15:00 for $20.

We liked the hotel, we had a good rest. But for a change, we took an excursion to Pamukkale. Departure was at 2:30, and returned back at 21:00. I liked the tour.
I liked the rest, but there was no desire to return a second time, although it was still somewhere around 50x50.
I recommend the hotel as worthy.
